I have lived in the area for many years and it was already known that this family business charges disproportionately high prices and that there is also a rather harsh tone, which is justified by the unspoken monopoly position within the town. From years of personal experience, it can be seen that the older generation (~75 years old) is initially more concerned with having a chat and putting their expensive watch in the best possible light than with serving a customer. The "younger generation" of salespeople (~55 years old) tend to focus more on gossip, which is spoken uninhibitedly in the store. The cross-generational communication patterns, such as omitting a "please" or "thank you", let alone a greeting or farewell, are accompanied by an unmotivated and slow manner of service, which ultimately contributes to the feeling that the salespeople are more likely to be bothered than bothered to make a purchase! Dear Reich bookstore team, please take this review not only as criticism, but also as an incentive to work on your tone and price expectations, which is urgently needed! The one star is only there because of its existence and because you can buy your newspaper there.

I was happy to discover a nice bookstore after we moved to the area and went there several times to buy various things. Books, calendars, writing utensils and school supplies... I left quite a bit of money there... but I have to say, I'm NEVER going there AGAIN. The last two times I've been treated so disdainfully, almost grudgingly. When I also wanted to pack a photo calendar, that was obviously too much. I would have expected more here!

I've always been reluctant to go to Köglmayr and I still miss the Reich bookstore. The current staff is not very friendly and there is a rather tense atmosphere in the shop. Now there were difficulties with tracking a package, a situation that was unfortunately characterized by little expertise and a lack of willingness on the part of the staff to find a solution that was satisfactory for me as a customer - a shame. Fortunately, there is a solution just a few 100m away. All postal matters are processed there quickly, reliably and in a friendly manner - so there is another way.

In Seefeld it also works with friendliness, why not in Herrsching? After 2 attempts it was definitely the last time I was there

Unfortunately very unfriendly staff there. Rarely have I experienced such a negative attitude in a business. It's better to go to Bahnhofstrasse, there is a nice bookstore there and the service is very friendly.

The people there are extremely unfriendly and incompetent! Was there recently to send a shipment. The woman didn't want to accept the shipment and told me that as a private person you shouldn't wrap shipments in plastic, otherwise she would have to pay a fine. I've been shipping things this way for 10 years and have never had any problems. I then had to go to another post office and asked the employees there if it was true about the plastic. The lady said she had never heard anything so absurd and accepted my package as normal. I don't understand why people lie and don't accept shipments. If you don't feel like it, you can't run a post office. Simply brazen and unfriendly!!!

If I ever have to go to the post office, I like to come here. Super friendly and always have a smile on their faces.

Very friendly service in a very well-kept shop. The current operators took over 1.5 years ago and everything has been great since then. Deutsche Post services are also offered here, and I much prefer to use them in this store than in the actual Herrschinger post office.
