One of the best shrimp & grits....Had a lovely dinner on the patio after emailing for a reservation as we were traveling to Florida. They let us bring our puppy along as well! Service terrific too. the indoor ambiance lovely...clearly need a reservation on a Friday night. If you get a chance to stop for a lunch/dinner, it is worth the time. You also get to visit the historic downtown Valdosta.

Dinner service for four guests early on a Saturday evening was timely and courteous. I highly recommend you make a reservation ahead of time. The atmosphere is a little noisy but elegant, clean and classy. You'll blend right into the crowd wearing anything from a polo and khakis to a three piece suit. Menu is simple, but extensive enough to provide options for even the most picky of palate. Dessert was outstanding. Pricing was reasonable as well. You won't find a better dining experience at this price point anywhere in the state. I would recommend 306 North to anyone regardless of the situation.

Great experience on a overnight stopover in Valdosta. Found after online searches and glad we did. Server John was great. Started with the dirty, bleu cheese olive martini and a classic mule, paired with the pimento cheese biscuits with red pepper jelly appetizer special- it was all devine. Delicious Caesar salads, with an authentic dressing that tasted like it was possibly made in-house, didn’t get a chance to ask. Also had the halibut special with grits and collards. A great entree. Too full for dessert but we do hope to got back, maybe we can try some them.

This was the best experience during my whole road trip as far as food goes! They treated me and my 11 year old Basset Hound like Queens! The southern hospitality here was exactly what I needed and was looking for. The food was delicious and the people were so nice. It was well worth the 10 or 15 minutes off of the highway to go here.

Absolute Gem in Valdosta, Georgia!!!! I have travelled all over and this restaurant actually provides the service and quality of food that I am accustomed to. If you love seared tuna and beautiful plating, yummy sauces that are beautifully placed, and perfectly cooked filet, with an atmosphere that reminds you why you enjoy dining out, you want to check out this place! Took my my mom for her birthday, she loved it, our group loved it, I loved it. Literally no complaints, no improvements needed. Everyone’s dish looked amazing and the starters we all shared were phenomenal! I highly recommend if you are wanting quality food of a certain caliber.

We stopped by for a quick lunch. I had the salad that was more than enough for a nice light lunch. The only part of the salad that I'd knock is the bacon, seems pre packaged. The rest of the ingredients tasted fresh.

I liked this place. Pretty good atmosphere, and the service was good. The steak was ok. Nothing to really rave about. The halibut was awesome. Seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. I highly recommend it!!

Our wonderful waitress Ms. Ana was an absolute doll. She made our Anniversary dinner night both precious and beautiful. I recommend Ana and I also commend 306 North Restaurant for an atmosphere and dinner items well done.

Attentive staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. My husband and I came last night while in town and we wanted to try absolutely everything on the menu. We ended up getting the Southern Sampler to start and then I got the salmon with honey truffle grilled sweet potatoes and balsamic mushrooms. Everything was delicious!! The waitress took good care of my gluten free needs and kept things separate on the Southern Sampler so no cross contamination occurred. No issues and great service!!

I don’t know if Mr. Stan (owner) sources his salmon directly from Alaska or not, but the quality makes me think so. The Chef prepared it so perfectly that I even ate the crispy skin. My wife’s dish was equally delicious and was accompanied with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. I elected to have the gouda grits and spinach. You can’t beat the price for the quality of food you receive there. Looking forward to returning soon.

Nice place. Cozy; not too stuffy. Entrees are varied and well prepared. Waiters are attentive and busy. Not a fan of the crinkly, paper tabletop covers. Very distracting and diminishes the otherwise quaint setting. But overall, job well done. They have my business.

We had a wonderful dining experience at 306 North. My friend ordered the scallops and I tried the cod. Both were delicious and prepared to perfection. The wine list is extensive and their blue cheese stuffed olive martini was on point. Our server was attentive without being intrusive during our meal and conversation. We will be back.

Stopped here for lunch today and so glad we did. The fried green tomato with pimento cheese cheese and bacon was calling to both of us, got it with a side salad. They make most of their own dressings. Everything was delicious and service was very good, thank you A.

Started with the Spicy She crab soup. Really tasty! We ordered the grilled fish sandwich and nice size plate and mom said it was very good. I hasld the 306 salad. and had it with grilled chicken, with a side of ranch dressing and Siracha, perfect and delicious ! The place was nice and difficult from all the places around the area. Lovely artwork thruout the restaurant.

Great little place with pretty good food and a nice dining experience. This trip was our second time. They have a variety of items on the menu with specials. Service is very good. They aren’t afraid to modify their menu item to your taste. For example I wanted my club sandwich with less turkey and no ham and it was no problem. Prices are very reasonable. Don’t go to a chain when you can go here for a better experience.

Went for a celebratory dinner. Fried green tomatoes and duck appetizer was delicious! One got the ribeye with mushrooms and mashed potatoes, one got ahi tuna with squash soufflé and okra/tomatoes, and one got the seared cod with okra/tomatoes and Gouda grits. The steak was cooked perfectly to order and seasoned perfectly. The ahi tuna was flavorful. Squash soufflé was a must have. Okra and tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and grits were very bland. The cod, was very dry and under seasoned. We chalked it up to a bad cut of fish because the most of the food was delicious. Our server, Mary, I believe, was impeccable. Comp’d the fish plate and took the time to hold a very nice conversation with an elder one of the party. Will be back, and will try new things again! Mary, if that’s your name, you rock!
