We had an amazing time on the red planet expedition, and the team treated us very well. The Salar is amazing and there’s plenty of places along the way the team stop for you to stretch legs, BUT be prepared if you need toilet breaks (especially for ladies) you may not get some for many hours, so be prepared and take any opportunity when you have it! The food the team provided was also good, and the last morning we even had pancakes!

Had the best 3 days exploring the beautiful Bolivian salt flats / Altiplano with Red Planet Expeditions! Our guide Carlos was amazing, so funny and knowledgeable about the landscape, wildlife, geology, Incan culture etc. Our driver Jose Luis was so friendly as well! The food was also incredible. The guys really helped us cross the border to Chile at the end of the tour. Would highly recommend this agency!

We've had the best time with Carlos & Jefferson. Amazing English speaking guide with a lot of interesting information about the history of the region. The views are amazing, the lunches were great & the accomodations were ok. Sexy lama!

A tour which covered all the amazing sights Uyuni had to offer in the 3 day tour with very relaxed and helpful tour guides and drivers. They were also very enthusiastic to answer any questions we had and assured us they’d assist us if anyone felt ill due to the altitude. I felt like we could dictate how long we spent in each place and so overall was well worth the price for the tour. The food was great and catered well for vegans with their quinoa cake. They also don’t charge extra for additionals like sleeping bags - would recommend to anyone looking to find a standout company of the many tour companies in Uyuni.

I ended up traveling with Red Planet because my company (enhance travels) put me in their group to fill up groups. I didn't know what to expect but Carlos, Juan and Jasmani did a great job. Loads of information, good food and good fun! And I felt safe all the time. I wish I booked with them directly.

Amazing tour of the Uyuni salt flats. Ivan was a really nice guide with some great ideas for cool photos. The only downside was (and this seems usual for all the tours I took) that you have to pay for the entrances separately, they are not included in the price of the tour.

After plenty of research and asking for advice - i found this. Needing an English Speaking guide, its twice the cost almost for any Salt flats tour. Next, red planet is the most expensive. However the most experienced. Being a safety and reliability freak i chose them with my partner and we were not left disappointed. Great informed and reliable guide/driver, well organised tour and they were very helpful in making sure we crossed into Chile safely. My guide was Luiz and he was just amazing. Highly recommended.

Did the 3 day 2 night Salt Flat tour ending in SPdA with Red Planet in October 22. Booked with this agency after getting a recommendation from our hostel and also visiting 6 tour agencies in town and getting the best “feel” from this operator. We are confident we made the right decision. Our tour guide was Ivan and if you can get him as your guide, we would highly recommend him. Ivan made the trip as fun as possible, giving fantastic information in both Spanish and in English and laughing and joking throughout the trip. He ensured at every stop that people got the photos they wanted and kept our car entertained on the long driving sections with his eclectic playlist. Our driver on the trip was very safe and sensible, despite the challenging terrain. The scenery and landscapes speak for themselves, a must see.
