wow. I don't know about the other review here, but our experience was QUITE different! Great tenants, a little crazy noise when we first moved in from direct neighbors above, but that's died down and has been great...we know most of the people in the building and it's been good. This is a downtown building with a downtown market. People coming and going, but I've never had any issues with security or "homeless people entering apartments." Also, the security in the front is pretty good compared to other places I lived and as it is a brand new building, the front door has definitely had some kinks in it's electrical system but it is always dealt with promptly and has only ever had that happen maybe once or twice in the year I've been here. And yes, we do have tenant events, of which I've been to a few and they are always great, especially the Christmas party! Albeit it's been awhile, but that's been due to new office staff coming in...with whom we are really quite acquainted with and have never had an issue as they are forthcoming and prompt about everything. I think noise would be my only complaint, but as I said, we're in a downtown location over a busy street. You get used to it. I love being able to walk everywhere! All in all, I really do love my little apartment!

First, I find it odd that there are no interior pics of this place on any rental site, or even their own website. They state that there is A/C, this is only true for the hallways and other common areas. There is NO A/C in the units and window units are not allowed. Be ready to pay $300+ for a portable A/C unit. Parking is a joke. If you manage to snag a handicapped spot, don't EVER move your car. The tiny yellow triangle of a deck is only big enough for 1 chair, or 2 standing adults. The yellow is an eyesore and very few units have this tiny, yellow triangle. There is a woman who gave 13 West, 15 West, and K West apartments very detailed 5 star ratings....she WORKS for the company. She is a leasing agent at K West, which is a sister property.

If you pay your rent on time and follow the rules stated in your leasing agreement you won't have any problems. There are trash rooms on every floor, so you don't have to take your trash outside yourself. A cleaning lady comes in the middle of the day most days of the week. Maintenance is quick to respond to request and very friendly/respectful. The main complaints that I would have is 1) that the office isn't great about answering the phone, or calling you back when you leave voicemails, and sometimes you have to call 4 or more times to get someone. 2) For 2 years in a row they sold my parking spot to me and another person after I renewed my lease because they forgot to write down that my spot number was already taken. Neighbors can seem loud due to thin walls, but that's not really a complaint about the leasing office, just something to consider. Lots of road noise, seeing as it's on a downtown main road, but again not the leasing office's fault. All in all, a great building to live in, especially considering it's low income and practically brand new. Again, just be responsible and pay your rent on time.

For the most part, I really enjoyed living here. Had I stayed in Vancouver, I would have stayed at 15 West. The units are nice & modern. The office staff are positive & professional. Maintenance is responsive. I found most neighbors to be pleasant. It's a great location in walking distance to so many things. The biggest negatives were the random, too-frequent fire drills (one was at 2:30am), extra parking fee, tiny parking spots, & lack of A/C (especially strange since it was built just a couple years ago). Overall I recommend 15 West though.

I've been here a little less than a month and the assistance of the entire staff have gone out of their way to make me comfortable and help me not only in a new residence, but have helped me find my way in an unknown city. The people I have met have met that live here are friendly and helpful. The surroundings and the interior are kept spot up. Michael Greer.

The kids area has been opened again!! Yay! Haven't had any more issues with police or others harrassing me in a little while. There are some great people living here. They just fixed up the outside of the apartments recently also. So I am raising my review to 3 stars and hoping to be able to soon put it further up that scale.
