Hirak Baug is a small garden cum circle, located near Vadodara (Baroda) Railway Station. The Garden was erected as a Mark of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III’s 60 Years of Rule. There is also a Statue of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad IIIsitting on a throne. The Unveiling Ceremony of the Statue of His Highness (at Hirak Baug) was done by the Maharaja of Bikaner on 13th March, 1936.

Heerak Bagh is a small garden in front of Vadodara railway station which you can see when you come from railway station, bus station, city bus stand, in which the statue of Raja Sayajirao Gaekwad Maharaj is placed. The flag has been hoisted and soon the work of enlarging the garden will be done by the Municipal Corporation

Had seen this baug just outside the Vadodara railway station. It is a small garden kind circle shaped place. You can see the Statue of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad III sitting on the throne. Feels good to see the place though when visited it was no open to go inside.
