Such an amazing experience. We got to see Hoizer in concert in Athens! One of the girls ended up passing out and we had to get the Medics to help us. They were amazing and really cared! Highly recommend! There are places to get drinks both with and without alcohol!

This place was not designed for concerts. It was part of Olympic Complex of Faliro. So you have to be prepared either to stand still or to carry your own portable chairs etc.

Perhaps the best concert venue in Greece. Unlike other venues everything here just works. The audio setup is good. Fair prices for drinks and snacks. Enough lavatories so you don't have to lose half the concert querying. Win! 🤘🏼

Fantastic concert venue. Easily accessible, huge parking, very well organized. The big negative is that after the concert it is a nightmare to exit the parking lot. There is no coordination and the situation from heaven inside, becomes a human menagerie. How difficult is it to assist and coordinate the drivers' exit from the parking?

Visited while attending a Slipknot concert of the Release Athens music festival. Slipknot sure knows how to throw a show. Amazing performance. Nice place for watching your favourite bands perform.

Great artists but unfortunately a terrible venue for large crowds. We went to see Florence and the Machine at the ejekt festival. Firstly most of the crowd couldn't get a clear view of the stage given its narrow layout, so a lot of people just staring at screens or squinting at a dot in the distance on stage. Sound quality was solid to be fair but view-ability was poor, location had a lot of potential but in my opinion doesn't work for a large crows. Access in and out was also not great. Parking was brutal! Simply the venue space was not equipped for audiences of this size. On leaving oddly large crowds has to pass narrow walk ways which felt pretty ominous, wrong crowd on the wrong night it could be quite dangerous. The bit that frustrated me most was token system...you had to queue to buy separate tokens for each item (water, hotdog, rum, beer), then you had to join individuals queues to get water, to then get the hotdog, to then get a rum or another queue for a beer...Luckily the artists were fantastic and the sound was good.

A wide and nice square at the seaside for cycling and walking. There was a construction when I was there but it was nice anyway. It is usually crowded at concert time. I do not recommend you go there by car because it is not easy to find parking.

Huuuge place! Well organized, in general. The facilities are right after the entrance ( wish there were closer to the stage) Drink stands - an infinite amount! Wish there were more. The cues become 30/40 minutes long during the main bands. Money exchange booths - there's very few, so the lines are infinite. No one can preview how much they drink, so exchanging money for the little coins is really an annoying thing. Be smart, overbuy!!! Side note- check the taxi prices on line, or on the taxi app. Order the taxi through the app. The ones you find outside take advantage of people, they tried to charge us 35 euros for 4km. Beware! The public transportation is really great, so avoid taxis!

"Water Square in Athens is not only a stunning open venue but also a vibrant hub for concerts and events. With its picturesque setting and ample space, it sets the stage for unforgettable performances and unforgettable memories. Whether it's a music concert or a cultural festival, Water Square is the place to be for a truly immersive and unforgettable experience. Athens' cultural scene shines brightly at this incredible venue!"

Be aware this is a place full of hazards if you decide to visit it by car, at night, as I did in order to watch a concert: 1) No / poor signposting and street lights 2) No official and well maintained parking facility (not asphalt paved, no sufficient lights and charges 5 euros), 3) You need to queue twice to buy a drink once you’re admitted in the concert area: first you need to buy a paper ticket from another desk and then ask for it from the bar! Overall, a third-world experience. Not recommend

The fact that exits were tightened causing bottlenecks shows how poorly planned an event with thousands of people was. Add the vendors clogging up exit paths, it was simply mayhem

What a festival! Great place, with super facilities, and big artists. Remarkable moments and music vibes.

Went as part of Release Athens 2023. Connection to local transit is weak. The stage was plenty pig and screens were enough to be able to see artists up-close, but they did appear to have weird flickering issues while filming. Drinks prices are exorbitant. Lockers are limited

Good experience. So many toilets avoiding congestion when so many people go to the event. I felt like the organisation was nice.

Great venue for festivals. 4 stars for accessibility difficulty to and from the area. People are crowded on a narrow exit path. Parking signs are missing. They should definitely improve the accessibility to the venue. Local authorities should make some improvements.

The shows and stage where incredible but the entrance was way to small for the crowd. That caused a lot of problems when we tried to get out.

The place to do ur own sport. But, broken floor needs work and a mini market is needed nearby.
