Basic interstate hotel. Very affordable. Super clean newer room. Miss India was friendly and accommodating and was noticeably working very hard to keep the place clean and running smooth. Great place to spend the night after a long day driving. Can't beat it for the money.

My boyfriend & I stayed here the weekend of my birthday which was the 3-7, very friendly staff. Passed the bed bug check! But I think they should really add in protective covers over the mattress and pillows just in case for the future. It was quiet & the beds could have been a little bit more comfy but overall a great stay.

Nice hotel in a great location! The room was comfortable and was clean. The front desk clerks are friendly, and the hotel is right off I-75 and close to everything. Reasonable rates.

Had been driving for 8 hours and just wanted a clean hotel room. The Comfort Inn next door literally wanted twice the money. So I drove over to the Super 8 and I was surprised about how gracious and polite the manager and the desk clerk was, and even more excited when I saw the nice big clean bright room. This hotel does it right and the price is right!!

I've enjoyed my stay at Super 8! Never got a chance to get in the pool. The room was nice. I saw 2 small roaches & had informed the front desk to spray the room. Under the beds could had used a little sweeping. 2 rooms where the toilet water goes down slowly. I chose a 3rd room & toilet water goes down a little faster. Overall, the room was okay. Price was okay. I enjoyed the continental breakfast they had every morning.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms looked like they were recently redone. The location is perfect from the main highway. There's restaurants and gas stations within walking distance.

The room was big and comfy, I was a little upset with the TV it wasn't a smart TV so I could only watch the things currently playing on the cable, the breakfast was a grab and go breakfast with coffee. The customer service there was absolutely amazing!!! I would like to give special thanks to the 2 beautiful women who worked there they were sweet and made sure we were satisfied with our stay and always greeted us. I want to shout out to Mrs. Calandria Grogan and India Norwood!!

Room was filthy, and smelled of mold, after turning on the air conditioner it got worse. Went to front desk and complained, there were no more rooms available and could not do a refund until the midnight employee came in. There was no refund submitted, and had to go thru my bank to get a refund which would take up to 10 days, in the meantime I was charged. Don't go there!!

For years this was our go-to stay on business taking care of local nursing homes, we especially love the latest remodeling! Unfortunately our 4 day stay last January was a sleepless nightmare. Apparently there was some sort of unsupervised daycare child rampage going on non stop in the room above us literally 24/7. It was like living 2 inches underneath an active bowling alley. In addition the parentless family obviously had bored teenagers wondering around loose with nowhere to go. Sleepless to say the least, I had no choice but to drag myself to the lobby, sit & chat with the sweet manager all night. She was helpless to remedy the situation. They even renewed the "elephant's" above us room stay for 3 more nights to drive a spike in our ears even more -- even our bed was actually vibrating (no quarters needed). I tried to sleep in our work van til sub freezing temps made it unbearable. She gave me management contact names to at least get compensation for our worthless miserable stay. However their sorrowful promises proved worthless. We're scheduled to care for the four Valdosta facilities next month. I guarantee we will never ever ever stay here again! I shudder just thinking about driving by it, and our horrible 4 day & night experience!

They have a great staff who is friendly, polite and professional. The hotel is keep clean as well as is the room. The breakfast provided has a good selection of items and juices/coffee/hot chocolate. Would definitely stay there again. This was the third time staying here.

Just passing through and needed an inexpensive, safe and decent rest for the night. 24 hr. Front desk with cam on interior floors for safety was nice at this place as it is nested within a big parking area and other Hotels & Motels right off the Highway. While the bed was worn out...it still was clean and comfy for what we paid for. Staff were very nice and in tune. This is an older hotel and they are updating rooms. Waffle House is right next door.

I've stayed there several times now, the rooms are clean and the beds are made. The rooms are nice also . The Hotel Staff , have always been very friendly to me, every time I stayed there. If you need a room, you need to book a room early. The rates are good πŸ‘ I highly recommend using this hotel, if you're passing through

Increased the price $20 from the price I reserved it on hotels dot com. Had to walk my asmatic child through the smokers hanging out on the outside stairs. No elevator. Toilets need to be cleaned under the rim. They're disgusting. This hotel gives me an unclean feel. I couldn't rest, barely slept, didn't feel comfortable or safe. I didn't check out their cereal bar, sorry, I just don't trust their food. There are a couple hotels next door, try those and skip the Valdosta Super 8.

This was the second Super 8 I stayed at on my extended vacation and found it to be reasonably priced and just what I needed for a few hours sleep. The breakfast bar had been a little picked over, but not a big deal for me that morning.

My room AC didn’t work. No remote in the room. Walk downstairs several times to get a remote, none worked and was out of batteries. This was an horrible experience for the first time coming to Valdosta. Hot room with no TV. All rooms are occupied so I couldn’t change. To late to try to get another hotel. This was not good. But the customer service here is welcoming.

For the price we payed this room was really good. The front desk guy was very nice and the room was clean. The beds were comfy and they had coffee, muffins and fruit the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised!

We stay here at least once a year because they take dogs. It probably deserves a 2.5 star but the staff and parking bump it up. Rooms are clean and another problem is restaurants are pretty far, none really to walk to except IHOP :( and waffle house :(.

  • 2/5 MJ C. 2 years ago on Google
Ugh. It was 1:30 am and $74 including the $10 pet free. Pro: allowed dogs for a fee. There was a fridge in the room Con: all of it. Room smelled like mold/ mildew and that smell clung to our bags for the rest of our trip. Bathroom was disgusting, sheets didn't feel clean and the rug was sticky so we kept our shoes on until we went to bed. Hard pass if you can.

Such a clean and bright hotel. No frills, but so comfortable and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly. They clearly enjoyed helping their guests. We were very impressed for the price we paid and will absolutely stay again.

Both the desk clerks were very professional and helpful. The hallway smelled musty the carpet look like it could use a cleaning. The room had not been cleaned properly there were fingerprints all over both mirrors and water splatter the toilet seat was broken the inside of the toilet was filthy there was three big stains on the bedspread which was quite noticeable the room smells musty the nightstands was never wiped off it looked like it had coffee spilled on that had been there a while. The headboard was so dusty we wrote clean me on it in the dust. Went to the coffee bar in the morning it needed to be wiped down had there been a cleaning cloth there I would have cleaned it myself garbage cans were overflowing from the night before. The blanket on the bed appear to be covered with dirt from the floor it would not take that much to get this place in better presentable order. A clean room would make up for all the other little things that were wrong your cleaning people need training and if they cared that would make a big difference also

Unfortunately chose to stay here on another cross country trip as availability that night for other hotels was low. The room had such a strong odor of mildew and tobacco. We woke ealry and left as I was having severe allergies. Definitely had not been cleaned, bed sheets were just remade. Bodily fluids were on the shams, food on the floors, caulk and grout lines need replacement. A/C was stuck on full blast, normally not a problem but it was 50 out already. Place was just plain filthy and the air quality is dangerous. Can say that I will never stay at another Super 8 ever.

We stayed at this hotel while driving down to Florida, we had to stay in two rooms because there was 6 of us, which I was okay with. The issue was the rooms, the first room we went in smelled very musty, there were holes and stains on the walls and bugs in the bed and in the sink, there was half eaten pizza crust inside the microwave. My son took his shoes off and after a few steps they were black on the bottoms. After seeing this I went down to the desk to get a room change while my husband and kids looked around the other room. The second room we were booked in was not much better… there was not as strong a musty smell but there were bugs in this bed as well and β€œbodily fluids” on the comforter. There was also lots of bugs in all of the light fixtures. This hotel is in much need of some cleaning and maintenance. Despite this the lady at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic about the situation and we received a full refund and ended up staying in a different hotel down the road. Definitely will not be booking at this super 8 in Valdosta Georgia again.

Room was good for the price we paid. Room was clean and smelled good. A/C worked good. No issues with noise. There are 2 floors but no elevator. Breakfast was only muffins and fruit, but there are plenty of places to eat close by.

The Super 8 and Days Inn are my go to locations when needing a local room. It is the best balance of price and room quality. The rooms are large and clean. Staff is nice. If you use booking.com you can even save some money on your stay.

Basic room. Comfortable but well used in some areas. Despite cleaning posters in the lobby, a little more thorough cleaning could have been done in room (jelly on no smoking sign on table, used towel still on back of bathroom door). Staff is by far the highlight of the place: fast, friendly, and helpful.

Great stay, well maintained property with plenty of parking, clean room with fresh linens, nice grab and go breakfast and very friendly staff. Great stay at a great price.

First room we were given was so awfully moldy-smelling that it would have affected my health. The second room we were given had no bathtub plug, so I went back to the desk. Group decision (after much searching for brand-new rubber stoppers the manager had purchased) was, "why not take the stopper from the first room?" Manager walked me back to that room, and gasped loudly when assailed with the stench upon opening the door. I took that stopper, which also ended up not working. Thanks to good old Yankee engineering, I used the wrapping from the paper cup in order to create an air-tight seal. All in all, was definitely not an option on our return trip.

Nice clean rooms. A great price. And you can bring a pet if you wish. The clerk gave us first floor and changed our room once. The hallway inside seems very safe and monitored.
