I went to the photo lab to pick up developed photos, there was no line but one person at the counter. The manager (Jeanette Mitchell) was helping him with a watch issue. Another employee was helping her and Jeanette asked the other employee to grab something quickly, when she came back she helped another customer not in line and proceeded to wait till that customer went to a different area of the store to purchase something else. Keep in mind I was at the photo lab waiting for developed photos. Jeanette looked at me multiple times, didn’t say anything but gave me a bad look every time as if I was bugging her waiting in line. Finally she told the other employee to help me. I was done my transaction in 30 seconds and on my way. (Picking up photos at the photo lab) The communication wasn’t there at all. If I had known I could approach the photo lab randomly and bypass the line I would have (that’s a joke I wouldn’t have). Jeanette has been there since 92 (her name tag said it). Maybe she would retire or look at training

After reading previous reviews, I can understand people’s frustration with the lack of staff in the photo department. This is clearly a management / scheduling issue and should not be blamed on the employees behind the counter. One of the staff Danny, has gone above and beyond expectations to help me choose the right product for my needs. He is always willing to offer suggestions to improve my photography work and is able to help trouble shoot problems after a sale has already been made. He is a tremendous asset to London Drugs.

Confusing pharmacist instructions. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was told by the pharmacist "it doesn't matter if the prescribed ointment for my eye infection touches my eyeball". Since it was obvious it was going to touch it, I asked in confusion how it was not supposed to happen? She looked upset by the question and replied no, but did not explain how I was supposed to apply the ointment without touching the eyeball. I'm glad to have the written prescription information afterwards within the medication, it clearly explains how to apply the ointment, in fact the ointment should touch the eyeball to spread the medication. Honestly, there was no added value on the interaction with the pharmacist, the waiting was not worth it.

Just want to say a big thank you for having great staff at the Langley branch especially to Brad in electronics for trouble shooting your fantastic Sennheiser head phones that ceased to operate on our Sony TV. As the unit worked on it's own but not when hocked up the. TV he very patiantly went over all the. settings with us over the phone and viola all is back to normal. Such wonderful service is very hard to find these days. Thank you.

The people in the computer department are great, retail is a tough gig. I have a couple questions about the store and how it is managed. We purchased a brand new computer, within two weeks the power supply died and the PC would not start up again. It has been two more weeks now, and we still do not have it back. This is no fault of the department, this is the store not having the parts available. Also, I had a laptop that required re-formatting, the manager said it would be $160 and they needed to send it away to be fixed. I took it to Abbotsford London Drugs, they did it in house and it was ready in two days. The cost was $90. Does this make sense ? I guess I will start driving to Abbotsford from Langley. Update: Monday will be 3 weeks without our PC, it has been in for repair longer than we have owned it. We are returning this computer and purchasing one in Abbotsford London Drugs. Total waste of time, not happy. Another update: Cannot return computer as it's over 30 days, although they have had the computer in for repair for 3 weeks. Picked up my computer today, still not working. IT guy called in sick, no back ups. Tried to call LD in Richmond to see if I can pick up a power supply, nope. Taking my computer to somewhere else today, other than London Drugs as they don't have the parts. Stay tuned. Update: My part never did end up showing up, the computer department had to order another computer from different location and steal the part out that one. They got the repair completed. I have never has an experience like this before, very strange.

I asked for a specific Brazilian coconut water and the Store's manager said they can't order but the other LD next to Langley has it, so I'm always driving more to other stores instead. Also, I asked someone to help me with the rice cooker and nobody came in 12 minutes or so, I left the store and paid more on the same product at Best Buy just because of the nice customer service. Only the Pharmacy staff are nice to us there.

I wanted to buy Lotto tickets for Lotto Max and 6/49, but the line up for the cashier's was long and slow. I saw the self checkout had lotto tickets sign on it and asked a lady for confirmation....yes they do have and they work. This London Drugs lady helped me out by showing me how it was done at Self Checkout and I appreciate her help. Thank you, Julia L at self checkout. You have helped me out and I truly appreciate it very much. 😊

People who visit this place for taking pictures for government use or something else should not come here. 2 reasons. 1. Due to less light pictures are shown dark rather dark brown. 2. Manager is rude, not cooperative. When we saw our pictures it doesn't show our color tone rather it was black due to less light. We talked to Manager Michelle Babiak, but she said I can't make you blonde. Then said this is last time I'm telling you. She was loud and with rude attitude which I didn't like.

Recently I purchased a desk top PC from Langley LONDON DRUGS electronic department ! The expertise and service by Justin were extremely helpful,! He explaining all my options! By the day of my pick up for mentioned equipment , Justin even credited me back money owed because we had made some changes in the equipment which was in my favor! I highly recommend dealing with Justin! His inter-personal skills are very well suited for his line of work!

Love LD. This place is fantastic for items I find I won't see elsewhere in most cases. I can get all my British cookies here along with a bunch of other unique snacks. I also enjoy looking at their HUGE selection of drug store makeup. This location is clean, organized and the staff helpful. Side note: With respect to the the audio video staff they are pretty knowledgeable but do your homework first. I have been steered in the wrong direction by that department before. LD always has sales and managers specials so if you wait whatever you have your eye on will likely come on at some point. Pro Tip: Don't bother trying to call this location I find it's vary hard to get anyone to answer the phone.

I go to this London Drugs mainly for recycling and for loading my Compass Card. The overall experience is decent. Most employees there were kind and helpful, and I can feel that they were trying their best. One male cashier stands out for being energetic and upbeat, and the energy makes me feel welcomed. The store is generally clean and organized. The bathrooms are located on the right side of the entrance and is basic but functional. There were times when the bathrooms could use some cleaning regarding toilet paper pieces on the ground. There are 2 sets, one for the male and one for the female, with lockable doors. The recycling section has a variety of materials you can recycle. Sometimes, though, the plastic bag recycling bin can be full and left no room for us to drop off our recycling. Someone should clear out the bin more frequently. If you are just looking to do some grocery shopping, dropping off recycling and seeking other services without anything special and fancy, I recommend coming here.

Pharmacy-will never go back to this pharmacy for help or even a question. Was standing in line behind another customer. The young blonde pharmacist then closed the counter door after helping him while making eye contact with me and proceeded to the pharmacy desk to work. She knew I was there. I stood in line waiting for crucial assistance for surgery coming up this week while also dealing with this extreme heat. She then after several minutes went to another desk to help a customer who just walked up. Extremely rude. Will never go back to this pharmacy for help. We brought it up with a manager on site to immediately raise our concerns.

Horrible Apple Care experience. Dealing with the “Assistant Manager” Dave was an experience that makes me never returning to their store. On the other hand the Apple store in the mall was awesome and easy experience.

Jason H from the photo section was extremely helpful today! Stopped by to get my disposable camera developed. He made the interaction quick and personable. Jason even went above and beyond and found the batteries I was looking for all with a positive attitude.

Tonight when I went into London Drugs tech deparment, I was not the ideal customer. I was very frustrated with some technical difficulties I was having and was very obtuse with them. However, Joyce the technical department manager really treated me well. Listened to my problem and even when I made mistake in purchasing equipments that were not compatible. She gently rationalized with me that they might not be the right tools for my needs. Eventually I stopped thought about my problem returned what I bought and picked up the items she recommended. Now when I tested them they work above and beyond my expectation. Thank you for being patient with me and helping me. You are awesome. Best regards, Sam Joshva. B

The last 2 visits to this LD location have been really negative. I ordered online and picked up instore and was given the wrong item. I order 5 of the same bottles of baby soap. I was given 4 soaps and 1 lotion. Today I popped in to take my passport photo and the photo lab staff were really, REALLY unpleasant. I previously had my childrens' passport photos taken here and the gentleman who took their photo was great. The two who were working this morning were the complete opposite of that. The customer service was really poor today. I was asked about my LD rewards phone number, 3 times, only to be told there definitely ISN'T one associated with my phone number and I must be mistaken. After the 4th time repeating my phone number, they were able to locate my account.

Took an hour and twenty minutes to get a marriage license at the insurance desk on a Sunday with only three customers ahead of us. The worker at the desk was friendly, and apologized for the long wait, but not sure why they only have one person working on weekends.

Thank you so much. Bought a Tucci suitcase. It fell apart first time I used it. Tucci wanted me to ship it to Portland 500 km away. London drugs gave me a refund after 4 months. Made my day. Great store b

Bad customer services at the photo section!!! There’s a rude lady by photo section that wasn’t nice when I picked up my collage photo. I asked her to cut my photo because there’s a 6 photos on the collage, but she commented and acted so rude towards me. I don’t mean to be racist but she’s a black lady with glasses. Another one is I got charged $2.24 more than I had to pay on my pickup receipt. It’s $1.11 on the receipt but I was forced to pay $3.35. This time was with older man with beard and his reason was because I asked the collage photo to be cut and he said the extra charge is for cutting photo which it doesn’t make sense. Why there are several photos on the collage if they’re not meant to be cut, and why I have to be charged for it which the charge wasn’t mentioned on the receipt or photo machine at all. I sent email to London Drugs customer service from the website and they said that they don’t charge for photo cutting. So why the price from the photo machine is different from when I picked up the photo. That is a robbery!!!

Had to return a tripod and needed assistance with my exchange. Kelsey in the Camera department was very helpful and patient. We had several questions and needed help actually attaching the phone to the mount, Kelsey was all over it. Walked out with an upgraded product and actually understood what to do, after watching her. Another associate Dana who sold me the original was also very helpful and courteous. The type of customer service that makes you want to return. Thank you both, D. Anderson

Shayna and the electronics team were really helpful getting me the new sale price on the TV I bought three or four days ago. Fantastic customer service; they jumped through hoops for me and made sure I was satisfied. 100% recommend thus location; and also, they have some of the best prices on stuff when I compare with Bestbuy, Wal-Mart and others! Thank you guys, you earned all five of these stars! Sorry for the trouble!

This is my go to London drugs of choice! It has amazing stock full of things I need and want, everything from seasonal to food to furniture and decor. In the past I had visited the store and was lucky to find large hyacinth laundry baskets that I had been looking for everywhere. I had asked a sales associate if they happen to be on sale because they were very expensive, and to my surprise, she offered to give them to me at the last sale price! I was a very happy customer and have been coming back to this location ever since. I just did completed an online curbside pick up at this location and the whole process was smooth. The item was correct, just enough email updates, and there were clearly marked designated pick up stalls, and the associate came out quickly with my item. Yay for a Canadian store doing things right!

I brought in photo data with specific dimensions for a CD cover, knowing they wouldn't fit their existing print templates. However, Vibe and Jay from the photo lab department were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist my request. The tech department also provided great support, and the whole team was exceptionally friendly. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to express my gratitude. You guys are amazing and truly deserve recognition for your outstanding service! I'll definitely be returning for any future needs.

One black woman who work in the photo department is very rude and impatient. When I ask her questions, she yell at me and said:" I told you already." She said she didn't know why I was not happy with her. Excuse me, who will happy with her at that way? I said:" In fact, you are not nice to me." She argue:" no, I am very good." I said:" Ok, that is good." But I will never come back again to choose London Drugs to take any photo.

Worst London Drugs location EVER! I just went in to buy some gift cards for condolences for a coworker, so I had cash from a bunch of people that contributed. After waiting almost 15 minutes in line behind some seemingly complicated order another employee asked me to get in a different line at customer service that had like 8 people in it! I ended up just leaving my items and going elsewhere. Don't bother coming here, terrible service.

Went in to buy wireless headphones. Asked 3 sales associates for help they were all standing around having a personal conversation *loud enough for customers to hear* I asked for help got ignored and only when i went to leave did someone pull themselves away from their conversation to come ask us if we needed help at that point my husband tossed the product back on the shelf said no we are good and we went to Best Buy in same parking lot got excellent customer service and bought headphones. Correct me if im wrong but a place of work pays you to do a job not stand around and yak ignoring 5+ customers all trying to get their attention. Another guy trying to buy a TV was also visibility annoyed by no attention from SALES associate. I suggest Best buy dude they at least cared we were a customer 🤷🏻‍♀️

✅Compass Card machine, ATM If that's what you needed from a review, there ya go. Otherwise; Medicine selection is remarkably lacking and small for a company who has drugs in their name. Surprisingly alright fashion section? Beauty selection is very well curated and the space well used. Food and seasonal sections often have unexpected treasures and we love this location, especially, for it. Remarkably good housewares and appliances section. Electronics section feels borderline retro here and there with a lot of the in store items feeling outdated compared to online selection. Overall, it's a great mini Walmart but a terrible drug store. How this became their business model is beyond me.

I moved to Canada about six years ago from U.S., and for the first two years I never stepped into any London Drugs as I thought it was just a pharmacy or a Canadian version of Walgreens or Rite Aid, and I was wrong. This year I bought some camera gear, the sales team at this location are patient and VERY helpful. I can tell they love photography and studied a lot on the gears they are selling.

“ABOVE AND BEYOND” SERVICE!!! The battery in my iPhone 6 began to swell and separate the phone’s casing, and I needed to get it replaced immediately. (Yes - I will be buying a new phone soon...but not yet.) My city’s local London Drugs was not able to get a new battery for a couple of days, so I made an Apple appointment at the London Drugs in Langley on 66th Avenue (a 40 minute drive) after phoning to ensure that they had a battery in stock. They did!!! When I arrived for my appointment, Riley B greeted me happily, acknowledged my earlier phone call, and got the process going with the necessary paperwork while ensuring that my phone was prepared for the battery change. I was concerned about how long it would take, so Riley talked with Jacob S (who was going to do the “surgery”), and Jacob said he would do the replacement as quickly as possible, which could be 2 or 3 hours. I knew that Jacob was busy with other repairs, but I could not wait that long as I had received an important voicemail notification just before my phone was disabled. I needed to listen to that voicemail! I was so grateful when Riley went back to talk with Jacob, and was absolutely amazed when the phone was ready for me less than an hour later!!!Unbelievable!!! Riley and Jacob - all I can say is that you are SUPERSTARS, and turned what could have been a very stressful time for me into a reassuringly pleasant low-key appointment. THANK YOU!!! Thanks, too, to Mark for answering some other questions for me. Such amazing staff members!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered mason jar mugs with pictures and the pics are so transparent you can't see them. London drugs did nothing to help. There should be a warning on the description on how they turn out. Their recommendation is to drink milk in it!

I don’t usually give Google reviews, but had to acknowledge how helpful Danny was when I came in looking for a new camera. As a beginner with not much knowledge about DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, I really appreciated him taking the time to walk through options that fit my needs and price range. He went above and beyond answering my questions and finding me a camera despite low supplier stock. Thank you, Danny!

I have been a loyal customer of London Drugs since I found out they are the best place get my passport photo taken. The store is nice, clean, has ample products for my need, their customer service is incredible and I really enjoy shopping there. Not only do they have a large selection of products but their prices for some products are unbeatable!

We took our 10 month old baby to take passport photo. Danny is very professional and he got the photo done quickly and perfectly even though our little one wasn't in the mood. Photos were ready around 5 mins right after the photoshoot. We are very satisfied with the service. We will definitely come back if we need passport or ID photo again.

Went to pick up photos at the photo lab at 5:45 because that’s when they said it would be ready by. When I got there they said the order isn’t ready yet and that it would be done in 30 minutes but I had dinner plans so I said I would come back the next day. When I went back the next day they said that something was wrong with the system and that my order still wasn’t ready. They didn’t apologize once and was very rude.

What I love about LD is its selection of products. It is a great place to shop for snacks, healthcare/beauty products, and small kitchen appliances. They even sell bus tickets and passes. They are busy stores. Therefore, the wait time is usually a bit longer. Customer service (or lack of) doesn't seems to be as good as before. Hence the mid. rating. Lots parking. Short walk to public transit.

Really helpful service. We bought some headphones and Danny was super helpful and friendly! They were not only quick to help us but they also were super friendly! Also, we love the headphones! Thanks Danny and the London Drugs team!

Disappointing experience with Photo Lab staff today. Questioned about darker image print: while there has been a reasonable answer from the supervisor, the photographer became much rude in her behavior, and this is the same person who provided misguided information about digital link option. I had to once again pay full amount to get photographed again and got a better picture + an additional picture, but there seemed to be no real explanation about previous set. I believe LD Photolabs can do much better job at providing better photography service and pricing options, rather than trying to extort customers with confusing prices and unintelligible staff.

I recently went into the cameras section at the Langley location where Danny H helped me with a trade in-trade up transaction. You can always tell when salespeople are shooters as well. Danny was very courteous, knowledgeable and motivated to help me to buy the right product. I didn’t like the condition of one of the in stock lenses which would have taken a couple of weeks to come from the manufacturer. The next morning he went to a different store to pick up the lens for me. I wasn’t expecting such superb customer service from a retail chain store! 5 star all the way. Thank you Danny. I will be going back there for future purchases.
