I recently stayed at this Hotel. The experience was less than good. I arrived at 3:45pm and my room wasn't ready although I had received a text asking me if I wanted an early check-in. I had to get a room that was smaller and less than I wanted while I was there. During check-in I didn't receive any information about breakfast, where the elevator was or how exactly the parking worked, which was $25 night!! Once I got to my room it was nice but small. The bed was like a rock and the sheets were a step softer than cardboard. The cable didn't work, and when I called room service it took 3 tries to get through to anyone. In the morning I went downstairs for breakfast, there was a small buffet and a list of items to order at the table, breakfast was $18 each. I paid $36 plus tip for a breakfast that would normally be free at most hotels. I stay at a lot of Marriott's throughout the U.S. although this the "fanciest" it was the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. Location was great.

Fantastic, brand new Marriott on the Columbia River front. The location is excellent, as it's close to everything downtown Vancouver has to offer. Tons of restaurants, breweries, shopping, etc all within a short walk. Absolutely THE location for your next stay!

I recently stayed at the AC Marriott in downtown Vancouver, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive. The rooms were spotless, and everything was well maintained. The hotel also boasts incredible views of the Columbia River, which made my stay even more enjoyable. But what really set the AC Marriott apart was the state-of-the-art workout facility. As a fitness enthusiast, I was blown away by the equipment and amenities. The gym had everything I needed for a great workout, and I was even able to enjoy the incredible river views while I worked up a sweat. Overall, I highly recommend the AC Marriott to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience. From the friendly staff to the cleanliness to the incredible views and state-of-the-art workout facility, every aspect of my stay was perfect. I can't wait to come back!

Beautiful modern hotel with some service and room issues we didn't expect to have to deal with. We requested a crib for our little one and we're assured through the app they'd have one for us. Upon check in they confirmed that the crib was not delivered to our room. Eventually it was delivered but we found out they didn't deliver any sheets with it. We had to go back down and ask for sheets. Front desk apologized and requested they deliver sheets to our room. We went to dinner nearby and came back to sheets delivered, but they were not baby sheets and they delivered adult sheets. This is a safety issue. We had to tuck the sheets in super tight to ensure our baby could sleep safely. The rooms were beautiful and had tons of space. But the A/C unit was very loud. I ended up sleeping with earplugs. They did acknowledge my gold status and upgraded our room which was appreciated. The lobby is gorgeous and the packing garage is attached to the hotel so we felt very safe parking and staying there. Overall a very mixed experience. We enjoyed the hotel but so many issues made the stay much more difficult than expected. I'd love to give this place another chance someday just because I know they can do better.

Newly opened, modern minimalist aesthetic design. The hotel is pleasantly staffed and handsomely decorated with a lovely view of the Columbia River waterfront despite being surrounded by construction sites. Located a convenient walking distance to several waterfront, sights, activities and restaurants in a rapid growing community.

The rooms are small, but very well kept. They are great if you are renting by the hour (up to one day) but not so nice for a long stay. No space for luggage: closet space is tiny and they only have two small drawers. The bathroom looks cool, but works terribly. It is 3” deep, square, and flat, so the water ponds. The shower stall is pretty nice, with normal shower head and a rain shouter head, but only one can operate at a time. The staff was amazing!!! Almost too amazing. They all seem over the top polite, like they have been dealing with bratty rich people too long. The location is nice: right next to downtown, but it’s awkward to get on the highway going North, and right on the water, but there is no beach access. Parking garage is tight access if you don’t have a small car, but it is clean and seems secure. I never saw non-guests in the area.

We only were there for an event right in front of the hotel, but the staff was professional and courteous, the best in town honestly! They were so accommodating to have this yearly race there so it means aot to many! I've never stayed there but I highly recommend if you have friends or family visiting and need a place to stay, whether for business or leisure!

Had happy hour/dinner in the AC Lounge. Food a little slow coming out, but it was delicious! Ordered the cod dinner - when it arrived it was sole. Just thought it was odd they didn't tell me before they cooked/served it. Good service.

Arrived late and we were so happy parking was on site. Worth any price. Location was really beautiful and we had a cool view of the waterfront. Lots going on the next day and we strolled the boardwalk and did lots of people watching. This is obviously a growing area. Rooms were comfy and stylish but I wasnt fond of the sliding bathroom door and the square toilet. Bar downstairs had delicious appetizers and drinks. The staff was wonderful! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Charity event. Location is great, we were looking forward to a new location. Fruit flies invaded because the plated salads were on the tables when people entered, and sat for nearly an hour while people mingled. Was really distracting and frankly disgusting for a formal charity event. Servers didnt seem to know what to do or what was happening. We asked for iced tea and were told they didn't have that, then a few minutes later they brought it out. Banquet servers brought out half our tables food, and the rest of us sat. When it was time for dessert, the server brought a stack of plates and forks and literally dropped the forks in a pile on the table. Food was marginal at best. Very disappointed for a brand new event center space. The hotel seems to have all the ambience of a basketball court. Check in, restaurant, bar, all in one huge space - seemed very impersonal.

We just stayed here for an event, and the hotel was wonderful. The staff was so kind. They went above and beyond trying to find a microwave for our room, when they were initially out. The view was beautiful from our riverfront room. The shower was huge! Had all the amenities we needed. Only complaint was the mattress was too firm. But the pillows comfy. Great wifi, for the kids to game, when we were downstairs at the dinner. The hotel bar in the lobby was a nice open space as well. Comfy to hang out for the after party. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Vancouver.

The AC Hotel in Vancouver WA is beautiful — brand new, modern, well-staffed and well-maintained. It has an excellent restaurant and is situated on the picture perfect downtown Vancouver waterfront. Stroll along the Columbia river after a fabulous breakfast or lunch at the AC — don’t miss their carrot cake, eggs Benedict, french fries, or their great variety of small bite appetizers! The rooms at the hotel have great views of the river and are well-designed for a comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel are excellent, showing great care and concern for your needs: Every staff member we encountered had a genuinely welcoming and helpful spirit. Also, I use a wheelchair and the hotel has been totally accommodating of my disability. The hotel provides a great conference and special events venue in addition to just a beautiful weekend get-away. The AC Hotel is a rare find in the up and coming Vancouver WA area. Don’t miss it!

We stayed for a business meeting and had a lovely experience. Front desk agents were all extremely kind, helpful and friendly and aimed to make our stay wonderful. Rooms were a little on the small side (I had a standard king) but probably what you would expect for a hotel in an urban center. The room was fairly quiet and well appointed. The hotel is in the middle of what looks to be new development on the beautiful Vancouver side. The views of the river were beautiful. Olivia in groups sales is a gem-she helped ensure our event went off without a hitch and was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a star with her and many of the folks at the front desk. It’s hard to recruit in hospitality now but the hotel has done a fantastic job in getting a A+ team. The “TUG” robot was so cool! We got to watch it running around the hotel delivering items. What a fun feature!

This place is absolutely amazing. I have stayed here twice now. I have dealt with Katie both times and she is so helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff is great as well. The views are fantastic, the surrounding restaurants, as well as the hotel’s restaurant are sooooo good. This new Vancouver waterfront area is a really great place to come and chill for a couple of days.

Nice hotel. Lobby and hallways feel high end. Marble, high ceilings. Location also nice. Especially if you get a room facing the river, which I did not pay for. Staff was helpful and friendly. I ran into some booking issues and they were able to resolve them fairly quickly. Room was clean. Parking reasonable at $25 vs $40 or $50 in Portland. However, for $400, it’s a bit sparse. No free breakfast, rooms are small. No pool. Very few drawers or places to store things. Again, that’s the aesthetic - minimalist - so that may be a plus for you. Seemed like a nice place for a long romantic couple. I was here with my son for a baseball tournament. Would have preferred residence inn with more practical features, and less swank. This seemed like a nice place to take my wife maybe.

One of my favorite AC hotels. Everyone here is friendly and cool. I loved my hotel room. I did have a view of the construction and stuff but it didn't matter. There was a floor garden to look at the and room was great. There is so much space to open my luggage and unpack. My only complaint, the lights next to the bed are waay to bright, they glare on the TV too much. I also wish the bar or restaurant were open till 11. Additionally, the parking lot is clean and easy to get to the hotel. Can't wait to come back here.

This review is for the spa. I will leave one on their page as well, but wanted to make sure folks know this is available while staying at the hotel. I received a massage there today and it was fantastic! It has been a while since I have been able to get a massage, so was nervous to try somewhere new. No regrets! Will be a regular here at the spa for sure.

Nice location and hotel but service is extremely poor. Especially at the restaurant/bar. We came with our family, kids, and friends and ordered food and drinks. We were having a good time but the service was rather slow. We had to chase down the server and the bar tender. Spent a lot of money about $400 to our surprise got cut off. Very ridiculous how they cut us off for no reason. And the whole time the bar tender had no smile and very unwelcoming. Good hotel, but even room service was a fail, had to clean the room myself and requested towels. 😬

I have not stayed in a room here; I attended my employer's holiday party. We rented an event space on the top floor (7th). The ambiance was terrific and the staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Particularly important for me and for anyone who may care about such things, the acoustics seemed well thought out. I didn't need to shout to the person next to me.

I am a Marriott lifetime Platinum and this is one of the nicest AC Marriotts I've been in. The service staff were great from the front desk to the host station to the servers. Tanner has done a great job with the food menu and drinks. This will be my new go to place to bring friends despite it being some miles from my home. I had a tour of the room and they look fine although the minimalist style doesn't appeal to me. The view out the window on the Riverside is of course spectacular! And the secret deck on the fourth floor That's very cool.

This place was fantastic! The customer service was incredible and much appreciated! This hotel was absolutely beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Our view was great, the room was great, our breakfast the next morning was superb! We were hoping there was a pool/hot tub but there wasn’t which was unexpected for this kind of hotel. Took away one star for the unexpected charge to park in their garage which was NOT mentioned upon check in. $25 for one night in the garage?!!! Robbery. It should’ve been included in $300/night room I paid for. They should be transparent about these things so we were quite disappointed in that part. Otherwise it was lovely here.
