We ordered the Al frutti Di mare. Although the pasta was cooked well and there was quite a lot of fish in the dish, it was the worst dish we had so far in Malta. The fish was poorly cleaned before cooking, resulting in a sandy bite. It was also quite overcooked. When mentioning this to the Staff, they completely ignored our comment. Above all, the staff was really unfriendly, which made the whole experience even WORSE. Won't be coming back here for sure.

The quality of the food for the price is questionable. You do receive a good portion size but that doesn't cover up the slow ticket time, lack of flavor, and unattentative service(even through a European lens). The location of the restaurant is superb and if the food matched this would be a 5 star rating. The bragioli (local dish) was insanely dry and the side salad next to it was a joke. If you are going to serve a namesake dish at least do it the honor of preparing it well. The other food was average or worse.

The negative reviews are noted. Must be said we didn’t have any food. But 2-1 cocktails and wine cannot be sniffed at. A lovely setting and relaxed place to have a drink. Had a couple Aperol and a couple white wine €10.90 in total (happy hour). Coming from west london I could’ve stayed here all night. Staff were friendly.

It didn't meet my expectations, the pizza with mushroom seems watery on top, the pasta was bland. It is located in a busy area opposite to St. John Cathedral, the place too noisy with loud music from 2 other restaurants. I only enjoyed the prosecco.

AVOID! Overpriced tourist trap with bad service.

What is better than placing your Sunday lunch order to the chimes of the bells of the majestic co-cathedral in Valletta? And what a greater lunch experience it was! The service was so efficient and quick and my husband and I were not the only people at the tables. My husband had penne all'arrabbiata; nicely hot - too much for me but just perfect for him. I had a ceasar salad with a first in getting also 2rounds of garlic bread and 2grissini in the plate. The amount of greens was fresh, mixed and bountiful and there was a lot of chicken, bacon and parmesan in generous thickness. We were surprised to be offered coffee or limoncello after our meals...wow! Some restaurants don't even offer this after three full courses with wine !!!! Not just this; I asked the lady offering us the afterdrinks if she had an Elastoplast to cover a burst blister from my shoe. This was Antoinette - the restaurant manager - who was so understanding and prompt in reverting with not just one but two plasters. It was so nice of her and she got so shy to tell us her name! A good word where it properly ought to be. Will defo return. Well done team.

(This doesn’t even deserve one star) Not sure where to begin: staff was extremely unfriendly, hair in our food, after complaining about our food being completely bland and tasteless all we got was a disinterested “okay”. Awesome choice for someone who wants to have a bad experience. (btw: try avoiding the restrooms <3)

I've been living in Malta for three years now and hands down this was the worst restaurant ever. Not only worst restaurant, but worst Malta experience ever. Even worst than dealing with ID Malta. I ordered the funghi pizza or should I rather call it mozzarella and mushroom on cardboard. Super bland and dry. My poor wife's pasta was floating in oil. What a waste!!!

Only had drinks which came not cold enough and overpriced. Staff seemed miserable and uninterested. Shame for the good location they have…

Gorgeous food. Great service and wonderful experience. One of our meals came a little late, but it was delicious so we didn’t mind. Very reasonable also considering the location.

On the main square of Valletta, easy to find it and worth to eat here! Kind waiters, delicious, finger-licking foods, huge portions. Gratis starters and coffee.

Visited this cafe this afternoon, service was good and friendly, we ordered a pizza to share which was just ok, nothing special, we then asked for toilet, when we got there we were horrified, see picture, we complained to staff who seemed not to bothered, it looked like it had been there for weeks and probably will be for weeks more, nothing special
