After more than 15 years I discovered a town going backwards! The place is full of garbage! No water in the public bathroom, the streets are terrible, and the place is full of tourist! They are only looking for the money! The last mayor is in jail for taking the money of the city! I will not stay more than a night!

Esta bonito el lugar Solo le falta mas limpieza, cuidados y unos cuantos detalles que supongo que deberia encargarse el gobierno.

Me quedo con la belleza del salar, hermoso lugar, su gente un asco y un basurero los lugares turísticos(el cementerio de trenes pintado por todas partes), esa impresión estamos mostrando como país, no pues! Es primera vez que visitamos esta tierra pero desde la alcaldía y gobernación nadie tiene un mapa para prestar, vender o regalar del área turistico en uyuni y habia un tipo de la gobernación que debería brindar información sobre los lugares turísticos no tenia idea y de forma prepotente nos atendió, y nos que nos dijo que agarremos una empresa turística para guía, pero nosotros eramos un grupo familiar con vehículos propios y queríamos hacer un tour tranquilos y sin apuros, todos saben como son los tour con guía, aparte tenemos el derecho de recibir información turística, hay una apatía que no se imaginan.

Uyuni es Uyuni. Una de esas maravillas del planeta que hay que ir para vivirlo y contarlo. Y si vas a Uyuni, vete a dar una vuelta por Pulacayo, ahí duerme una parte muy importante de la historia de Bolivia. Ve a Uyuni! Te sorprenderás!

Uyuni als Stadt ist ziemlich hässlich und vermüllt. Die meisten Straßen sind nicht mal asphaltiert. Da fragt man sich, wohin das "Touristen-Geld" eigentlich fließt? Die Stadt ist halt der Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die Salzwüste oder in den Süden Boliviens, bzw. auch nach Chile (San Pedro de Atacama).

What a fantastic little city in the middle of a desert, right on the edge of Salar De Uyuni, the famous salt flats. The city has a population of not more than 30,000, hosting annually around 60,000 tourists from all over the world. It's a very isolated place that you cab visit by car, plane or train. The city lies on 3,700m altitude, has a very dry climate and it is cold.

La experiencia en el salar depende de la compañía y el servicio que te lleve pero, es un lugar turístico con mucho potencial, lindas fotos y lugares alucinantes Se recomienda el uso de gafas de sol, gorra/sombrero y bloqueador para prevenir quemaduras

Lindo lugar para quedarse lo mas importante todo muy limpio Lo recomiendo!!

Cannot imagine how life can go on in this town which is the gateway to the famous Salt Flats It's backward and depleted like an abandoned cowboy town centuries ago Like most towns in outskirt Bolivia the roads are damaged and dusty Buildings are either left abandoned or incomplete It's a nightmare to even think of using the toilets The salt flat is so beautiful..its a pity the gateway town is so run down
