Non binary people are not welcome. Food is great, wine was also spectacular. Same as service for the first 15 minutes. As soon as bartender felt that he can get better tip from other client, binary, clients were left in the dark. We felt ashamed and unworthy. If you like good food — it’s the place to go. If you like to feel like rag — it’s the good place to go. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spain has beer wonderfully hospitable for us but here I felt like commodity. Be aware! Service is super rude. He served me double vermouth when I went to the desk and I asked about check. In the meantime whmhe talked with other guest and didn’t bother to fulfill our rowdiest P.S it’s super expensive for what they charge

Love this place! A hidden gem! But don’t forget to reserve. Ordered the tomato with shrimps, avocado and mango. Heaven. The service is great. Super friendly and helpful. And we had the best desert wine ever with our custard: les érables. Went there two nights while staying in Valencia and are for sure coming back the next time.

Excellent experience we have in this ancient 'taberna', traditiona Valencia food with a bit of imagination. Tasty sardine toast with 'titaina', good fried mushrooms, excellent 'figatell'.....and original desserts. Remarkable list wine, not only from Valencia, but many of the appellation of origin of Spain. So, a good experience for a correct price.

Perfect place for dinner, especially after enjoying the flamenco performance of Palosanto. We were so excited at that time, and were so eager and hungry to grab some food. Although it seemed quite full, the nice and lovely waitress still found a place for us, for which we were so grateful. The food is fantastic! Incredible flavor! Cozy vibe! I can’t love it more!

Still very good however not as amazing as last time. Were charged for two bravas incorrectly on the bill so they did take it off. Bravas needed a bit more sauce, however cooked well. Dirty cuttlefish not the best, sweet breads were very good. Also quite expensive for the area and compared to other bodegas. Spent over 100 euros for dinner for two.

Excellent food - so fresh and tasty! Must try the tomato steak which was so juicy and flavourful. The sangria jug is super value for money and quite refreshing.

It was my best meal in my summer vacation surprisingly. I love everything of Anyora. Seems like a trattoria, but it's definitely beyond that. From the decorations to the menu, you can tell the owner really pay attention to all the details. It's a tribute to the tradition and history, meanwhile it's a place full of innovation spirit. As a Chinese surely I'm a meat lover, the pork snout I ordered with smoked eel, such dulcet combination, heaven! I can't enjoy more, I had wonderful time in Anyora!

Super nice little place where you can also eat before 8 pm when the normal menu becomes available because they have a special late afternoon menu that is also really nice (broccoli tempura with delicious hazelnut (?) dip!). So great for an earlier dinner and of course wine, which was superb. Also the very nice waiter was great.

We enjoyed this Cabanyal neighborhood restaurant for dinner last night. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and enjoyed delicious food. My husband had the boquerones fritos and they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside - just right! My grilled tuna was succulent and flavorful in a piquant tomato sauce. GREAT bread! Good pour of wine, spotless and nicely decorated. An 'A++' experience. Thanks, everyone!

Food was amazing here. Staff was friendly and quick to serve. We tried a variety of tapas and all were absolutely delicious. If you are in Valencia, definitely worth a stop.

A tiny hole-in-the-wall place, servicing up really tasty dishes. If you show up here and want to sit in the main part of the restaurant (where the action is) make sure you reserve a table. The staff is super friendly and helped us despite just dropping in. Try the dirty octopus (if in season) it is the star of the show. Would def. Come back again if In the neighbourhood

Had a quick dinner here and was really impressed with the tomato steak. Fresh ingredients in a strange yet very good combination 👍🏼

With a tail to snout philosophy you will find some delcious and unusual cuts of meat here that are cooked with care and skill. Part of my lunch menu ( The 17 Euro lunch menu is amazing value though I chose to pay a supplement for the special tuna dish) was a grilled pigs ear served on " smoked" potatoes that really hit the mark. One of the servers( lovely people who really understand the menu ) swears by the snout with smoked eel. My main was another unusual cut , a tuna" collar" from close to the gills that really looked and ate more like a cross between a bone marrow and grilled pork chop. This is an incredibly rich piece of fish and far different than the usual tuna " steaks" which are slapped on the grill for a few seconds and served red raw in the middle, well worth the extra supplement. On the whole I think my favourite were the fried anchovies simply served with lemon and salt. I am not a fan of the canned variety but try an anchovy fresh out of the water and you have something completely different.. yummy. I only managed half the desert after such heroric eating ( my first course was the croquette of the day) so this was a lot of food.... The wines are Valencian of the " bio" variety . I generally dislike bio wines but I was able to find a couple that drank well enough .The bobal and the white , I dont remember the varietal , I tried were ok. The grenach and the tempranillo were better. They are kind enough to let you try before you buy so I waved off the rose which I found particularly nasty in that vegetal bio sort of way. For what it's worth to the management , I always think it's a good idea to offer up some traditional wines for those of us who prefer them so you might consider it. I personally am not afraid of a little sulphite and there are so many really excellent Valencian wines out there that don't fit the bio profile that would go so well with the food you serve. This was a very enjoyable solo lunch sitting at the bar which is a lot of fun if you happen to be travelling alone.. Make a reservation!

Great little place. Probably the best tinto de verano I've had so far. Our charcuterie was delicious as well.

Great tapas place with good options and nice sangria. However, they ran out of the croquettes we ordered and didn't tell us until we mentioned that they were missing. By this point we had finished most of the rest of our meal and didn't fancy ordering anything else to replace it. Other than this issue, had a wonderful time

Food was very good and our waitress was nice! It gets busy in the evenings so I would recommend booking ahead

Very nice place, cosy but vibrant at the same time! Tried the fried boquerones, the small mussels and the tomato steak, all perfectly cooked and so delicious! Also, loved the bread with olive oil! Everything served in a quick and friendly manner!

We've been there for a late lunch, round 4pm (compared to spanish habits it was not so late). So we had room to sit. Menu for those kind of late lunch has many constraints compared to normal lunch or dinner, but there still is plenty of choices. Service was fast and efficient, and tapas really fine. You can see that on pics below ! Special mention to "croquetas". Atmosphere is nice, you really feel in another place compared to other fancy restaurants.

We asked for something traditional and they offered us 4 tapas (forgot to take pics for the rest; octopus and fried small fish). I think the tomato one it’s the best of all. The rest were not really our favorite as they were kinda fat, but they taste good; it’s just that we usually try to eat more healthy (it was fried in oil and flour). We were 3 (2 adults and a 3 years old kid). Was more than enough.

Such an amazing and tasty place! It was nice that that have a daily menu so we were able to try a lot of dishes. Love the design!

Locals recommending local places will always be the top choice, every time. We loved our experience here. Everything on the menu was foreign to us and we had a blast with it! Regional dishes and items that are clearly specific to Valencia. Though the service was sparse, it was no trouble at all. The fish and meats melted in your mouth. Make a reservation and be adventurous with your ordering!

This is one of my favourite tavernas in Valencia. I try to have something different every time I go there. They have a small enough menu but very diverse. From the very traditional organ meat plates (like morro, cayos), to the classic tapas (bravas, boquerones, croquetas etc), to the best tomato salad or smoked eel. Portions are quite generous. They have an excellent selection of wine and local drinks. You might wanna try their “vermut”, a local specialty. The service is not the warmest or most attentive, so be a little patient.

Beautiful food in a little cozy atmosphere. The tuna steak dish was a wonderful surprise. The beef skewer was tender. For lunch it a bit pricey.

Nice cozy place in the neighborhoods that deserves some attention. I have ordered the octopus and my wife had the red tuna. For desert we ordered flan. Also we had some cheese and meat as snacks. I would recommend this place for sure. And also try the vermouth de la casa!

Another little gem of a restaurant. The food here was unlike anything i've ever tried before. Staff were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. Cosy and only a stone's throw away from local amenities and the beach
