My wife suggested this place and I am so happy she did! Absolutely fantastic food! Absolutely fantastic Belgian coffee! Absolutely fantastic service! We both had the breakfast waffles and I was amazed at what you get for the price you pay. My waffle had prosciutto, have already cheese, tomato on a delicious waffle and it only cost us $13. I've had coffee shops charge me the same for a"organic" sandwich and I was left dearly wanting 😒 The only wanting you'll have after going to Leon's is the want to go back again!

Had a great first visit here. Yummy Belgian waffle breakfast sandwich & latte! The space is so cozy and warm. It has a great atmosphere, perfect for coffee dates! The location is a little tucked away, but it’s worth the visit. I look forward to trying their dessert waffles! Their authentic Belgian waffles are great.

Leon's Cafe is an ever recurring trip that my friends and I make at least every week! They've got something for whatever mood you're in. Is it dreary outside and you need something to cheer you up? Grab a wonderful waffle. Is it a beautiful day and it's just time for lunch? Buy one of their fantastic sandwiches. They have a plethora of options for you to choose from, all with a French influence. The atmosphere alone makes dining in there a splendid experience. Personally, I would absolutely have to recommend the meatloaf sandwich as well as their incredible hot chocolate. This is truly a hidden gem of the White Rock/South Surrey region and I hope many more people can experience it!

Food tasted decent but definitely not worth the prices. Thought it was going to be an upscale restaurant with gourmet food due to the reviews, images, and prices but unfortunately that is not what we got. Our sandwiches were plain and cold. I got a tuna sandwich and it was just tuna and egg in-between 2 slices of white bread, not toasted or anything, for $13. Cup of soup was $9 (see images). For those prices I expected much more. The sandwich I got should have been $5. The taste was fine, but definitely not worth the prices. Two cold sandwiches and a tiny cup of soup for $38. Service was a bit slow as well considering there was only 1 other person in the restaurant, and it took 20 minutes for our 2 cold sandwiches and soup. It's not like they were making paninis. The servers were nice but the expectations and prices did not match.

Absolutely delicious food here, Brussels waffle was better than what we had in Belgium (which was amazing). Great pastries too, especially the apple tart and croissants. Super friendly owners and they source their cheese and sauce from Belgium. Good coffee. Loved that we had the option to sit outside. We will be back for sure.

Amazing drinks and wonderful meals. I really love the atmosphere here. The sandwiches offer gluten free option and it’s tasty. The drink I tried were well done. The Belgium chocolate mocha is delicious. It makes me really happy to be here and I wish I lived closer to the area so I will come everyday!

Great little cafe, conveniently located across the street from the Semiamhoo Mall. Great coffee, just like you expect from a place run by the owner (instead of a chain store). But the real star of the show are the ingredients. The owner uses quality imported meats in his sandwiches, and even exclusively uses cheese directly from monasteries in Belgium! You don't get that quality or passion at a chain store! Do yourself a favour and check it out. Take your bulk chain restaurant budget and spend it here instead: you'll be glad you did!

Lovely friendly cozy environment that makes you feel homey. Genuine Belgium waffle with both savory and sweet choices. Must try their chocolatey with or without coffee. Love the owner with his hospitality. Yummy food!

Shame that the cafe is tucked away and not very visible! The owner is super nice and friendly. We had a chocolate fondue for a very good price! The cafe is very quiet and has plugs for working. Highly recommend!

Wow! They served an impeccable, flawless, delicious, savory Brussels breakfast waffle. There was a sliced boiled egg, prosciutto, cheese, tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. The waffle was so light and fluffy. Real Belgian owned Belgian waffle place. They sell imported Belgian cookies too! Really liked it.

Exploring breakfast location in South Surrey and stumbled to this highly rated place. Best Belgian waffle I had for a long time - not too heavy and right fluffiness. The owner uses quality ingredients. The chocolate drizzle was smooth and not too sweet. I am not a big bacon fan but the bacon for the Milou breakfast waffle was smoked just right and not too fatty. We were given some Belgian chocolate sample and it was good. Great ambient and decor just to hang out over coffee and dessert. Only complain is there is no free parking at the building. Either have to park across the mall or the neighborhood street parking.

We went there for early lunch and had a delicious meal. It was fresh to order and the waffles were light and fluffy. The owner & front counter server were friendly. Overall a great experience and will come back to try their strawberries & waffles!

Hidden gem, highly recommend. Beautiful space inside and outside seating available. They do delicious waffles and sandwiches. Today, I had the curry chicken sandwich and it was superb. I now want to try all the other sandwiches. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Really nice owner and good food, waffles weren’t too sweet and sandwiches weren’t salty at all like some other places I’ve tried. Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem if you’re in the white rock area !

Amazing little place. Hidden away. You need to seek it out. The owner is friendly and the food is fantastic. We had a Croque Monsieur and a Campfire waffle. 100% we will be back to try more items. Hopefully this place gets some more exposure because it is one of the nicest little places in South Surrey.

I am happy to find a place where me and my partner would like to come here every weekend for breakfast. The Brussels Waffles is so delicious. I loved their coffee that I have to order another cup. Definitely will come back again!

Lovely place with calm atmosphere! I tried a couple things off the menu and everything tasted so fresh and balanced. The strawberry topped waffles with whip cream were by far the best waffles I've ever had, so so soft and fluffy with crispy edges. The curry sand-which was packed with flavours, perfect for someone who wants to try out something new or a bit spicy. The service and quality at the cafe is also top notch, Leon gets many of his Ingredient from Belgium too! It's the perfect little hidden gem in White rock!
