Super cool room, super cool foyer. But lot of cockroaches outside the rooms

Pretty large hostel. Lots of common spaces. Breakfast is extra but never got to try it. Great location not far away from town center. There's a good coffee shop attached to the hostel.

Nothing special. Good location. Recommend staying at the hostel next door. It was nicer and had a much better vibe.

We didn't stay in the hotel, but their reception desk person was very nice and provided very helpful formation for our walking tour around Valparaiso. We were traveling with 2 kids. Thank you! And the cafe downstairs is great, kids enjoyed their Menu a Dia

My friend booked on hostel world only to arrive at 9PM and be told his reservation was a mistake in hostel world and they didn't have space for him. They told me when I checked in that they had overbooked and that was 5 hours before he got there, but they never emailed to tell him. I had booked a private and told him he could stay with me, but they told us that we had to pay more and they were doing us a favor letting him stay because it wasn't their fault it was hostel world. I understand stuff happens, but they had his contact information and easily could have gave him a heads up and I didn't like the way they handled it all. This is also a horrible hostel to work from. I was working from the common area next to the kitchen and in the afternoon all of the staff came to sit in the kitchen and were extremely loud, yelling and such. I know that is part of the latin culture, but when you see a few people working from their laptops and on the phone, you would think there would be more consideration, especially from staff. Apart from that it is a decent hostel. Nice location and mostly clean facilities. The cafe in the first floor is a nice added bonus.

Friendly staff, great location. Very dated private rooms, lacking basics utensils in the kitchen. Incredibly noisy and the “quiet time” doesn’t start until 01:00-07:00am

A great hostel right in the heart of Cerro Alegre. Everywhere can be explored by foot from here. It felt safe and the hostel itself has a lovely feel as it has a cafe and a bar downstairs. We had a private room right on the top floor with no noise.

Casa Volante is a lovely hostel with an amazing staff. It’s super clean, friendly, spacious and lively. I spent 2 days here and had a good time. Shout out to the staff for being to friendly and helpful. Looking forward to come back! ❤️

A nice hostel and bar, I spent a few days in here. Multiple common rooms allow you to easily exchange with other guest, many of the staff also work as guide for walking tour and are very friendly. The kitchen is nice, but the area to eat is a bit small.

I stayed in a private room for 3 nights. I have absolutely no complaints. The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and the bathrooms are clean. Also the breakfast was good.
