Go to another clinic to get your medical imaging done. Avoid! 1. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to get a hold of anyone to make an appointment. Don’t even bother with their online form because they take longer than 3 business days to call you. 2. I sent in my requisition twice via email however the front desk needed me to email her a third time with another copy. I had to go through a months worth of emails to find my requisition form (as that’s how long I had to wait to be seen at this clinic). 3. I was 5 minutes late and was reprimanded for it by the front desk. She accused me of being late for 10 minutes when she had neglected to look up and say hello when I arrived 5 minutes prior. No compassion. Do yourself a favour - avoid the stress and don’t go here. The low stars speaks for itself and I wish I had looked at the ratings sooner to avoid this bad experience.

The first 2 times i went to this clinic i had a good experience. My last visit was horrible. The tech called me from by her room door which was around the corner of the waiting area and just expected me to know where she was, she didnt say hi and just said ly down on the bed for ur exam. The tech did my growth ulstrasound in 5mins and told me my husband wasn't allowed to see the baby because he came the other 2 times. I had argued that and she finally said yes and literally took 15 seconds to show us our baby and said she couldnt give us a picture either. She gave me one paper to clean up a whole bunch of ultrasound gel (turned her back on me and didnt even ask) and during the exam did not talk at all about what she was doing or looking at. She was rude to start with.( a middle eastern tech) Worst experience for first time parents! No need to be rude and the appointment is booked for 30mins, 5mins to get the job done isnt okay!

I did my ultrasound today and the technician is great. He is nice and professional, very patiently answers questions and explains how patient cooperates with aultrasound taking. He deserves a five star. I've been here many times. Today is the first time I feel a bit uncomfortable at the reception. I heard they've got a new system, and that may be why the waiting line in checking in is longer than usual. The receptionist lady (I meet her for the first time) seems frustrated and rushes patients away. That feels impatient and disrespectful. Although she may be stressful and frustrated, as the receptionist she could have communicated with patients in a more professional way. I like this place all the time, so hope things can get improved in the future.

The experience of seeing our baby for the first time was ruined! My wife and I went in for our first Ultra Sound yesterday and we did not have a positive experience at all. We went up to the front desk to check in and the lady made us stand there in front her for a minute without even telling us that she will be right with us. I could clearly tell that she was doing something, but it is not common courtesy acknowledge that we were there and ask us to wait? Next, the technician called us for our turn, but did so from the hallway. I would expect that she should have come out to the waiting area to see us face to face and lead us to her room. If these were the only two things, it would not be a big deal. The whole time while she was doing the ultra sound, we got the impression that she wanted to get rid of us as fast as she could. She took pictures of the baby without even consulting with us and the picture turned out really bad. She showed us the baby's body and arms and legs, but it was literally for 30 seconds. She did not answer my questions properly when I asked because she was too busy trying to get the measurements and pictures printed, and at the end she forgot to give us the printed picture until we reminded her. She told us that we were finished without even looking at us, because she was too busy filling out the form for the family doctor. Then I asked her what the next step is, if we have to contract the doctor, or if the doctor will contact us (basic information that she should have told us) and she had an annoyed look in her face and said that the doctor will contact us. I am sure she did not do anything wrong, she checked off everything that she is required to do. However, for most couples, this is such a precious moment that would stay with them for a long time. The poor service from the technician should not ruin the joy of seeing your baby for the first time.

I tried calling several times to book an appointment had to wait 20-25 minutes each time. Each time would get a person and would say book online. I had tried booking on line and never heard back for three days. Decided to walk in the receptionist asked me to sit and wait. She just took my requisition and asked me sit and wait. She was dealing with multiple tasks and seemed overworked. They definitely needed more staff. After about 20 minutes they called she was very pleasant and professional. She got me for the x-ray but ultrasounds needed to book an appointment. I think they need more staff. If it wasn’t for the receptionist I would have rated a 1.

I've been there before and everything was fine, but I recently went there for an ultrasound and was utterly shocked at how filthy the imagi g room was. The garbage can was full and there was pieces of paper scattered all over the floor. This must never happen at a facility that handles health matters! Never. I thought it will be cleaned up before my ultrasound but the technician didn't seem bothered at all.

Awful experience! The receptionist that greeted me was very rude! (First time going here) Then My first ultrasound the tech was an old East Indian man . Felt uncomfortable didn’t say anything to me. Said my bladder was not full. I told him I think I might be miscarrying as I had one last year .He said I should be on bed rest? didn’t explain anything to me! Said he will send the results to my doctor . Was in and out in 10 mins!!! I’m super upset ! Zero confirmation on my preg and the guy was on auto pilot! How do I complain? This was the worst experience. These ppl should not have a job! Now I’m Wondering if my pregnancy is even viable ! 😞

We had an appointment booked on July 26 at 8AM and was requested to arrive 15 minutes early for the appointment. No chairs to sit down. No one greeted anyone. A staff walked by without acknowledged anyone. There were 5 people waiting. Called out to get a chair and a lady responded no chairs to be put out until the clinic opens. Then why is my husband advised to come 15 minutes early just to stand around? He had surgery on July 19. This clinic is not compassionate and the lady said my husband was yelling her. He was only asking for a chair so he could sit down. He only got a chair to sit after he said "Are you going to wait until some collapse before you put chairs out in the waiting room?" Please do not ask patients to come in early if your clinic is not ready to greet patients. Also, be courteous to seniors. Someday, you'll be lucky to become one.

On November 19, on Sunday, I had an appointment at 1:50. I went from White Rock to there. I left my job. I work on a Sunday. I entered the information office, where a black employee, whose name I do not know, was sitting. I gave her the health card and told her I had an appointment. I received a message from you. I wrote the name on the computer and left. She had a piece of paper from the printer with my information, the doctor’s name, and his signature on it, but there was no smile on her face and her eyes except the police stare and what seemed like racism. She asked me who gave you this paper, and I told her, “It came out of your printer.” Then she said, “Give me the doctor’s address and his name.” I told her, “I don’t know the exact address, and I’m weak in English.” Then She started screaming and hitting the table in her hand with the pen in her hand. If you don’t say the doctor’s address, I will cancel the appointment. Then she kicked me out and canceled the appointment.

One word : INCOMPETENT! They moved my 2pm appointment to 5 pm without prior notice. Apparently the technician called sick in the morning. So are they shortage of technicians too? Anyway, Once I got there the medical clerk said she’s going to squeeze me in BUT what she did NOT mentioned is that the technician will rush to do her actual job! Not to say did not check at all my pelvic. Just said: it’s mentioned here that you have right ovary pain, she pressed one time and said we are all done for today! It’s getting more and more worrisome this nonexistent Canadian healthcare! I will report them immediately and request serious sanctions! This should be taken seriously as they are misdiagnosing and sending wrong reports! It is our actual health there botching with! UNACCEPTABLE

This is the most ridiculous experience I had! I never give one star because I appreciate all the work and services of various institutions and establishments. However, the poor customer service, unreliable slow system process made it the worst experience I had so far. The management should widely see the processing system of this imaging company, particularly in Surrey. We deserve better healthcare services!

Today, I had my ultrasound in the morning. Prior to my visit, I was going through the reviews. I had never been there before. I was a bit nervous on reading some negative reviews. But when I reached there, the lady on reception (11.08 am, 28 Feb.2022) was so friendly. She talked to me very nicely. My appointment time was at 11.20 and at 11.10, I was in ultrasound room. The best part of the my ultrasound was the lady or nurse who did my ultrasound. Her name was Milliv (or Millie). Her name was Unique as she was. She was so kind. She attended me very nicely and in a very polite way. These five stars are for her. I have no words to appreciate her service. Thanks a lot!

Had a good experience, went in and totally forgot to bring my card card and requisition but the receptionist was helpful saying she could perhaps check if my doctor faxed it and oh behold, my doctor did so it was on file and they accepted a picture of my care card number that I had on my phone which saved me since I’ve been waiting for this appointment for 4 months. For everyone else, just remember to bring the requisition incase your doctor didn’t fax them and will save you! After that, I only had to wait 3 minutes and the technician took me in, and was in and out in less than 20 min!

AWFUL experience. no wonder they had 2 stars. I had my appointment today at 2:10 i showed up to them saying that they don't have me in their system and claiming they dont have my requisition form even though my clinic faxed them the form TWICE, i even sent them an email of my requisition. I waited a whole hour needing to call my clinic again to double check that they sent in the form which they did. My clinic also said that the like to act like they don't get your forms all the the time. After going back to the front desk the lady was like "oh I thought you left" acting like she didn't ask me to call my clinic for them. After they say well it is already 3 and all of our doctors are busy we can't help you. On top of me having a full bladder waiting uncomfortably and the front receptionist giving off the most monotone attitude, i did not get my ultrasound done even though they had my requisition and my appointment on file. very disorganized would not recommend going here, and unfortunately i have to come back for a follow up appointment.

My experience with Millie today for my ultrasound was fantastic! She was very professional, very kind and thorough. If it is possible to choose a technician during the visit, I would highly recommend Millie... 5 stars for her strong work ethics.

Don't come here if you want a lovely, happy, informative experience with seeing your baby for the first time Went to this place in early 2021 with my first dating ultrasound. Staff were rushed and unfriendly. I hated my experience. But it was the height of covid, so I cut them some slack. Went there again today with my 2nd pregnancy in 2024. Nothing has changed. Staff are quick, short, and super closed off. I call it the "here's your stupid baby, now get out" experience. They don't tell you anything about the ultrasound except that there is indeed a baby in there and see, here's the heart beating (no sound). Never going there again if I can help it.

I was at WCMI for an ultrasound on my leg. On arrival, I requested to sign a release so that the results would be sent to me as well as my doctor. Due to the current situation with the lack of physicians in BC, I am in the process of acquiring and keeping a file at home of all my tests and procedures. To date, all hospitals and labs have been wonderful, readily providing a release form and forwarding copies of results and images to (me) the patient - at no cost to the patient. No so with WestCoast Medical Imaging. I was told in no uncertain terms they will only send images and results to the ordering physician. I was advised that if I wanted copies, I would need to return in person after a week and pay $10 for a copy of the report - and if I wanted images with the report they would charge me $40. This is my body, my life, and my right to have these results and images - and nowhere else in Fraser Health is the patient charged for copies of their results. Wait... there's more.... When I was called for my turn, the technician walked away not waiting for me. Arriving in the right corridor - There was no gown offered, or changing room. Upon entering the Ultrasound room, the technician told me to take off my pants as my pants would not roll up high enough. Note that my pants would have had to roll up to my thighs for the ultrasound. I'm glad I was wearing underwear. Why no gown or changing room???? btw... I am a senior citizen soon to be 70 years old.

When I read all of these reviews here, I was afraid to go to this place, but my experience was excellent. The receptionist is very nice, I like her sence of humor. The lady who did my ultrasound was very nice and polite, she gave me tons of images of my baby, and she even printed some especially for my daughter. I forgot to ask for her name since I was overwhelmed, but I will definitely come back for my next ultrasound.

i was never a person to make a bad review. i came for my 20week scan appointment and had the most terrible experience. ive read so many bad reviews in this branch but still went and gave them a chance. I forgot to ask the name of the tech who did my ultrasound. but he was the older Indian man. I greeted him very nice and i was very friendly to him but this man had no feelings at all. He was very rough and very rude to me. i asked him politely if i could film a video. and he said no. so i kept my phone in my bag and never pushed about it. the whole appointment was very uncomfortable. to make this short. when he called my husband for viewing. he said no filming. so my husband left his phone on the chair close to the door and far from his reach and never intend on filming. we are not dumb people and we respect every clinics policy. but this tech raised his voice and told my husband turn your phone off. and my husband stood up trying to turn it off. and he kept saying in a loud voice turn it off. turn it off. my husband responded give me a minute. i dont know why he had to mistreat us like that. and also when i asked him about my baby. he said he cant tell me anything. i was crying the moment i left the clinic. my heart was really broken for being treated like that. this pregnancy is our first. we are very happy and excited about it. but this experience was very heartbreaking. please treat patients nicely. we look forward to this kind of appointment the best you could do is to atleast be nice.

I went to this location today expecting the worst based on all the previous reviews. I had a pelvic ultrasound and I arrived one hour before my appointment with a full bladder. I only had to wait 10 minutes and they took me in. The reception staff were very kind and easy to deal with. The technician I had was Joseph and he was absolutely amazing. I was a little anxious, having a male technician as this was my first pelvic ultrasound. But he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Thank you Joseph for such an amazing experience. Don't go based on all the other reviews. I had an amazing experience at this location and I would highly recommend.

I visited this facility for my 18 weeks detailed Ulrasound scan. At first, I was skeptical choosing this facility based on the bad reviews but thankfully my technicial "Millie" reversed my opinion. She was awesome, very kind, professional and patient. She did the thorough scan and kept a check on how I am doing throughout as the scan took longer. Later, she kindly called my partner in to show him the baby and was friendly.

My experience was totally fine here. Everyone was kind to me, but ultrasound gender results were wrong. We did a blood test at 9 weeks which said Female. Then the anatomy scan results came back from here saying Male. Paid for a private scan since we were confused and clearly showed us a female baby.

The staff called me last week to confirm my appointment and told me what to prepare for ultrasound. She was really nice and told me to go to Guilford location. I did read reviews and got pretty nervous from what I read BUT my experiences today was totally opposite from the review. The front desk lady was really nice and friendly to check me in. But for somehow I was waiting for too long than I expected so I went to ask and she was rush to check what happened because I should be done already. She apologized to me and after a few mins. The technician called me. She said sorry to me and was really nice and did everything fast because I was holding for so long and let me went to the washroom so I felt better. What a good experience for my first time here. Thank you! Easy to find parking spot. You have to walk to the basement to their office. Mask required inside but if you don't have, they provide for you. So overall, I had a good experience and pretty happy when I left the place.

I went for my detailed second week ultrasound scan, it was performed by sonographer named Sweta. She is very professional, detail oriented, polite, calm and patient sonographer. She made me understand the 30 min long ultrasound procedure and answered to my basic questions patiently. We were not able to complete the entire procedure as some of the images of baby's heart came out to be unclear, so she called me again next day during her lunch time as the slots were booked already. Since, it's a time sensitive scan, she understood the importance and spared some time from her lunch hour to complete the scan. Highly appreciate her! Thank You Sweta!

I have been trying to book an ultrasound appt for a month from now. Requested a priority appt online a week ago, entered info and no callback. Tried to request an appt online again a few days later. Nobody has called me back. Today I called them and waited on hold for 45 minutes before the call automatically hung up. Called again and waited another 45 minutes before it asked me to call again later and then hung up. So frustrating!! I don't know what I am supposed to do.

First time having here an ultrasound and I must say that my experience was ok. The receptionist was nice and I didn't have to wait more than 5 min. I came earlier with 15 min and I was the only person there when I came but 2 people came after. The ultrasound technician was respectful and professional. The minus for this center was that I got an appointment only after almost 2 months ... maybe because I asked for it to be in a weekend.

The office called last week to confirm my appointment & let me know what to do before my ultrasound (food/fasting). I showed up at 9:20am for my 10am appointment so I'd have extra time for paperwork. It was easy to park outside in a handicap space, and the pay parking meter was right inside the front door. Ultrasound is in the basement (2 floors down). There were lots of people in the waiting room, but nobody waiting in line for Reception. I checked in, sat down & within 5 minutes, the ultrasound technician (Shweta) came out to collect me. She was very nice, very efficient, and I was out of there by 9:45am. I didn't know what to expect, but the whole experience was seamless and without any problem. If I had known how fast it would be, I would not have paid for 2 hours of parking because I only used 40 minutes. Also, "Naz's Pharmacy" on the main floor had plenty of Covid test kits so I was able to pick one up on my way out.

I normally do not write reviews on my experiences but I'm really disappointed with my first ultrasound and meeting my child for the first time. I had an appointment at 5 p.m. October 25th, 2021 here and the woman who did the ultrasound was very brief and I did not feel welcomed or accommodated properly. She did not try to detect the heartbeat with us (not sure if there is one) and when she was done she just put the towel on me to wipe myself (is this a standard procedure because I've been assisted before, I don't want to sound spoiled...) and got up coldly and said I'm done. There wasn't much information from her. The experience made me feel just like another number. I understand appointments are busy and people are waiting, but please have the courtesy to be warmer to someone who's newly pregnant with meeting their child for the first time because I have no idea what's going on with my child.

If you want to see how unprofessionals work, just visit this location and they will show you pure unprofessional behaviour. I got a message for ultrasound and it says a 9 am appointment if you missed $75 charges may apply. I reached 8.50 am and the Asian lady on the help desk told me to wait. I waited for 40 minutes and then I asked how long it would take. She told me that your appointment has been cancelled as there is no need for the ultrasound. They have wasted my 2 hours. In addition to that i have to pay for the parking and drive back to my work late. For missed appointments they are asking for 75$ , now i want to ask them will you pay me for my losses of time and money?

West coast medical imaging is run poorly. I sent in my requisition 2.5 weeks ago and never heard back from them. When I finally called, I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes and then was reprimanded for not booking my ultrasound sooner. The person on the phone was rude, impatient, and unhelpful. As a first-time parent, this is a super stressful experience but unfortunately the options for ultrasound in the lower mainland are slim. Please come up with a better system for helping your patients!
