Very cool spot in the small town of Utica with a very classic diner feel. The food is very good (the pie is absolutely amazing), and they are very friendly and welcoming. Worth making the trip out to Utica to check them out.

If you are looking for old fashion home cooking, this is the place to go. Everyone in our party of 5 loved their food. The menu has a large selection to choose from. They have daily specials too. The amount of pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls and etc they offer is incredible. The prices are reasonable too. Everyone on the staff was very nice and attentive. They have all sized tables and booths and plenty of seating. The parking area is big too. The decor looks to be original wallpaper and there’s lots of history posted on the walls to read and look at. It’s like you step back in time. It’s kinda refreshing.

Don’t expect an Applebees. This is the type of place where the customers and employees know each other by name. And where customers always sit at the same table. It’s 110+ years old. Food was definitely comfort food with a “meat and potatoes” type-vibe. It’s unique because they walk you through the dessert case on your way to seating. Food was filling. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

My husband and I had breakfast there on our way to Mansfield. The host and waitress were friendly and accommodating. The food was good, but yes, it’s on the bland side. They have salt and pepper on the table. Understandably, many of their regulars are elderly people who can’t have overly seasoned foods for health reasons. If you don’t like it, don’t go back. If you do, then do so. Simple as that.

A wonderful restaurant with yummy food and very kind and friendly staff! I had the seafood platter, mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. Delicious!

They have such a vast menu. But, unfortunately, what I ordered wasn't very good. This was the 2nd time that I had been there, I was disappointed then with the food too. Twice is enough for me.

Service excellent 👍, Seafood platter was way over cooked. Clams like grape nuts, extra crispy. Other items could have been cooked less time. Portions generous! Silverware was the best I've ever seen in any restaurant. Not a spot on the silverware! Restaurant was clean & cheery.

Total old school restaurant in small town Ohio. Not fancy but very good. Great selection of down home type food. Good pie too
