It was a small yet a good museum. The staffs were very helpful. The Liechtenstein adventure pass was accepted, still it’s needed to show them at the counters.

I recently visited their permanent exhibit and Pompeji special show. I spent less than 1 hour in the Museum on Sunday shortly before closing and was treated very courteous and professional by a very friendly staff. I got to interact with staff members who made all the difference through their friendliness. I learnt a lot about the history of Liechtenstein and was impressed by the quality of artifacts on display. I specially like the interaction of artsy objects with historical trivia of all sorts. Not a boring museum at all, and 1 hour was definitely not enough to see it all. The staff was so friendly and apologetic of having to throw me out of museum at closing time that they offered me a courtesy ticket for the following Sunday. Which I refused to accept. The museum visit was in itself worth the while and I will be happy to visit again sometime. I highly recommend the self service walk-in coffee shop. Great pastries, great coffee, great ambience. The museum shop has lots of stuff for every taste...even Pasta Made in Liechtenstein. Great Museum. Great Staff. GREAT OVERALL experience. Keep it up.

The National Museum found in 1972 a permanent location here, formerly home to the stately tavern. It is very large and distributed on 3 floors. The permanent exhibition focuses on the history and culture of Liechtenstein, but there are also items from the archaeological and natural history collections. The museum hosts a range of temporary exhibitions as well.

Really not much to see here, but there is likely no better museum in this small country. The most interesting was the exhibition on the economy of Liechstein. When in Liechstein one might get impression that the country tries to constantly push the narrative that their economy is "real" and they are not heavily reliant on tax evasion and money laundering. I'm joking a bit ;) but maybe not ;)

I liked it. You can buy single ticket for the museum or combine with the treasure museum. The combine ticket cost 13 frank. The museum has a lots of story on 3 floor big. I found it very interesting and enjoyed learning about Lichtenstein story. They have a very nice and clean toilet. Souvenir shop also available.

The National Museum, displays historical items from the regions' long history; the stone age, up to the modern principality, including the flower & fauna of the area. It contains a shop, and cafe. There is audio available, entrance costs €10. Staff are polite and helpful.

Outstanding experience for anyone who is willing to learn about the history of Liechenstein. The National Museum comprises 3 full floors of exhibition rooms (main building), as well as the Treasury Museum, located in the Post Mail Museum building a few meters away. The ground floor is dedicated to temporary expositions, when we visited (in the Winter) they had thousands of vintage Christmas decorations made mostly out of glass, brass, and cart board. It was quite impressive to say the least. There is also a section dedicated to football history in this floor. On the 1st and 2nd floors, you can find dozens of artifacts and their descriptions, you can also learn more about highlight entries through the Audio Guide, by typing the respective codes. The guides can be requested at the reception in different languages, eg. English. The entry costs 10€ per ticket. Overall, it took us around 2 hours to check the entire museum and explore the history of Liechenstein. We had a very interesting afternoon at this museum, as they have contents for beginners who know nothing much about the country's past, as well as unique artefacts like thousands of years old coins and manuscripts. It's surely worth visiting if you come to Lichenstein!

The visit to this museum exceeded all expectations! I did not know that the museum is very large and includes a separate building, which has the treasures of Liechtenstein. Furthermore there are diverse exhibitions on each floor. I liked all of these as they are really cool! I advise you to take an audio guide and spend more than two hours to fully enjoy it. Moreover, one floor is dedicated to the history of football, so football fans should definitely give this place a chance. Thank you for such an interesting place!

A lovely discovery: not too large but not too small, enough to fill our 2hrs in a very enjoyable way if you find yourself in Vaduz. This may be an one off opportunity to pet a wolf :D Make sure you check out the temporary exhibition about Pompeii - informative, lively and very interesting. There's also a charming self-service cafeteria with unbeatable prices.

A great place to learn about the history of Liechtenstein. It has various section detailing about different eras of history, different cultures, different arts and all. It also has art gallery and some of the exhibitions which keeps on happening time to time. Do visit but visit with 4 to 5 hours in hand if you want to fully explore the place.

I would suggest buying treasury and national museum ticket together as it is only 3 CHF more (10 CHF for National museum and 13CHF for national and treasury). The visit was nice, a lot to see, however, there is no english information in the exposition.
