The BEST restaurant I’ve been to in Bari. They have loads of gluten free and lactose free options (not that I went for those). We had the spaghettini with seafood and the lobster tagliatini. The seafood one was good, but the lobster one was INSANE. SO incredibly good and only €18 which for fresh pasta and fresh lobster is just unheard of? It HD a rich tomato and seafood sauce and half a lobster with perfectly cooked fresh pasta. I could legit eat that dish every week and not get sick of it. The tiramisu and cheesecake were also very good.

Nice restaurant, pretty big, with gluten free pizza and other gluten free choices. I had here my first gluten free pizza: it was very good, better than expected. My friends had the fried sea food, which was very very tasty and the other had pasta, also very good.

Stinco di maiale (pork shank). The best I've ever eaten (I grew up in the upper midwest USA). Bring your appetite for this dish. There was about a pound (.5kg) of meat on my shank. Delicious spumante ice cream, too. Great service, upscale atmosphere but friendly. 🙂

The food quality is less than average. The style of the restorant is nothing special. Satisfactory pizza, poor quality of octopus, average frutty di mare. I do not recomend, if you want to eat tasty food in nice atmosphera

I find this restaurant to be overrated. I had dinner and didn’t think it was anything special, rather average food (on top the tomatoes on the salad weren’t fresh). The service was good, very nice personnel. The hygiene of the local was not, I sat in a table where the wall and glass was all splashed of food, I was not comfortable with it. I wouldn’t return.

Fabulous, gluten free pasta. Homemade! If you're gluten intolerant, but you still want a taste of Italia, this is your place. On top of that, the wait staff is super friendly! And quite a few gluten free beer options!

Very attentive staff. The selection of foods is vast and all the ones we tried were of excellent quality. There is a very interesting wine selection. The fillet was cooked to perfection. The antipasti are various, with a range of sea and earth products. To top it off, pricing is really quite reasonable. We spent around 25 euro a head for essentially a 3 course meal with a plethora of antipasti and all of superb quality. Only flaw is that in can be quite crowded, but this comes as no surprise given the quality of the product and the price.

Great pizzas with quality toppings. What made these pizzas different was the focus premium toppings, I love a good crust but this pizza was well balanced and allowed the toppings to sing. Aperol spritz were great. Our server offered chips with our cocktails which ended up not being gratis or included with the cover charge which I generally do not like. The chips were however of high quality and perfectly salted.

We had such a lovely meal here. I am gluten and lactose intolerant, and it was so wonderful to have so many options to choose from for my meal. The restaurant is a member of the Italian Coeliac society. We visited from Australia and the waitress was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend this restaurant high enough if you have genuine food allergies.

Interesting experience. The food was good. We had orecchiette and spaghetti 🍝. Orecchiette with meat were good but the spaghetti were a little bit "burned". For a dessert we tried tiramisu (good choice) and a cheesecake which felt like it was not made in house but bought in a local grocery store. Glass of house wine is also a good choice 👍

The restaurant is great, it was extremely clean. We went on the recommendation of friends and were fascinated, the owner welcomed us, extremely gracious and hospitable. He advised us on the menu when we asked him something. The pizza, which is gluten-free, has a great dough and the pasta, everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. He offered us a wine that was from the region. The message came to us very quickly, there were six of us and all of them almost at once. We were at a time when the restaurant should be resting and not working, but he still received us and fed us with delicious food. Thank you, when we are again in Bari, we will definitely see each other. Keep working like this for the sake of the customer.!!!

One of, if not the best best meal I had in Bari with my mum. The pasta tasted fresh and was well seasoned. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. The swordfish was just OK. I would happily return here to try more dishes

Average taste and portions but for a relatively high price. Bad communication because they didn't speak English well.

Our favorite restaurant in Bari. We have been 3 times in it and everything was perfect. Tasty pizzas, vegetarian options (gluten free), nice selection of wine and very friendly staff. A true Italian experience.

Amazing! Great options for glutenfree menus: pasta (even Orecchiette), fantastic pizza, cakes,.. . On top a lovely team! :-)

Great place with Italian food🍝 🍕What was most important for me - gluten free options, what was basically almost impossible to find in Bari. Very friendly staff. Always free table even though we never had any reservation. Pretty close to the city centre. Can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a restaurant with gluten free food!

Dissapointment! Pasta is not homemade. The spaghetti "rich" in seafood had 1 small shrimp and 4 mussels. Pizza also not so tasty. We expected something better:(

Yummy Gluten free food. Pizzas are delicious and the pasta is very good cooked. I recommend this place. Waiters are great.

The worst place to go in Bari!!! We have had very negative experience there: bad food, terrible service, etc. It literally took hour and a half for our food to get served (just a pasta). Absolutely the worst customer service: the manager is disrespectful, not customer oriented, in a few words: a money maker, who does not know how to run a hospitality business . Strongly recommend to avoid going to this place in case you want to keep enjoying your holiday. I am waiting for the manager's disrespectful comment below. lol.

Wonderful experience at Al Raffaello. Great gluten free and lactose free dishes, even the sweets. After the great home made tortilli , we ate exquisite swordfish and meat, and then I couldn't resist the pistachio cheesecake. Great food indeed, topped up with excellent service. Thank you :) And we simply had to come back the food is sooo good. Gluten free pizza is the best we have ever tasted - the dough was so light and good. And the tonno with pistachio was exquisitely cooked. Well done 👏👏👏👏

I loved the spaghetti a l'assassina! It is not super spicy so don't be afraid if you are not into spicy food. The portions are ok. I did not love the torta di ricotta but it was ok. Very nice staff too.

best ever gluten free pizza (congrats!) with an option for marinara (vegan) good prices and very nice stuff. The owner cares for his guests very nicely. I wish there could be vegan cheese option for the pizza!

Very good food, also gluten free - a must-visit for all coeliacs! Nice service, fair prices. And the wine was SO GOOD! Perfect dinner!

After a beautiful day spent in Bari me, my husband and other 2 friends wanted to share 2 pizza. We wasn't very hungry so we decided that 2 pizza is enough and a bottle of water. The owner didnt wanted to serve us unless we order all something. He was very rude and disrespectful. We decided to leave the restaurant!

👍👍 Italian cuisine is amazing, and of course La Cantina dello Zio is not an exception. The food is delicious, I have no words to describe it. An amazing experience from all points of view. We had octopus - very fresh and tasty, also pastas and deserts. Don’t forget the house wine. Very good. Everything...
