Visited Feb 2019. Famous mandir in Vadodara. Nothing I can add to the other reviews here. What I remember about this place is getting a firing from one of the ladies there for taking photographs inside the mandir. See attached pics.

Hey guys, you can find out this place beside district collector office and in front of post 🏣 office. Cool and nice place to visit. Small garden is also there to relax. You can park your bike outside of temple. The temple looks to build in 19's or before 19's. One big stone elephant is there at entrance. Check out latest pictures.

One of the ancient, most beautiful & ☮️ Peaceful & holy temple of lord Surya Narayan in Vadodara city

As name suggested it temple of Surya bhagavan. You can go there in early in the morning. It is common place nothing new in this place. Peace of mind is there only.

It is a very nice temple and it is very nice to come here and there is a lot of peace here.

Small and very old temple. Situated in a crowded place buy still holds it serene calmness. Map shows wrong direction make sure to ask around also some pics in net don't match up with the actual place it was bummer for me the first time we visited and took some time researching to confirm. You will find a elephant at entrance I not you are in wrong place. Photography is not allowed inside the temple.

Very peaceful place. Ambience is good. The idol of Sri Surya bhagwan is adorable. Greenery is good.

Dedicated to Surya Bhagwan, Surya Narayan Mandir is one of the most legendary temples of Vadodara. The temple is situated amidst the lush green surroundings of Surya Narayan Baug. Built with yellow stones, the temple was erected by Raoji Aapaji Deewan during the reign of Shri Govindrao Gaekwad before 200 Years.

Nice Temple in city centre. But history of this place is not stored anywhere. Place is under upgradation. Hope a small museum is constructed to historical information about this place.

The temple has Religious and historical value but it's campus has been cramped up from all directions by structures thus losing it's scenic beauty

Place next to Vadodara Head Post office. Not so famous. When asked at the Railway station no one was aware. Nearby Landmark: Vadodara Head Post office or Raopura Police station The temple is simple but beautiful, not so crowded and you can relax here for some time. Around 950 metres from Sur Sagar Lake

It was quite near Main vadodara city market, neat and clean, feel peace and happiness there ,must visit with your family also you can visit market ,shop and eating all around there

Surya Narayana Mandir is located opposite to Post Office in Vadodara. Its a calm place to relax. Will take around 10 mins to view the entire mandir.

Crowded places, narrow roads, parking for four wheelers is a headache. The temple is not huge as shown in the images. Will not recommend this temple unless you have a lot of time in hand.

Cool, clean,spacious,my loving god nice temple. But it was strange when I saw dogs were also permitted to sit inside near temple statue.and moreover they were barking from inside.pujari and others were looking quiet comfortable.

Aa the name indicates the Surya Narayan Temple is dedicated to the sun god or surya devta.no wonder the temple remains crowded with devotees all year long. Timings: 7 am to 7 pm

Temple is beautiful with mind blowing architect..since situated in the midst of city crowd...temple has a calm arena..photography not allowed. On Entrance there is big elephant facing the Lord Surya...U can spend hardly 10min there ..as no crowd..and I think this temple must gained much popularity once the authorities started working to make temple more developed..popular and arena upto the mark.

Very nice quiet temple opposite GPO post office. Well maintained garden around n ao known as suryanarayan baug. There's a smal shiva ling just near the foot of elephant at the entrance.
