This is by far the best bakery I have ever had. It located next to our b&b so our two days breakfast was with Ancestra. Is my top list of bakery for now and I believed Ancestra will hole the position of one of my top list in life. When you visiting the town, don’t missed it. I meant it.

Nice small bakery, which apart from breads and pastry, has some cheese and other similar items on the menu. We tried only cake and French style pastry, both were very good indeed. Sadly, there is nothing to drink to go with it on offer. Prices are above average

This newly opened bakery is a MUST go to when in Valladolid. We had the absolutely most incredibly delicious warm, freshly baked pastries here 😍. Their chocolate croissants were out of this world and perfectly done- perfectly crispy with an incredible chocolate center. We also loved the gold leaf decoration on top 🥰. We also got to try the slice of lemon cake which was incredible. We will probably be coming back here every day of our stay and be dreaming of this bakery after we leave. The owner came out to greet us, and told us telling us the bakery just opened and talked with us a bit. The staff was so nice and the prices were very reasonable. I hope this bakery becomes an instant success with lines out they door because they deserve it with how thoughtful and delicious their pastries are. Gracias Ancestra!

I'm a food snob from the U.S and im here to say this place has AMAZING BREADS! Best croissant I've ever had outside of Paris. Super buttery, flaky, airy. Perfection. Coffee is good too. Hope they will add oat milk option. Nice kombucha selection. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Go early for best selection.

ANCESTRA is a true jewel not only for Valladolid, but for the whole of Yucatan. We are lovers of bakeries, and research them around the world, and I have to say that the tastes, textures and quality that Mateo uses for his bread and pastries is exceptional. Here one can find the true art of baking according to tradition but also according to innovative ideas and experimental techniques for using endemic flours, sourdough, 72 hour levitation and more. We had the best croissants and pain au chocolat in the whole of Yucatan! And excellent coffee!

Is a delightful bakery. Food is great and fresh. They have plenty of good options and is definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys tasty baking. The picture is an alfajor in the form of a ghost. Prices are good too. Definitely recommended!
