I went here to buy groceries to cook for my son birthday. I noticed several jars of oysters were expired 5 days old and they were still selling to unexpected buyers unaware of the date. I brought one of the oysters jar to the employee working at the glass counter, she took the jar and placed it under the table without saying anything. As I went back to retrieve other groceries, I saw another sales person and told her about the expired oysters. She looked at me and said ok, slowly walked away as though she didn't want to be bothered.

This place feels like your back to Philippines again. The music they play all day is OPM ❤️(original pinoy music 🥰) everyone is nice 🥰 my go to supermarket ✌️

The people here are extremely friendly and kind. I did not actually go into the market I went to the little restaurant inside. But none the less even just walking in to the market I felt like I was walking into a family market and everyone was kind.. and the service was fast food was amazing

Stepping into this "Super-Store" is better than ANY 5 smaller stores in most towns and cities. Complete with 2 restaurants inside, this place LITERALLY has it ALL! Need a full-fledged meat dept? Here. Need a seafood dept? Here. Need a vegetable section with a selection you can't find outside of Chinatown? HERE!! Rices, noodles, sauces, snack foods, sodas...Here!! I went in on a humbug, because I didn't believe the hype, and now I'm a believer. I purchased beef liver with blood, a solid 4lbs of pork belly, salmon, chicken liver/hearts/gizzards/, Lay's potato chips in flavors you can't find outside of the internet, sauces for dishes I'll both learn to prepare and have prepared, rice noodles in 10lb bags, 1dz duck eggs, and 8 bags/boxes of various snack cakes and items I can't pronounce. Why? Because I can't get them at the stores in my hometown of Chico. Pictures are hard to come by, due to the employees both not wanting to be in them, AND it's not allowed in the store. Just GO IN ONCE...that's all it will take, trust me. You don't have to be Asian to both shop here or enjoy an experience like this. Go with the flow and let THIS wash over you.

I live close by Seafood city and I like to shop here but some of the employees are rude and disrespectful. I am a brown skin female and I don’t know why but I’ve been accused of stealing and I’ve been ignored when at the meat department. Smh 🤦‍♀️ but I’m still shopping here because I’m not going to Walmart so hopefully they will work on being more open minded and mindful that they are in America 🇺🇸 and we all have freedom to shop wherever we please , so be kind and helpful to all no matter the skin color …. so we can all eat good and enjoy life . 😁

Outstanding!!! All your asian food needs are here plus they'll season and fry your fish after you have them clean it for you.

standard Filipino orientated grocery store. What gives it an extra star rating is that the plaza it's located in is a community and all the store owners look out for one another.

Very poor rating, You have to wait for a very long time for a cart, there is always no cart available inside. Its very annoying to shop around carrying all your groceries by the hand. You cant even buy what you need to buy because you have a very limited space in the hand carry basket. The management have to do something about this.

Some wild ocean fish from Mexico great price...lots of vegetables that's healthy for the body.

I got my fish fried and it was burnt. , didnt noticed it until i got home, i should have checked it first before leaving. They usually are okay. Maybe a 1 time incident. Still a great place to go. Lots of options. Friendly staff.

I absolutely love this place for its incredible variety of fresh fish, vegetables, and fruits! The convenience of having small shops right at the store entrance where you can buy delicious fried fish, meat, boba teas, and fruit juice is a fantastic addition. The overall experience is simply delightful!

Truly a culinary/cultural gem. Never knew this place existed, but now I do and will be back often! Parking can be somewhat difficult during peak hours.

Not nearly as cheap as Asian markets in San Francisco. Many things more than Safeway. Good seafood selection. Probably the best market in Solano County.

Large selection of ethnic items that you're not likely to find in the larger grocery store outlets, which is a huge plus, especially if you're preparing authentic cuisine, which call for suchlike. Additionally, there's just a more unique and authentic energy or flare that's atypical from the ordinary grocery experience. On the flip side, however, your main staple items are extremely high priced, which understandably is likely due to being a small guy in the Industry and not privy to receiving the same bulk rate kickback as the corporate conglomerates, but still...#!?$*@! They're cool though!

Make sure you go when it's off peak because it gets crowded esp on weekends. I don't see them controlling in and out customer traffic and the grocery aisles tend to fill up.

Incredible selection of seafood, and items in general. Very clean and well lit with multiple food to go options onsite.

Jollie Bee put mayonnaise for a chicken sandwich. I love their sandwiches. There is no spicy chicken most of the time tho.

Seafood City is simply the GO-TO for making filipino food! I can spend all day here (and lots of money too LOL)! The meat department is the best especially! You can for example have your pork ribs cut into bite-sized riblets! I always have that done when I make my adobo! I even had my beef dino short ribs that I smoke in my Traeger cut in half for a more personal size when serving on your plate! So awesome! Ask for your needs and they will be happy to customize for you! Every department in this store from meat to produce to grocery and the deli..so clean and organized! Employees are the nicest! I love this place!

Outside of the store is TRASHY with litter everywhere!! That's why only 1 star!!!! Clean up the parking lot!!!! Inside the store was clean but crowded with long lines.

The supermarket has been my favorite shopping for fresh sea food until I moved to Oakland ten years ago. Last week on the way back from Fairfield, I stopped by to buy Philippine home made delicacies Hopia Baboy n other biscuits n was disappointed that they were too hard except one type was soft. Please remove them from the table. They are not good enough.

This was the former food max supermarket back in the day. It's your typical Filipino supermarket. It's got some age to it and you'll find most of what you need here. Place could use a decent clean up.
