Hospitality
knows
no
bounds
at
Tavella,
a
culinary
diverse
restaurant
that
keeps
tradition
and
authenticity
at
the
forefront,
while
providing
the
freshest
meals
derived
from
daily
offerings
at
the
local
market.
Tavella
combines
balance,
technique,
and
quality
ingredients
to
create
a
gastronomic
experience
that’s
refreshing
and
delicious.
The
restaurant
is
beautiful,
set
in
an
old
farmhouse
with
different
dining
corners,
each
with
their
own
welcoming
atmosphere.
Decorated
with
furniture,
mirrors,
lamps,
and
regular
home
goods,
the
restaurant
feels
cozy
and
reminiscent
of
eating
at
your
own
family
home.
I
enjoyed
lunch
at
Tavella
with
my
friend,
where
we
opted
for
the
tasting
menu.
Depending
on
the
season
and
market
availability,
the
menu
changes
as
needed
to
always
present
the
highest
quality
and
range
of
foods
for
diners.
With
the
tasting
menu,
you
get
a
choice
of
four
different
starters,
a
fish
and
a
meat,
and
dessert.
Our
starters
were
varied
and
each
delicious.
We
had
smoked
sardines
with
white
asparagus,
capers,
and
pepper
in
beetroot
juice.
The
balance
of
peppery
flavors
with
the
salty
fish
was
perfect,
and
the
asparagus
tasted
garden-fresh.
The
texture
of
the
steak
tartare,
along
with
the
juicy,
tender
meat
was
great,
and
one
of
the
best
I’ve
had
anywhere
in
Spain.
Our
other
two
starters,
cod
fritters
in
tomato
sauce
and
pork
belly
in
sliced
courgette
were
well
planned
and
expertly
executed
dishes,
and
rounded
out
our
tastings.
Our
fish
was
barbecued
turbot,
which
was
spicy
and
smoky
in
seasoning,
and
fresh
caught
in
taste.
My
favorite
was
the
1kg
of
steak,
cooked
medium
rare.
The
meat
was
a
generous
portion,
and
was
juicy
and
tender,
cooked
just
enough
to
enhance
the
flavor.
For
dessert,
we
indulged
in
brownie
topped
with
mango
ice
cream
and
meringue
in
a
vanilla
sauce.
The
chocolate
mixed
with
fruit
and
cream
was
refreshingly
delicious.
The
best!
