I went here twice, at a weekday and at a weekend day. You did notice the difference regarding service but that's understandable given the crowds. The food is good and the people are friendly. Reservation is highly recommended during the weekends. However I didn't quite understand why we couldn't sit outside despite having a reservation. There were 2 tables free outside but we could only sit inside. Do you have to remark this in your reservation or something?

Good food, fantastic atmosphere in a fancy location. Having tapas with friends or going there as a couple doesn't make any difference, the quality remains the same. Really loved the interior room decorated like an actor's dressing room. A great variety of tapas and the orange cake is one of my favourite of all time.

Had the best experience here. Food was delicious, staff was a dream. Would 10/10 recommend going here when in the neighborhood. Hopefully coming back here again soon. When visiting try CROQUETA DE JAMÓN CON MAYONESA TRUFADA and the albondigas. Those were phenomenal. 2 points for improvements would be to check the toilet paper, this was empty for the time were were there. Toilets were very accessible for everyone though. The second point would be the aircon, this was pointed at the table which was unpleasant for some of the group. Overall though best experience and would recommend going here.

Good food and service. Definitely a solid choice to eat. Staff was more than helpful to explain the menu and all the good tasted good.

Lovely tapas and place bit small so you need to book a table or be lucky. Otherwise recomending also black rice really good.

Lovely food, especially the spinach lasagne. Delicious cocktails. Easy to book online even on the same day. Patient with our very limited Spanish! Talia made us feel especially welcome, very friendly and funny. Mario looked after us so well throughout the evening. Super quick service, accommodating and friendly; would recommend.

Food was not good at all, don't know who wrote all these reviews, sweet potatoes were average, chicken nuggets with no taste, fish with tomato sauce from a can, pale in taste, fried chips was not eatable (how can you go wrong with french fries), the waiter did throw it in the garbage because it was garbage and lasagne with no salt and burned cheese, the service was better than the food, we were very disappointed because we thought we will go and eat delicious food but it was not, the price is also expensive although google said not expensive. The menu was a joke (only 4 main dishes?).

This place is hip, trendy and cheap! Me and my boyfriend really had a good meal here for a low price. The food was amazing and we even received an additional alcoholic beverage afterwards. We had a great night, cinco stars.

Good place in a great location. The service was very fast and friendly. For my taste the food was ok. Nothing exciting, just simple dishes.

To be honest: Based on the very positive reviews here, we went there, sit outside and got served fairly mediocre dishes in a not so nice environment. Of course they spoke English and have been all for internationalization (menu is available in like 15 languages). The dishes were fairly simple and tasted like pre-prepared. When sitting. Outside, all the people walking through the street almost touch your table. Well, you’re sitting in there way somehow. … All in all I must say that this restaurant wouldn’t be a recommendation from my end, as many upsetting pieces come together here.

The food wasn't good. Patatas were stale and the salsa was very watery. The other potato fish we ordered has the same issue, the potatoes were stale. The meatballs were interesting but very salty. Our server was great and the vibe was good, but I would not eat here again.

Very nice and colourful place. Great food with quick and attentive service. The inside and outside seating is nice. The tasting platters are a great way to try and experience what Valencia and the restaurant have to offer. Some.of the stuff discovered is easier to make than expected + overall pricing can be better in other locations.

Very warm and cozy place with delicious food. Very friendly and pleasant waiters. Also, I was impressed by the fast service, which is rare in Valencia.

Excellent service, nice atmosphere and good food. We had the Actors menu. Highlight was the amazing Valencia orange cake. Inside looks very nice, but we sat outside. Tables are small but it works perfectly well, and there's a buzzy atmosphere inside and out.

A very nice experience, with amazing "charcuterie" plate, the waitress (Kalit) was very professional and friendly, she gave us recommendations about what to taste for our first dinner in Valencia!

Great food, restaurant and staff! Had to order everything glutenfree as my friend has allergies, but the waitress saw I couldn't get the glutenfree bread down, so she came over and gave me some regular bread. Amazing! Fast service, what you cant finish you can take home.

Have the tasting menu and also the green white wine - you won’t regret it. Amazing service, amazing food, amazing value and amazing location. LOVED IT hence we have been back. :-)

Carr1244 (0 review) I have never left a review, ever, but this experience was so bad I had to. We each ordered the lasagne. It was a quiet night and we could hear the microwave in action several times and 'pinging' to alert staff that the food was finished. The lasagne came out and it was extremely chewy, while the cheese was very dry. It had clearly been microwaved (and that was without hearing the microwave repeatedly while waiting for it). We barely ate a few spoonfuls each. We had the old style bravas too as they were apparently very good, but these were also below average. There was a lot of water in the bottom of the bowl, some of them were cold and the bravas 'sauce' was merely tomato puree. At no point were we asked how our meal was. When the girl took our plates away she scraped our food into the bin right in front of us, in the middle of the restaurant. Why this wasn't scraped into a bin in the kitchen, and why they felt this was OK, is beyond me. The best part of the night was the mocktail we each got that cost a whopping €8 each, ridiculous. We eat out on average 2 or 3 times a week as it's our favourite thing to do. As I said, we've never left a review, but this experience was so utterly terrible we felt we had no option but to leave one.

Amazing food, great service, extremely well priced, online menu easily attainable, especially if not Spanish! Real traditional Spanish food

El Camerino is a small restaurant with good quality food. The small size means high quality and attentive service. In other words, customer care is a top priority. We had the: - GREAT ARTIST SALAD & BRAVAS "OLD STYLE" - which was very delicious. Then the: HAM CROQUETTES WITH TRUFFLED MAYONNAISE - which to us had a rather strange taste compared to other croquettes de jamon we have tried. Finally, the: CHICKEN STICKERS WITH SWEET CHILI SAUCE - this classic was amazing and rich in taste. A plus is the location of the restaurant which is in the cozy part of Ruzafa. After eating, there are plenty of opportunities for a walk in the area.

Whatever you do don't choose any of the menu suggestions. The food you will get is very disappointing. We started with a lemon salad, cold croquettes, some bread and and a hardly melted camembert. After that we got death on a plate aka a load full of fat with some meat hidden inside and a shrimp egg salad all of us were afraid to touch because of the smell. Everything was microwaved. We were actually looking for a paella restaurant near our hotel and this is what google came up with😭. It looked like only the tourists were suggested to take the menu, because we were all hidden behind a curtain next to the toilettes where men were taking their time to visit the women's bathroom. We imagined our last night in Valencia would finish on a high not with a deception but the staff was friendly and helpful so tge star I gave is for them, not the food.

We went there on a Monday evening to get some food. The menu looked promising and we spotted some vegetarian options which is a requirement. In the restaurant I personally had the ribs which were awesome. Also the lasagna, the califlower and the sweet potato slices were nice but what was most impressive was the sauce/dip for all the dishes. On combination with the nice drinks, please try out some cocktails, we would highly recommend this place. It is a bit smaller and there is not so much space, but this wouldn't be the highest requirement for me to make a good restaurant. The staff was really professional and nice and spoke English quite well. One thing to improve might be to clearly mark the vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Very nice restaurant close in a nice neigbourhoud. I totally loved the colourfull and playful interior. The food was mouthwatering good we took 6 different tapas and were totally full, the portions were enough! Would totally go back there!

Unique place and incredible food! Service is super attentive and nice, even though we don't speak Spanish. We had the menú actor, which was more than enough for my boyfriend and I. I can totally recommend every one to come here to enjoy Spanish food.
