Great place to spent time with friends and family. Evenings are splendid. Waves are calm and you definitely can spend quality time in water. Not a drive in beach but considering the difference in sand and few bikers on beach I think you can take your two wheelers but definitely on your risk 😜. Sand is bit different in color in these region. Will definitely get a good view of sunset ( to an extent...)

Great beach. 5/5 for the beach 0/5 for the condition of the approach road 1/5 for the development of the beach front and facilities. It's a clean calm and quiet beach. The road just opens out to the beach front. Not very polluted. I didn't find a single bottle or plastic bag in the water. No shops nearby for anything No hotels. Not even thatukadas. No markings on the approach road. No street lights.

Valapad beach is the most peaceful beach I've ever been to in my entire life. It is almost never crowded compared to the adjacent nattika beach. If you visit it during non-peak hours you might be the only one on the entire beach. Must go if you would prefer to visit a natural untouched landscape which hasn't been tarnished in the name of tourism and development.
