The absolute rudest receptionist I've ever spoken to. She was not happy to answer questions or to take the time to even listen to my reason for needing to see a doctor. I understand you guys are under staffed and busy, but you should still show respect, patience and compassion in your line of work. Shame on you.

Completely unprofessional and disorganized. They give you appointments and yet the doctors do not even arrive to the clinic even half an hour past your appointment time with the justification that "it's because the doctor runs three clinics!". This place is a joke! I am going to report and escalate this through proper channels.

Worst service ever and My Family doctor has been here for ages. this place hasn't changed in the 10 years or so I have been seeing them. today was the last straw. they have messed up on my appointment 3 times this month February the shortest one of all. leaving me to rebook twice and still missing My appointment trying to blame me. first was schedule for end of January and now they messed up twice making me now wait until maybe end of next week. cross our fingers it works this time. The best part is they tried to blame me, seriously get your stuff together for me and other please.

I called on a Thursday to make a phone appointment for a prescription refill that had already been prescribed by that doctor. They waited until the day before my appointment to tell me I need to come in for an in person appointment to fill this prescription. They asked me to come in at 10 and I showed up early. I waited until 11 before asking how much longer it will be. I was met with a rude and dismissive tone when I explained my situation. I was told there is no estimate because there are still people in front of me despite THEIR request that I arrive at 10. They said I was a walk-in even though I had called for an appointment. I did not end up being able to see the doctor as I had other appointment a to get to and I did not set aside an entire day for a 10 min appointment.

Absolutely never answer phone calls. Doctor arrives to the clinic hour+ late for morning appointments (on several occasions). I had a phone appointment scheduled an hour and half ago and I haven't heard a thing from them and they are not answering the phone.. again.

Waiting to get a requisition sent to north vancouver xray clinic..was supposed to be sent last Thursday...I went to the imaging clinic today and no requisition was sent..I have been on hold for over one hour to the Seymour clinic...very poor service

Dr.John Corey i spent all of yesterday waiting for my appointment for 11 hours and you were a no show today you also wasted my time and were a no show I was never once notified by your staff that you were cancelling or rescheduling i stupidly thought we were developing a good patient doctor relationship i guess i was wrong. Update: Three days late he finally called and proceeds to mumble something under his breath and hung up on me considering Dr.Corey just wasted multiple days of my time causing undue stress and anxiety he didnt care not in the slightest ill be contacting the college of physicians and surgeons due to Dr.Coreys lack of ethnics

This clinic is a joke. Nobody ever answers the phone so we booked an appointment online with her family doctor for our daughter's 2-month immunization. The office called to confirm the appointment for the immunization. Took the day off work, showed up, and they said they don't do immunization and there's nothing they can do to help.

Dr Rubin and Chaboyer are AWESOME. I do not have a family Dr and have been seeing these two Drs and have found them both to be very thorough without rushing me.

My doctor (Dr. Rubin) has always been very helpful and given me sound advice over the many years that I've been his patient. I've met many other people who also have him as their primary care physician and he is well loved by all of his patients that I've ever met. I'd like to point out that I am the kind of person who is extremely particular and I always have a lot of questions. Dr. Rubin has always have the patience to explain to me what is going on. He has never talked down to me and he has always been helpful. One time I asked him when he knew that he wanted to be a doctor – He told me that he's wanted to be a doctor since he was five years old. His commitment to medicine is extremely evident to anybody who sees him. I don't always trust my own judgment but I do trust his. Sometimes this office is extremely busy. I've found a little bit of patience and understanding goes a long way when you're visiting a clinic that is sometimes overloaded. Lisa Gloria and Amanda are doing an excellent job on the front counter - especially considering The small size of the clinic, the large volume of patients and the cramped area for storing records. Also I'd like to say that Dr. Class has provided a lot of help for my family as well. I've seen Dr. Corey a few times and he is extremely knowledgeable. Dr Galt delivered my daughter - Dr. Lee has helped out on occasion. Dr. Shibuya is a very smart doctor-our communication styles are different but he is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Things seems to have improved with the clinic, so i'm giving a cautious 3 stars. I used to be unable to schedule an appointment by phone or get replies to my emails because no one was answering the phone lines. However, I persevered as I liked my family doctor (Dr. Chaboyer) despite the administrative difficulties to try to see him, the last 2 phone calls and times i've dealt with the office they have been much better at answering phones and scheduling appointments (to my surprise), so this marked improvement is MUCH appreciated and i'm grateful to the new front desk staff they have hired who seem efficient (Minhaz i believe is very good) and responsive. The consults are still mostly on-line by phone calls and walk ins only when necessary though.

DR there are all great! The booking system is horrible inefficient. Hoping the owner can invest online booking system in addition to phone conversation. It took me more than half hour to call and call and call. No one answers the phone. The phone system auto drop off if no one pick up the phone. I have to line up call again again, which is not fair.

VERY HAPPY WITH THIS CLINIC professional, respectful, knowledgeable and very up to date with the latest information; as well as being prompt on the response and the outcome. Very little waiting time. Once you access the system the response time via phone is again timely efficient and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Mount SEYMOUR Medical Clinic.

When I finally get through to see a doctor I have no problems with that....I've always had a problem with getting the receptionist to communicate. The receptionist will not answer the phone. After several days of phoning and phoning and phoning. she hangs up the phone for no good reason while you're on hold....this has happened countless times. The only reason I'm calling is to book an appointment. she puts me on hold and hangs up. Had an appointment today jan 23 2024 at 12:30 pm I kindly asked the very rude receptionist how much longer, because I've been waiting for more than 1 hour....she rudely interrupted me snapping that other people are waiting too....I told her that she interrupted me...I also told her everyone that came in after me went in already....I asked again how much longer....she said "I don't know"....I can honestly say I don't know, because I don't get paid to work as a receptionist....very rude

Absolutely atrocious. Dr Corey lives up to his reputation for canceling, no showing and being late. After three attempts to even meet him I have given up. Today I waited in the office for Dr Corey who was 'on his way'...which could mean anything given he apparently commutes in by ferry so you're at the mercy of his poor planning and/or ferry cancellation. After over an hour he still hadn't arrived, let alone began seeing any patients.The staff is rude and unhelpful and are clearly sick of his antics as well. Don't waste your time here.

For years, we were without a family MD, and now both my husband and I feel blessed to have Dr Rubin as our family physician. We most appreciate his expertise and thorough, truly caring work. During this epidemic, physicians are stretched thin, but Dr Rubin always leads by example and somehow finds a way to be energetic, efficient, positive and even kind. Support staff at the clinic, Chloe and Gloria, as well have been most efficient and responsive. What you all do is meaningful. Thank you. Ildiko and Arun

No show ???? Dr. Corey forgot about my appointment...? Umm..... Wow. I've seen a lot of terrible doctors but I've never had a doctor not follow through with an appointment. Booked a phone call appointment, the resident doctor said he would call soon. It's been 3 hours of waiting next to the phone and no call haha, that's a first!

They are very good. Specially The medical office assistant MINHAZ is awesome. MINHAZ is very cooperative and tried his level best to help me. Thank you doctors and special Thanks to Minhaz. Highly recommended.

Dr Chaboyer has been my doctor for over a decade and he has been very thorough, kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

My wife and family. Think this Clinic is Great. short wait times. Very nice receptionist Gloria is so Nice, and other receptionists are always courteous to us !! Our Family Dr is Awesome very thorough and listens and he is very caring He is very qualified and he gives us the best care. Nice and clean here , and they have had renovations, new floors and paint looks nice. you can either take the elevator or the stairs, your choice. and down on the main floor is the Real Canadian Superstore, and Pharmacy which a plus. lots of parking available. But most of all Thanks to our Great Dr, and Receptionist Gloria they always make our day a good one. Thank you . 5 stars to this clinic.

I have just walked out of this clinic after sitting and waiting for over an hour and a half for my appointment. My scheduled appointment was for 11am and I walked out at 12:30. This is the worst clinic on the North Shore and I only go there out of desperation and the fact that my family Doctor practices there. My appointment was with the Dr on duty not my family DR but when I made the appointment the guy on the phone neglected to inform me that I would have to sit and wait (even though I had an appointment) while the DR saw his own patients!!! Whilst I was sitting there other people who had also been waiting for a very long time went up to the desk and questioned why the wait was so long. they were not given any answers and more or less told that it was not the job of the staff to inform patients as to the wait time. Well eventually I was the last one sitting in the waiting room but I knew that there were patients sitting in the examining rooms still waiting to see the DR. I went up to the front desk waited while the woman who was on the phone finished her conversation and then asked her if she could please tell me how much longer it would be as I needed to be somewhere by 1 o"clock. She looked at her desk told me i would be the next patient in so I went and sat down. She came over to me and started to speak to me in a very loud voice to "never do that again, speak to her while she was on the phone with a patient." I replied i did not speak to her whilst she was on the phone she was off and had finished her conversation. She continued to berate me and was speaking rudely and in a very loud tone. I am not an ignorant person I am not a rude person I know better than to interrupt a conversation with Someone speaking on the phone. I had had enough i was angry to have wasted my morning sitting in a clinic only to be faced with a very rude and nasty exchange with this woman. I got up and left, even though I needed a prescription refilled and I have an infected toe that looks like it is ready to fall off. I have been going to that clinic for years and the staff seem to get worse and worse as the years go by. I would not have tolerated it for this long but I love my family DR and she has looked after my children and my husband and me for almost 30 years. I did not deserve that woman's tirade and have never been spoken to by anyone in a professional setting like that. It was totally uncalled for and she lied outright about our interaction. I will not be setting foot across that threshold again unless this woman issues a much needed apology. IMO I would say that this clinic has the worst reputation on the North Shore and if it were not for convenience sake people would go elsewhere.

Currently no longer supporting walk-ins, but they have like 3 different sets of instructions on their door on how to book something. No video telemedicine option. Never answered their phone. I booked a phone appointment online through one of their instructions, but they didn't call back at all. In person appointment was numerous days wait. Until they allow walk-ins again, and if you can't wait a few days for an in person appointment, you're better off going elsewhere.

Doctors are great. MOAs are a different story. They are constantly rude, condescending and disorganized every time I have to interact with them. Would be nice if the clinic develops an easier way to book appointments.
