Cliff house is in a remote village of Apolong, Valencia Negros Oriental. 1hr walk down into Valencia town proper. Going back up to the house I would highly recommend a tricycle ride unless you are a super fit. Tricycle ride cost around 100.00-120.00 piso as not many drivers willing to drive up the hill unless their trike is 155cc or above. Cooler temperatures and quieter area than in a town or city whichever you prefer. There are more westerners living in this area. Safe and peaceful with a pleasant neighbourhood's. Cafes or bistros are in Valencia Plaza area, which become lively at night.

The place is so amazing and cute for lovers. It's a little safe haven with full of flowers and cool wind.

This place is great! We stayed in the small apartment on-site that is for rent on Airbnb - very nice, clean, and comfortable. Every day we ate the tasty, huge food offerings... mmmmm... and enjoyed the spectacular views of the mountains and gorge. Did some easy hiking in the area. It's at 1200 feet elevation - cooler, breezy, sometimes misty, almost a cloud forest. The owner and staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. Even got us an incredible chocolate birthday cake. In fact, everyone around was super nice. It was neat watching all the satisfied restaurant customers come and go. The dogs are fun too. There are a few sari sari stores nearby, some other food options too. Casaroro Falls is a 20-30 minute walk uphill... or 5 minutes by car, trike, or moto. Fare down to Valencia is 100 for a trike, 50 for habal habal. Sometimes they get busy... especially weekends... patience might be required - or reservations. Still, don't miss this unique and beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the restaurant shut down but I stayed as a long term guest at one of their apartments via airbnb. It was by far the most amazing experience! There’s lots to do in the area, the neighbors are all amazing as well. The views and landscapes are incredible and Jenny the host was so accomodating and gave me tips where to go. You even have your own kitchen with a very large fridge and well maintained stove and kitchen gadgets. They have a separate washing room and enough space to hang your clothes outside your apartment. Also they have super good wifi. It is very important to have your own motorbike if you wanna stay here. Habal habal from the Valencia market would be your only alternative if you choose to commute. overall a perfect place for long term rentals and people who wanna live away from the city.

The place is very much around nature with mountain view and sound of river. There is a swing by which you can experience your adrenaline rush. The food taste exquisitely good which you can choose from their menu. If you want to experience Cliffe House dining, you should call them in advance to have a reservation. Enjoy!

Staff is accomodating. Very good place to unwind and have a quiet moment. Nature is refreshing. View is great. We ordered food from adjacent restaurant and have it delivered in the Cliff House where we ate dinner.

BLUF: One table, unassuming menu. PRO: IF you get the one-and-only table with a view then it is a five star view. CON: If someone-else gets the one-and-only table with a view expect to leave or have an extensive wait for THE table. Unassuming menu.

If you came here because of the pictures…then DON’T. It’s really not worth it. First the place is smaller than it looks and aside from the treehouse the place is almost bare minimum. The food wasn’t bad and the staff was helpful enough. But that’s about it. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a small hidden gem that allows you to dine next to incredible vistas. Oh did I mention their food is excellent with a menu that has something for everyone. This restaurant has a special table that is suspended out over the cliff but if you want it for dining be sure to contact them via their Facebook page for reservations. We intend to go back and get that table next time.

The place is a little intimate, but the view is great. Can great crowded sometimes for those wanting to take pics of the cottage perched on a cliff. The food is good, prices are okay. Very nice staff. But do remember you need a ride to get there.

Beautiful view and good food. If you are in the area make a point to visit this place you will not be disappointed. You may have to wait a while for your food but the view is worth the wait.

The place was picturesque. Very refreshing and relaxing. Definitely a good place to drink coffee and chill (and take photos for IG lol). Kudos to the owner and staff. They were very accommodating, especially Coco haha. The food were good too. Very recommendable!

Food is amazing! Servings are good. The manager takes care of all the customers while the owner cooks almost every order that you make. That ambiance of the place is good. Nice to relax and to free yourself from a stressful and fast paced life. However, the signage of the place cannot be noticed easily so you have to read every signs in the road.

Its a relatively small space but its great for taking photos!
