We booked a 3 Day 2 Night Tour and it was perfect. Our Tour Guide Axel did a really great job. The food was good, the accommodation is basic and it can get cold during the nights and in the morning. We really enjoyed the trip and felt safe all the time! Would recommend it 100%! Although there are plenty of cars leaving from Uyuni we were the only ones on the route and had enough time to enjoy the beautiful nature.

I have been in the 4 day tour and it has been amazing! The staff is really prepared and helpful: they continously work to make your experience wonderful: from giving you information about Bolivia and its history and economy to taking perfect pictures, driving and preparing food (we are a vegetarian and a celiac and they always paid lot of attention to our diet needs and prepared something dedicated). Thank to the amazing guide Flavio, to Fernando for the unforgettable star and sunrise salar visit, and to our driver Elmer, really a good team. The place we have seen are something really unique that we will never forget, super recommended!

Highly recommended! We have booked the 3 days tour directly on the Salt Adventures website which is very handy. The tour was well organized and we were very happy with our guide. José spoke very good English and provided us with a very detailed information about all the places we have visited. He was also an excellent driver who made us feel safe while driving across the desert and salt flats.

We did the 3 day tour and it was absolutely incredible! The scenery is out of this world. It is a lot of driving to get to Laguna Colorada but Jose our guide was fantastic and went out of his way to ensure we saw everything and could take our time at each stop and stop to stretch our legs and take photos anytime. The food and accommodation was a really great standard and they even included some beer and wine! I am so glad we went with Andes Salt Expeditions as it felt like we were the only people on the route- they seem to use different places from the other operators! I can't recommend Andes Salt Expeditions enough!

First things first, do the three day option and find a way to see a sunrise. Also, look no further, you've found the best company. Andean Salt Expeditions made the process painless and straightforward for booking. They stored luggage and were timely with all of their pick ups. The tour too covered so so much, it's hard to fathom all of the beauty and extreme landscapes we saw. They know how to take the best photos in each setting of the flat as well (big bonus)! Edwardo was the perfect guide, he did everything in his power to make sure we had the best experience while also sharing much about his Quechuan background. Andean Salt Expeditions is your best bet to a thorough explanation of the Altiplano!

We took the 3 day tour and it was incredible! The views were other worldly. Our English speaking guide, Christian, made the whole experience even more exceptional. He was very nice and communicative, and really cared that we had the best experience possible. We felt that we did things a bit differently than other tours such as staying later for sunset in the Salar and waking up early for sunrise at the hot springs. Also, even more importantly, he was a very safe and responsible driver. Thank you Christian! To sum up, very recommended, the tour was way above our expectations.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Andes Salt Expeditions on a tour of the Uyuni salt flats. Our English guide, Israel, was exceptional and really made the trip unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. The salt flats themselves were stunning, and Israel's insights, amazing photo/video skills, and explanations really enhanced the experience. Great tour! 3 days, 2 nights with Franklin. Good communication beforehand via whatsapp with Wendy and Braulio. We paid on arrival. Note 5% fee if paying by card. Locations you visit are remote so accommodations are basic, food may not be as warm as you are used to when served. Happy to have had this experience.

We went on a 3 day/ 2 nights standard tour with Andes Salt Expeditions and had an amazing time! We were a group of 3 in a car of 5 visitors which meant that we had plenty of space in the car. The tour went really smoothly and the sights we saw were jaw-dropping. We felt that time was managed really well by our driver guide and we had time to take pictures where we wanted, however a little bit more time in some of the locations would have been nice. Our driver guide, Osvaldo, was great! He was very friendly, well informed, attentive and responsible. We appreciated that he took safety seriously by wearing seat belt, driving responsibly and explaining the things we shouldn't do (despite seeing other tourists doing them). The food on the tour was very nice and they fully catered to my vegetarian partner. On the first night, the cook appeared to forget that we required a vegetarian meal, however they did manage to improvise something. Other than this, both the vegetarian food and meaty options were very tasty. Lastly, we absolutely felt that sleeping bags were necessary! The nights in Uyuni get very cold and there is no heating (6°C on the second night). The sleeping bags were 10 USD/ 70 BOB each and they felt new and of good quality.

I did a 2-day tour & both guides I had were very friendly and informative! 10/10 recommend! Their English was great & they didn't mind helping with photos & even making suggestions to help get the best photos. Alejandro was especially amazing! He speaks several languages and knows so much about the history of Bolivia. He even showed us the areas that were soft where the salt breaks through & there is water underneath- & pulled out some beautiful crystals we could take home! He truly went above & beyond educating us about Bolivia and answering all of our questions. He's very passionate about his beautiful county & rightfully so! Communication via WhatsApp is important & they are great at keeping you informed for meeting/pickup times and points so be sure to reach out once you book. You can tell everyone you encounter is incredibly grateful for Tourism & they genuinely want to make sure you have an incredible experience!

I’ve done many tours in many countries … Andes Salt is by far the best company I’ve interacted with. I did the 3 day/ 2 night tour. Our guide/ driver Harry Pinto is exceptional. A great, well prepared guide, kind human, safe and knowledgeable driver. Harry went above and beyond. The young ladies at the office are super kind and have great customer service skills. I briefly met the owner and was impressed with his kindness. Every single person I interacted with from Andes Salt highly impressed me. I wouldn’t go with anyone else now that I know them. I recommended them 1000%

the 3day tour was an amazing experience, especially because of our driver & guide Eduardo. Felt well all the time on the tour, the food and accommodation were good and the nature worth it. Definitely recommend to do the tour. We forgot some stuff there after leaving with the night bus to La Paz. They easily send it with the next bus to us. Thanks a lot for that!

Given the cost for a three day tour, this was fantastic. Communication could have been better as there was regularly confusion as to what was happening next or when the next bathroom break would be. Our driver was fantastic and clearly knew what he was doing. I felt safe in his hands and he even refused wine when one of the others offered him because he was driving. He also managed to take some amazing pictures on the salt flat for us. Would absolutely recommend Andean Salt Expeditions.

Our guide Axel (and Oscar!) was fantastic. He took care of us in very remote/rugged conditions - complete with rain and snow - and was very knowledgeable of everything related to the Salt Flats and the lagoons. He also drove carefully despite the roads being muddy and hard to drive on. Axel was social and had a lot of energy and positivity when guiding us. Small piece of advice for the company -- I was not expecting snow or freezing conditions so I didn't bring clothes or shoes that were warm enough. I was mostly fine, but there were a few destinations where I couldn't get off the car because it was so cold. I would recommend the company be very clear about the weather/conditions and that customers should be prepared. But otherwise, thank you Axel & Andes Salt Expeditions!

People are the most important part of the tour and the overall experience. Lucky to have señor Pelagio as the driver and guide. He is amazing. Very experienced, you always feel you are in good hands. His calm soothing voice made everything so enjoyable. From the 2 days at the lagunas to the salar de Uyuni everything was fantastic!

We had a 4 day tour, 2 days salt flats 2 days national park. Our guides were Israel and Belagio and they were really amazing, super kind and very talkative so that we learned a lot about Bolivia and Bolivians along the way. Private tour of course comes at an extra price, but was so worth it, because you can decide how much time to spend where (which is especially valuable when you like photography / droning). So grateful for this experience.
