Good fun river trek. Depending on the rain the water could be extremely red (from clay) or if it has been dry the water will be low and clear. I've seen some photos with the water blue, that's edited I believe. The sofa/throne is the big draw. But it's a pretty cañón en total. The road is almost washed away so be careful driving up too close.

First of all google maps lies to you. The entrance to the entrance is kind of hidden. But do ask anybody and they would be happy to help you out. We found the place just asking around because the GPS was lost. Once at the beginning of the hike we met Makys a local boy who is full of energy and kindness. He became our personal tour guide and you can tell he has done that before. He was very helpful and it was great having someone who knew the river better than us. After a few pictures at the sofa he took us to the Rubik cube at a different location. Amazing views calm waters and overall a must have experience.

Places like this makes me love Puerto Rico even more, Beautiful scenery. Be mindful that when it rains the water levels and currents are dangerous, sometimes dirty. Great for photography or hiking or just spending the day. Be safe if deciding to jump of the rocks cause if something happens, there is no cel phone reception. Stay safe.

You lose the signal when you are arriving, but you know you have arrived when you see this big sign: Blanco Canyon Route. You have to be very careful with the river current, it is deep and requires a lot of climbing. It is a heavenly and beautiful place to explore 😍📸

Beautiful place to sight see, but quite treacherous trails and not a river to swim safely at, at all!

Amazing rocky cliff canyon, but hard to get to. The trails have not been maintained in a long time. So you have to be careful brushing up on the ivy that is there. It was definitely fun and adventurous! Park by the bridge and enter the river there, it's the easiest way. And stay on the bank to the right to get to el sofa.
