Went to this Hotel with great expectations today for a marriage ceremony. But highly disappointed with the service and food served. The meat used for preparing Biriyani must have been at least 3 to 4 days old. We felt Foul smell and most of the people vomited. Few of them hospitalised too. This was a Muslim function and it's understood the Hotel owner is also a Muslim. He was seen least bothered about the incidents. His Allah will definitely punish him.

This place is the most affordable yet stylish n posh looking ballroom u can find in Chennai. Hall will be very similar to Hilton. And the food here is terrific. Chef Thamizh takes a lot of effort n care into bringing in the best culinary experience for both veg and non veg guests.

A little surprised by the hotel. Seems like a huge property but barely anyone seem to use it. As far as the rooms are concerned - nicely done, and well maintained. Very little accessories or toiletries but the rooms themselves are quite nice and great views. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant food. There was some renovation work going at the reception area and there was dust everywhere and houseflies, but i think this because of the work that's ongoing. I think you can chose the hotel for the location and convenience. No other reason to choose such a high priced place.

Locality is good. Ambience is good. Food taste is below than average for the cost you are paying. Service also not good and not organized properly. Overall, the service can be improvised

New property, gym and swimming pool etc are still under construction. Rooms are OK, complicated to use the electrical switches. Expensive for the kind of property at that location, since there is no other good property around they charge more.

This is located just outskirts but not too far away, though the name Vanagaram may sound like too far. Actually from Koyambedu it will be around 5-6 KMs West. Parking space for 4 wheelers is just enough. The party hall was very nice, well decorated with all amenities. Chairs are enough for 200-250. But the dining hall is bit smaller for the crowd of 250-300. Rest rooms are well maintained. This is a No liquor place, hence drinks are not allowed. Food served was decent enough. Small functions, parties can be arranged. I am not sure about the cost. Overall a good experience.

I attended a baby shower function recently. I had a chance to taste only their veg food. It was really nice. Only feedback is the order they kept the food. After Soup, starters and next can be Rotis, idiyappam etc and finally rice items. But I find the order is mixed.

I visited Hotel Kay Em Spectra recently to attend a family event. Ambience was too good and the food provided was so delicious! 👌 Staff members there were courteous and professional. Overall, we all had a nice experience. I would give 10/10 👏 and highly recommend Kay Em Spectra.

Leave apart the rooms and hospitality of the hotel. Customers or tourist please be aware for your valuables i.e (Money, Jewels etc) because the hotel staff with the help of the hotel management will loot it for sure when you are away. When the act was questioned one Mr.Mohammed from the management casually replies that the management could not be held liable if their staff’s commit any robbery. This act of robbery was found while perusing the CCTV footage of my function held on 20th Oct, 2023. Therefore kindly avoid staying up in the hotel or even conducting any functions unless you dont mind your valuables or money to be looted.

Very Poor Design and Management. 1. Wardrobe neither have any hanger nor even a hanging rod. 2. No soap holder in bathing area. 3. No glass at washbasin to keep the toiletries. 4. Water coming out from toilet to room. 5. Room door can't be locked from inside. 6. Fly menace at Restaurant. 7. Bed will give you a backache. Need a lot of improvement. Only positive thing - Courteous Staff.

THEFT FROM THE HOTEL ROOM BY HOUSEKEEPING STAFF AND HOTEL IS DEFICIENT IN PROVIDING SAFETY LOCKER. I stayed in this hotel on October 20th for my relatives engagement happened on the same hotel. Around 6.30-7.30pm a house keeping staff strangely knocked the door and asked if I need room cleaning..I clearly said not required and closed the door..I left to the engagement around 7.30pm and was back at 9.30pm. Meanwhile the same housekeeping staff entered my room after I left and took the money Rs 8000 from my wallet consisting Rs 10000 and left the 2000 back in the wallet. Scenes of him entering my room after I left was recorded in the CCTV and was accepted by the hotel staff when I confessed. On further interrogation the house keeping staff dint admit about the theft..finally the hotel management started negotiating with me to refund half the amount ie Rs 4000..since I dint agree to it they agreed to refund the entire amount Rs 8000 to close the issue amicably and asked 3-4 days time to refund..I texted them after 5 days and there was no reply..on a discussion about this with my relative(whose engagement happened on same day) I discovered that they had also lost Rs.37500 from the money bundle consisting of Rs 2 lakh. I further called up the hotel to ask about the refund update since there was no reply from them for my message. The hotel management has decided not to refund any amount is the reply I got. 1.Being a hotel which has a ball room to host events was deficient in having safety locker in the room to keep the valuables which paved way for the housekeeping staff to steal things from the room. 2. Housekeeping staff are not properly trained and entered the room without my knowledge even after I told him not to clean up the room.( this scene was clearly recorded on CCTV and accepted by the hotel) 3. Hotel management being very negligent says they are not liable for any theft happened in their premises and diverts the issue by saying we will provide the CCTV recording so that we can file a police complaint on our own as they are helpless and doesn’t reply for any of my messages. Basically they are just ignoring instead of solving the issue. SO THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH KAY EM SPECTRA. To Mr. Kishore, This is the reply to ur feedback reply. For ur kind information there was no 8-9 members entering my room no 606 on the mentioned date..before putting false allegation please check the CCTV..since it was just the house keeping staff( Vinod) entered my room on the mentioned date and time your hotel management agreed to refund. If it was 8-9 members entered you all wouldn’t have askd for a written letter from me to file a police complaint on tat particular person..first of all it it was 8-9 members entering my room u wouldn’t have filed a police complaint and negotiated with me for 4000 refund..you would have diverted this issue then and there.. your hotel staff Mr. Mohammed even told me after the police interrogation that it was just 8000 rs and police can’t do anything regarding it and negotiated with me for a partial refund..your hotel is not responsible for the personal belongings..but ur hotel is responsible for the behaviour of house keeping staff..and the letter you mentioned about just a request letter to look into this issue and CCTV..the gentleman u mentioned here is my uncle who also lost 37500 in ur hotel room will definitely come and ask u about the issue..there’s nothing wrong in him showing my letter and asking Wat had happened..with my letter how many ever ppl come to u there’s no harm..with my letter no one can come and ask you for money..you ppl wanted to divert this issue so ur bringing in something else..seems like instead of helping out ur guest ur defending the one who stole it from the room..

Loved the entrance and looks of reception. On seeing the rooms, it was well cleaned and maintained but still there are some disadvantage like it's not properly renovated and few places there is unfinished switches and furnitures. The Party hall was awesome and buffet was pretty good.

Very gud ambience in both rooms and party halls ., fabulous and fantastic taste of food . Especially to the party,'s . Must worthy place to visit and experience all time.

Mr. Kishore the manager is a super man. He will provide everything that you might ask without any hesitation. The property is very new and has spacious halls for functions. The food is upto the market standards and they give exclusive offers according to your needs. Hats off

Good hotel in the vicinity. Neatly done up. Appreciate the parking facility. Only one observation or clarity required- I couldn't find the fire escape staircase and signage from upper floors (banquet hall). Hope this is available....

There is this guy in the front office named Dinesh and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He is a Big liability for the Hotel and he will bring down the reputation for sure with bad service. I will never recommend this hotel To anyone because of the way, Dinesh spoke to me.

Brilliant place. I happen to visit Banquet hall in the third floor. The hall was spacious and fancy looking. Two lifts for the guest and one separate transparent lift access from the rooms to the hall. Food was good though not sure if it is prepared by the hotel or the event organizers. There is restaurant at ground floor well decorated and has enough parking space.

We organized my sister's Reception and Wedding at Kay-Em Spectra on June 9th & 10th. All our guests were quite impressed with the hotel ambience. And then the food and service. We chose our food menu with the help of Chef Thamizh's suggestions. He really guided us well in choosing the menu with his expert dishes and our people's taste. Overall we got very good comments from our guests and we are happy that the wedding went on well. Thanks to Mr. Khaja Moideen sir for all the arrangements that you have assured us. Hosted my son’s first birthday @kay-em spectra. The food was excellent. The chef Tamil was very flexible and open to our suggestions in fixing the menu. We had a theme based birthday and Kumar, the decorator was very responsive,he brought our vision in to reality at reasonable price.The staff members are very friendly.

In my experience, a good banquet hall should have ample space for guests to move around, a great sound system, and good lighting to set the mood for the occasion. It should also have comfortable seating arrangements, clean restrooms, and ample parking spaces. A well-maintained dance floor and stage are also essential for events that involve entertainment and performances.

I had my wedding reception recently at Kayem spectra. The wedding Hall was too good, But they offered less varieties of food (mainly starter) for the rate provided there. Coming to decor part, Would like to thank Mrs.Aishwarya (wedding Kraft company) for the fabulous job at our wedding. It looked exactly the way I pictured it in my head. I absolutely loved it and everyone was complementing the set up! Thank you once again for the amazing work❤️
