    I booked same day and got a pretty good deal or so I thought. I have stayed in multiple hotels in the area for around the same price and this was the worst one. First off, the staff or guy checking me in was kind of rude but we got through it. The room was kind of clean but could have been cleaner. There were no face cloths in the room only big towels. I went to get some but witnessed the check in guy being rude to another customer about the same issue so I didn't confront him to avoid the same treatment. The pool was murky and looked nasty but my daughter wanted to swim so we did it. It was okay I guess. Breakfast buffet was not a buffet just stale cereal, old fruit and a waffle maker with syrup. No hot options like the other hotels in the area. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. If you are in the area, there are better options.

    Sorry but I need to edit my review. I depend heavily on reviews when making choices of where to eat and stay, etc. Sam was very helpful and nice but he was pushing those of us checking in to do a review at check-in. This makes no sense. How can we give accurate reviews at check-in? Unless a person like myself takes the time or has the knowledge that they can edit their review then it will not be accurate. The room was very nice, except one of the sheets had a stain so a new sheet was provided. While changing the sheet we noticed that it was not a stain that didn't come out during washing but that it was never changed. The stain when through to the mattress pad. That mattress pad had many other stains like it was not washed frequently, especially when the housekeeper noticed a stain. Harry was the housekeeper for our room and it appears he just made the bed after the previous stay. Also, one of the lamps didn't work and one of the lamps on the nightstand barely gave off any light, like the bulb was going out. This should have been noticed by Harry and been resolved prior to assigning the room to a guest. We would have went to another hotel if it wasn't so late in the evening and we were only staying overnight to catch a flight the next day. There was no Iron or ironing board in the room but Sam provided them, which we appreciated. At 10:50AM we received a knock on the door asking if we are checking out. It was as if we should have checked out already. We were gathering our final items a that time. Checkout is at 11:00AM. I have never, in my decades of traveling, had this happen. Breakfast was a joke. I will give some benefit of doubt since I came down at 8AM (breakfast is 6-9AM) that some items were eaten up but there was nothing in the refrigerator, not even empty containers, for hard boiled eggs, butter, etc. The pastry rack didn't even have a crumb on it. The pancake batter was as if someone added water to the mix. There was just enough to fill the cup and when the waffle was finished cooking it was only half there due to the batter being so thin. Again, no butter as well. There was cereal but not much. I only saw half & half creamer for coffee but I was told there was one other flavor. I didn't see it. Other hotels, including the Baymont we stayed at in Ohio offered several flavors. The hotel is nice, seems to be remodeled not long ago, but with the management and how cheaply it is being run I see it being less than desirable within 3 years, sad to say.

    Sam at the desk was extremely helpful and friendly. We parked here for the airport and it was very convenient and a great price. Myles was a great driver and getting picked up after we got our bags was very convenient. Will definitely use the parking and shuttle service for the airport again!

    There's a pretty nice stay here and the person at the front desk named Sam was just fantastic. The room would not get cold enough. The table and chair were sticky. The bedsprings were badly stained.

    We came here on Wednesday 2-2-24 and had our reservation till check out on € Saturday 2-3-2024. And we loved it so much here that we decided to book a couple nights here instead checking and drive to a different hotel we were going to stay at. All the staff we've met so far here are very helpful, and are welling to get you any needs they're able to provide for us to make our stay more relaxing that In a very long time it's been a relief staying at a hotel with a staff that's seems to love there job here. The front desk guys that been helping us during our stay was Sunny when we 1st check in was very helpful and answered all my questions, and the gentleman that's runs the front desk we met his name was PD who as well was so helpful and made sure to ask us if he can get us anything we may need for our room we Re staying in and was very helpful as well. It's has been a very long time to get a hotel room with the people that are here everyday at the front desk especially who actually gives you anything to make your stay less stressful or being uncomfortable with the people at the front desk at my past stays w/ different hotels the customer service was bad.. I never went back. But I'm glad I pick Baymont, in Belleville, Mi for me and my fiance to stay at! We are very happy and will be returning as much as possible for future hotel stays from now on! Thank you for everything PD, and Sunny who are the most helpful people I've met during our stay here! Because of both their services and being so helpful because of these hard working gentleman has made me become a returning customer from now when I make my hotel reservations from now on.

    Used this hotel for their car storage service and shuttle to store our car while we went on vacation. Will definitely use again. Shuttle services were prompt and easy to arrange. Shout out to Cliff and Steve, our drivers. Especially Steve, thanks for patiently waiting for us since we ended up waiting for him at the wrong pickup point (totally our fault.)

    I waited a while to change this to avoid any retaliation... Service here was okay. What was not okay was the associate seemingly withheld my room key until I made my first review (expectedly a 5 star), and didn't give me my card until I showed him. When I saw that associate again, he forcefully requested to see my review, and upon me showing him he grabbed my phone and changed all of the unmarked subsections to 5 stars as well. Absolutely unacceptable. All other associates and management were wonderful people. My room was superficially clean. Most things that were important for use were clean, like the blankets, pillows, fridge, etc. However, there were other things... I found a lot of food/candy wrappers and crumbs stuffed between the mattress and box spring. There was a large sticky spot on the floor that I believe was where soda was spilled. Since I was already unpacked when I found it and would only be there for a few days, I decided to accept it and just alert the management of what I found. Parking also got very difficult into the weekend. Regardless of the issues, it was an affordable room and good enough for what I needed.

    Sam and Sunny were excellent at their jobs at the front desk. We truly appreciated them and the owner/mgr when he came to our room to help with the TV issue we had. This place is very clean, good location, breakfast delicious. We will definitely stay here again. Parking, though - ugh. Needs to improve the amount of spaces (consider a parking garage?) and to paint handicap parking so easily identify. That was the only part we really didn't like one bit - full parking lot and I'm handicapped so easy spots for me were hit or miss.

    Sam and Clifford attended to me pretty quick, smooth check in process for my car parking. Glad with the service, 10/10. Miles was on time and drove me back safely to the hotel. I appreciate the whole service as this was new to me and I was skeptical but it went smoothly. Thanks

    Sam is helpful however I need to edit the review a bit as I don’t want to be pushed to give a 5 star rating. Restroom is not looking so clean as I expected. Overall I would say it worth the price but don’t expect more than you paid.

    PD was super friendly and helpful when it came to checking in and setting us up to be able to check in early and add names to our check in. We were able to get in early and get ready for the wedding we were attending. The location is also great it’s so close to so many food options and to the airport my family was flying into. We had a great night.

    Very kind and helpful staff!! PD at the front desk really helped me out with early check in after my flight arrived early at the airport :) they upgraded my room at no charge and also provided a shuttle to and from the airport! would definitely recommend this place!

    Sam is great! Quick & friendly check in. Steve picked me up promptly & got me to my accommodation quickly & safely. I was having a bad day but the professional and courteous gentleman just mentioned made the end of a bad day go smoothly. Special shout out to Martha for providing me with a spotless room!

    Tom was our shuttle driver , if he is the first welcome back to michgan then leaving from Florida coming back home wasn't bad at all. He is superb. Great conversation, lots of laughs and a great welcome back home! Thank you Tom you're the best!

    I parked my car here. Steve was super nice driver and very helpful and friendly. He came quickly to airport to pick us up, helped us with our luggage, and brought us directly to our car. Great driver.

    We paid for parking at the Baymont for the Detroit airport. It was a good value, they had a comfortable shuttle and the driver Myles was great! She told us where to go when we got to the airport and it was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

    Steve and Sam did a good job and is fine in my book.....Edit, I gave them a good review because they were nice but I thought I'd put more. When I got back my truck was just as I left it and the other driver was a cool fella too but I forgot his name, oops. I'd definitely park there again.

    My stay was wonderful!! Sam at the front desk took very good care of me. I travel a lot for work and this place was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again. To all the Baymont staff please keep up the good work. And thanks again Sam you are amazing!!

    Myles was great. She was available to pick us up and assisted with our luggage. She also made sure we arrived on time to the airport. Sam was quick and friendly at getting us checked in for parking and calling the shuttle.

    We opted to pay for parking at this hotel as it was cheaper than parking at the airport. We arrived and parked. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was very short with us. We ended up waiting for about 45 minutes for the shuttle to the airport. The hotel shuttle was broken and they had to wake one of the drivers with a larger personal vehicle up to take us. This is where we met Tom. To be clear, Tom was absolutely AMAZING. He was friendly, loaded up our bags with care and chatted with us on our way to the airport. We had a great trip and when we returned, we called the hotel to send a shuttle for pick up. We ended up waiting over an hour and a half for the shuttle to show up - which involved many calls to the hotel to try and figure out what was going on. Granted, it turned out we were waiting in the wrong location, however, we told the hotel several times exactly where we were and were never told we were in the wrong location. When we finally found the shuttle, the driver was very short with us and we heard about how long she had to wait for us for most of the drive back to the hotel. Parking was minimal at the hotel (we almost didn't find a spot). Others who could not find a spot were told that they could leave their keys and the hotel would move their car to a spot when one was available (yeah, not happening). The amount we saved not parking at the airport was not worth the headaches and frustration. Choose better than we did.

    Myles was great. The vehicle was clean. They run according to reservations, so she was ready to go when I was. Easy drop off and she helped me with my bag. Updating my review to include my ride back with Tom. He was very friendly, helped me with my bag, and chatted along the way. Overall a great experience with parking and shuttle. Much more affordable than parking at the airport.

    We parked at this hotel several times before. They showed in the website that they have shuttle every 30 minutes. It used to be good, but the last time they took over one hour for one shuttle to come. We eventually missed a flight. The drivers of the shuttle are very nice and polite though, but the hotel really needs to stick to their promise on their shuttle time.

    *the reviews on this page are heavily inaccurate. The front desk supervises a 5 star review as you check in…before they hand you your keys….that seems to be the main reason the average review here is so high. The hotel is not clean, not nearly a good value for the price and is best to be avoided at all costs unless you are desperate.

    PD was very friendly and informative upon our check in. Made sure I understood everything that was happening with paperwork and asked multiple times if we had any questions. The driver for the airport shuttle checked multiple times if we needed a ride to the airport (we did not), I thought that was very nice of him! My fiance and I were just spending some time away from the kids together and this was an great value location to stay at. Was not disappointed in any way with the room or service we had received. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the areas hotels.

    PD was awesome! I needed a special accommodation and he came directly up to my room to see what I needed and supplied it! I love this location. Clean, friendly and conveniently located right off of 94 freeway! Thank you again PD! You are the best!!!

    Steve is a wonderful asset to the company. He's very friendly and talkative. He loaded our bags and unloaded them and offered a hand getting out of the van. We didn't choose to stay here and only used the location for its parking and shuttle service to and from the airport, but I highly recommend for parking services. The price was very reasonable as well.

    Tried to check in early and the man complained and looked annoyed, said it would be $50 I think to scare me away still needed to check in he then proceeded to take his time tapping the buttons on the keyboard loudly. He barely hands me my key before answering his personal iPhone. As I get to my room I open the door to find it is not what I booked. I walk back to the front desk to the same man now on his personal cell phone having a full conversation. I kindly waited and he very annoyed my asked me what. I told him that I did not book 2 queens I booked a king then proceeded to show him my receipt. He then says that’s better room. And I once again had to tell him I booked king bed I want a king bed. He then gives me this room. Things that weren’t pictured were the open window, you had to shove the door hard to get it to close, the tv didn’t have cable and the STICKY carpet was so bad I had to wear shoes the whole stay. The elevator also worked one time before having “mechanical issues”.

    Staff was very friendly. Lobby was clean and up to date! Rooms clean and neat! Upon checkout the complimentary breakfast was over and PD (his name) went to the back and got me a banana and allowed me to get apple juice! He was so helpful and friendly. This was our second time staying there to attend the Black Rodeo and we will stay here next year also. Looking for a decent place to stay this Baymont hotel is a very good choice!

    Steve was great! Good conversation, helped with my bags and was just a good experience all around! Super nice guy! Update: For my return trip Tom picked me up from the airport and he was absolutely amazing! Great customer service and a beautiful spirit.

    Steve our shuttle driver was very nice, very friendly and was a very good and most importantly a very safe driver. He kept us entertained and made sure we were comfortable throughout the ride. Excellent service, highly recommend!

    I spent more than a week at this hotel. Sam at the front desk went out of his way to make me feel comfortable on many occasions, and was very accommodating to my changing plans over the course of my stay. You will not find a better value in the area, and the hotel is quite quiet during the week. I will stay here again the next time I'm back.

    Had a great experience with the manager Sam who was friendly and informed. Later, when heading to the airport the driver Steve was down to earth and friendly. Had a nice conversation during the drive. The hotel room was clean. The furniture and appliances were a little dated. The bathroom light was dim, making showering and getting ready awkward. The room had a lack of outlets. Otherwise, it was nice.

    We used the parking and shuttle service to the airport. The driver Steve, was very polite and helpful. The service getting to DTW and also, coming back, his shuttle was right there to pick us up. We definitely highly recommend this service and will use it again. This was also very economical. We traveled to my brother's funeral, and Steve was very thoughtful and considerate.
