this hotel is just a tourist trap. the only good thing about it is that it has a good location. 1) breakfast is very bad, i arrived at the breakfast area very early 8:30. bread was hard, scrambled eggs was cold and all tasted bland as if it was made days ago. 2) the bed didn't have a blanket or a thin summer bedding. nothing. you are supposed to sleep on a mattress with a bed sheet on it! 3) the remote control of the AC was broken, i called the reception and they tried to dismiss my request by saying the AC works anyway. one receptionist came to the room after calling twice saying that the remote can be used without a screen, see ? it works! i said but i can't see which mode it is working on and I'm supposed to get a fully working remote with the room. horrible customer service, instead of owning the fault they just manipulate you into thinking you are wrong, its working!. 4) i went to checkout and surely they didn't want to refund remaining 2 days that i had paid for. 5) horrible noises in the night, everything can be heard from the next room, wall isolation is nearly non-existent. avoid this place unless the room costs less than 35 euros a day. that's what it worths.

This was an interesting stay. Rooms are tiny, vintage, and very little road noise reached in I found they are great for a place to sleep. Really close to Valencia Nord station and easy walk around the oldest part of the city. Staff are extremely helpful and provided excellent directions to get to different places around the city. Also they are right in the heart of the old city and close to many restaurants and bars. Also close to several transit points. Although I just walked everywhere as it’s a very walkable area.

This hotel isn’t casual, it is simply below basic. There is no fridge(!), you can’t open a window, it’s nothing like the pictures I saw online, the beds are absolutely terrifying, as they are full of pests. After 3 nights, my skin is full of irritated spots. There is almost zero sound isolation either. During my nights in the hotel, I heard a lot of sounds from surrounding guests: toilets flushing, showers, elevators opening, creaking doors, TV’s, and even people one floor above me that I suppose were just walking casually. Even the shower was really bad, it went from cold to hot and vice versa. The shower itself was way to small, and there was only a curtain, and no glass, causing the bathroom to be completely soaked everytime I took a quick shower. On the other side, the staff was very friendly to me. The breakfast was sometimes okayish, but I never could enjoy it. The reason for that is because the chairs are fully metallic, no pilows whatsoever. You will make new records in finishing your meal as quick as you can, because the metallic chairs will hurt your back in no time! There is a well known saying: “Everything was better back in the day”. This vintage hotel proves the opposite. I give one star for the good and friendly staff.

This hotel is located in the heart ❤️ of Valencia, located in a stunning area with incredible buildings. Each bedroom has its own theme, ours is London! The attention to detail is truly amazing. It's a 2 star but very good, don't let that put you off. The staff are great. Breakfast is fine with a great selection. Try the restaurant right outside, Its convenient and v good!

This hotel was perfect for my very recent solo Valencia trip. The rooms are pretty basic, but the location and service from the staff at reception and room service was top quality. Bars, restaurants and tourist sights - like the big market, plus travel by bus/taxi to the beach, are all within very easy reach by walking. Breakfast was included and was basic but decent enough - I only used once - as many options nearby. On my midweek trip (Tuesday - Thursday) I slept pretty well each night and didn't have too much noise. The reception staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. And on my last day after check out, as my flight was late evening, they let me store my big bag at the hotel for several hours which was invaluable as saved me having to lug it around for the whole day and meant I could squeeze in a trip to the Bioparc which I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. And would highly recommend the same to others if you don't mind a basic room.

Nice hotel situated in a great area. The view of the square from my room was gorgeous, however it can be noisy at night. The room was fairly basic but well maintained, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. For hot water in the shower you need to turn it on 5 minutes before you get in, which seems to be a common thing for Casual hotel chains. 3pm check in is quite late but you can leave your bags at reception if you arrive early.

Great location..right in the heart of Valencia. If your lucky enough to get a room with a balcony ..the views are superb. The room cosy and clean. Very comfy bed. The Air con switches of after a few hours automatically but leaves the room cool enough. The bathroom needs a little bit of an upgrade. The staff friendly and breakfast ok...better than expected.

We visited in November. We got a family room with two two-person beds for only two people. The room was spacious and clean! Good beds and the choice between a harder and softer pillow, which we really appreciated. The bathroom is somewhat outdated but functions as it should. Only bummer is that the curtains didn't close fully, always a stripe of light coming in the room. The breakfast choices are limited to Dutch taste. Overall good price-quality ratio and lovely staff at reception and breakfast.

The only positive point is the good location of the hotel 🏨. Right in the hard of the old town and in walking range from the city's historical centre. In other terms the service was very poor, the room at the fourth floor was terribly smelled cigarettes and smoke, our clothes consequently smelled cigarettes smoked, not comfortable enough, elevator (if you are lucky enough to find availability to use it, otherwise climbing up to the floors is the normality), corridors and stairs are claustrophobic. The breakfast variety was quite good for such a hotel but the service was a really chaotic situation, not on the blame of the (just) two poor waitress who tried their best to meet customers requirements, but on the obviously lack of proper management and organization.

Great location. Clean room but only a shelf unit and small raíl for clothes. It wasn't possible to block out the noise from the corridors. However, this was not the room that we had booked, which was meant to have a balcony. From the first day of our stay, the door handle to our room was faulty and wouldn't lock from the inside. We immediately mentioned this to staff who said that it was working properly. Five days later they replaced it! At breakfast time the food that was meant to be hot was often cold and, on occasions, there was a shortage of food due to the fact that people were removing food items for consumption later in the day. This was blatantly obvious to us but not dealt with by staff.

I've been in this hotel for 30 minutes and I'm already fed up. The service is poor, check-in time is from 3 p.m. The place is supposed to be cool because it's close, but I'd rather have a normal hotel on the outskirts, because a night here is worth maybe 10 euros. An old tenement house, i.e. a total lack of views, unless the window looks at a dirty old tenement house one meter away, old pipes, no hot water and an unpleasant smell, I strongly advise against it.

very bad hotel i have booked in july 2021;a room with terrace facing plaza. on March 14, 2022 I am notified that it is not possible while my flight is on 15; March leaves. if it was reported in July I would have had plenty of time to find another hotel. I have not had a nice holiday and I would like a solution for this. if this hotel is customer friendly i expect a good solution.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the location is amazing, lots of great places eat and explore nearby. Comfortable rooms. We didn't have a hair dryer or iron or safe, but the hotel is 2 stars so this is understandable. The air conditioning was great during the night so we could sleep during the heat. We had a nice view over the plaza. We enjoyed our stay!

Custom service is low but you wouldn't expect this in a hotel. I called the hotel to get information for family coming to visit Valencia and the staff member on the phone was extremely rude. Bad customer service is one thing but being rude is bad on another level. No worries, now we know which hotel that's NOT worth going to. So don't pay for Bad service and rude staff members. We certainly won't. We found the Venecia Plaza Centro hotel which has a better view of the city hall square and when I called them the staff member was polite.

We've not stayed here for years until last night. There is no doubt that this hotel has a superb location. Functional rather than luxurious but excellent value for money.

The Casual Valencia Vintage hotel is an expensive 2 star hotel. No Pool, GYM, Minibar or hotel bar. I think it was expensive because the location is perfect for a Valencia visit. Important at check in, do not accept a room with the number 11 ( for example 211 or 511), these rooms have only a light shaft window. When I booked online I been shown a different room , so I insisted on a different room. The room with the number 508 was okay and had a great city view instead of the light shaft window.I guess this is somehow a method in Spain, at the check in they always try to give you first the worst room. If you take it, good, if not then they give you another room.

Very nice rooms that are beautifully decorated with nice wallpapers. Everything was clean it was easy and close to the underground and a lot of shops and cafe's. I really liked that place. Maybe you'll like it to😉?

First of all the good points. The location was good, being very central. The staff were friendly, mostly, and the cleaning was thorough. But the room we had was poor. It was described as having a city view - which if I opened the small window and leant out I could see a small fraction of the Playa de l'Ajuntment. I asked about changing the room but was told it was not possible. I offered to pay for an upgrade, but it was explained that because I had already paid they would have had to cancel my original booking and make a new one at full rate. No - I didn't understand their logic. Secondly we were unable to use the television - there were no English speaking channels (CNN, BBC World etc). They offered to retune the television, but nothing changed. Finally they don't have a computer available for public use, so I was unable to print out boarding passes or locator forms required before flying back. The location and the generally friendly staff allow me to give it 2 stars.

It's a nice place for a short stay we only stayed there for one night only for two people the room was a little narrow no space to move about but the bathroom was very spacious and clean.had a tiniest fridge and that's all not even two glasses to use or an electric kettle beds were not very comfortable but over all its location was very central.

The reception team was incredible!! And the room super clean! I had a little problem, and they immediately came out with the solution! I will come back for sure!! 🫶🏽

The walls are a bit thin, but the service and the price-value ratio is fantastic. The receptionist Teresa is also super super kind and forthcoming. Thank you for all the help you gave me! I really appreciate it. I would definitely come back.

Please read before your booking for Fallas de Valencia. The hotel communicates poorly. I booked this hotel in July for Fallas requesting the terrace room with a view on the square, as my friend with whom I travel is disabled, and this would be easy for him. They replied on my request the day of our flight 00:01. With the message they cannot guarantee it. Fact is they rent out the rooms with a view to companies and private parties. Instead of telling us to book these specific accomodations, they choose to reply on the day of our flight. The personnel offered us a view from the breakfast room instead, but beware that this is not possible on the 18th and 19th of March as this is rented out as well to companies or private parties. The hotel is part of a chain which becomes clear when you ask to speak to a manager for alternative solutions. You don't get to speak to any management for any kind of solution. The answer is a standard, "we will check with the manager" Mind you that his is just for Fallas festival. Overall the room was clean, breakfast is simple but statisfying, personnel is friendly. So if you want a good place from where you can explore Valencia it is a good hotel.

A few things happened in the last two hours of our stay in this hotel. It makes me wonder how they have a higher rating. They might have fake reviews. When we first came in, there was a gentleman talking about someone else being in his room which already gave us a red flag before we even checked in. We went to check in anyways thinking that it might be a one of. After checking in, we decided to unpack and shower. I tried locking the door and realized that it doesn’t work at all. I decided to try to use the hotel phone to try to contact the front desk but it doesn’t work either. The hotel room door not working makes it very risky for our items since we are travelling internationally. I then proceeded to shower. In the shower, I noticed that drain is not working properly which is causing a flooding in the bathroom which went out to the room. We had to go back to the front desk twice because he didn’t even want to provide extra towels to clean up the mess. I had to show a video recording of the flooding before he offered to give more towels. I asked to be moved to a different room because this is unacceptable but they said they are fully booked. After requesting a refund, I was told that I have to wait for management to come in the next day to discuss the possibility of it. I do not recommend staying here at all.

A/C only works on summer. If you are hot, must open the windows and refresh yourself...first time that this situation happens to me and my family after many years of traveling. So, after a brief technical arguing with the staff, they offered a FAN 😁😁🤣🤣🤣 I would never come back to this place. Keep calm and cool down yourself...🤣🤣

Good location and clean rooms. The pet pack (dog bed, dog bowls and treats) was a lovely addition and really made us feel comfortable.

Well I know now why so many people sleep on the streets in this town. Refused entry as the identity card, which also showed my disability. I was verbally abused by one member of staff, while I tried to sort my paper work. Grada civil called for further abuse and stress, denied a cup of coffee to help until I was checked in. I don't know if maybe it is a prison camp🤔🤕

Perfect location right in the heart of the city. The room was clean but be careful which room you book because I had no window which felt a little depressing

  • 1/5 Branislav K. 2 years ago on Google
They are charging more than agreed and refuse to discuss later on... they are charging in different currency to make money on people. Be aware of this.

Rooms pretty basic for the price, cracked tiles in the bathroom, no safe or access to one and the balcony door didn't lock. Breakfast was great though and the location was phenomenal

Nice hotel, very central, five minutes from subwaystation. Great breakfast. Superfriendly staff. Had a nice room on 1st floor. Only one minus - due to the age of building - bad smell from the bathroom sink, not much but an can be disturbing.

  • 1/5 Mary M. 1 year ago on Google
The location is perfect and all the staff are friendly. There’s breakfast available but you have to pay an additional fee. Unfortunately I wouldn’t advise someone to stay here :( my room was the size of a coat closet and the bathroom was almost un-useable. I couldn’t shower without the entire room flooding so I was constantly asking for extra towels. It was a cheap option but I would’ve been better off in a hostel.

Very friendly service, amazing location but definitely a grandma rehab. We drove a car and it was mission impossible to find parking close by

  • 4/5 Cathy S. 2 years ago on Google
Loved the rooms, great decor and comfy bed. The shower was powerful and it was a nice change to have coffee making facilities. The location was perfect, central and close to many bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative, noise on the street which woke me up several times during the night... Not the hotel's fault but a shame as it affected my sleep.

I think that the rooms that end with 06 (ours was 506) were afterthoughts and just crammed into empty space. It had room for two twins and small nightstands and that was basically all except for a closet that contained a small bureau. The bathroom was clearly added as there was an 8 - 10" step up into the bathroom. This was allow the plumbing to run under the floor. The first night we had no hot water ( fixed the next day) and the plumbing was so bad that you could hear toilets flushing all the way to the elevator. Our room was not vintage or casual, just shabby. The floor was falling apart, all of the baseboards were chipping as well as the flimsy nightstands. The lamps chosen for the nightstands (tripods with spot lights) took up the entire space of the top of the nightstand. I make these comments not because I am super fussy. But when I checked out other hotels close by, their offerings were much better for the same price. The location was good but if you look at the building and see the small windows above the main entrance, you will see the size of the windows for rooms "06" that are not rented at a discount. They should be and not charged as the same price as the ones with wonderful windows and space.

Casual vintage Valencia is a great hotel, in the middle of Valencia. Is has good rooms with all the nessesary things. Staff is friendly, rooms are decent priced, no noise complaints. Overall a great hotel for tourists.

Clean room, king size bed, bery large bathroom well equipped. Service, when needed, impeccable, easy access to everything central in Valencia. Really a 15 minute walk from train station. So the best place if New to Valencia and have only train as transport. 15 minute walk to subway as well.

Lovely location and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the room was big. Only thing is that the room smelled like stale smoke, and you can hear people from the other rooms.
