I bought 35mm film here and decided to take them up on their free development and scanning included. Big mistake. The scans of my newborn daughter came back as 500 kb jpegs. When I called them about it, they said it was because my images were underexposed or out of focus. Nonsense. There were indeed a few images that were underexposed / out of focus but that has very little to do with the fact that I should have received 6 mb TIFF files. They said they'd look into it for me and have them rescanned. I got busy with work, a month passed, and I followed up. They said they'd call me back but never did. I called them again two days later and they said the film lab had disposed of my negatives and blamed me for not following up sooner. They offered me a free roll of film with development and scanning. No thanks, I'd rather pay to have it done elsewhere.

Mark as the manager of the store was EXCELLENT. I would return for any of my photo services because of him. I had passport photos taken and he was pleasant, professional and efficient. Nice man with a hearty laugh and so personable. The store is clean with ample of free parking at the mall. Pricing of passport photos were about $17 - reasonable with a guaranteed re-done if any issues with a regulatory body. Recommend!

Their staff is really accomodating and responsive even on email inquiries. We ordered something which is out of stock and we need to pay 25% ofnthe item's price. Order will arrive within 10-15 business days and they will just contact us once the item arrives. They are very helpful and nice.

I was looking for passport photos and read good reviews about Kerrisdale Cameras near Metrotown and they didn’t disappoint. It was quick and efficient, the photos turned out good, and it is well-priced too. I paid around $16 incl tax for my passport photos and the whole process was under 10 mins. Excellent service, I highly recommend coming here. You can call ahead too they pick up the phone and will provide you with the information you need before arrival.

Just purchased my new EOS Canon R6 with 24mm-105mm F4 L lens. Two gentleman that worked there are such nice and knowledgeable product specialists. I walked in wanting to test the camera and walked out with camera in my hand 😁. They made sure I tested the camera with the exact lens I wanted to purchase and I felt no sales pressure. Friendly service, but I have been sold open box items twice as new, having to go back and get a price adjustment or the return the item for a new one. Also a ton of friction to get things price matched even though their policy outlines they price match all competitors. Very strange customer service practices, but the selection of gear is great.

Came here to take passport photos and it came out great! Good quality and lighting. Must be because they use professional camera here! I initially went to london drugs to take them and the lighting was horrible, made me look 10 years older. So glad I decided to retake them here instead!

Kind, courteous, professional. I did passport photos 3 times here. On the second time I was a bit worried about the photos being bounced back due to my hair getting in the way. I was able to retake the photos to get a better set! Thanks so much guys!

Normally I stop to give nice reviews to outstanding businesses but, this is the first bad review from me. Here I received the worst customer service ever!! The guy who “helped” me was completely rude, didn’t let me explain what I needed and then complained because I wasn’t clear with the type of photos that I came for (dude, y tried to explain it and you bluffed that you already know the specifications). Seriously, I didn’t leave just because I knew that this process wouldn’t take more than 2min and I’d never see this nasty person again.

Very helpful staff and a 10 percent discount for students like me! My film photos look excellent and beautiful. They also sell everything you need including film stocks, lenses, camera bodies, etc.

Had an excellent experience here. Came here for passport photos, along with photos for my international driver's license. Mark was extremely helpful and efficient, helping me take great photos in just one shot, and developed them within 5 minutes. I was in & out of the store in under 10 minutes. Pricing was also very reasonable. I will be returning again for all my photography needs in the future!

I have been a long-time customer of Kerrisdale Cameras in both the Main store and Burnaby locations. Krista at the Main Store is the best, full stop. Mark and his team in Burnaby are exceptional and I have always felt they value me as a customer no matter the size of the purchase. I refer to them as the "Mighty Burnaby Kerrisdale Cameras" they may be a small location but they are mighty in customer service. Shiraz is my go-to, he is always on top of things and is knowledgeable and helpful. I think it is safe to say Kerrisdale Cameras has the best customer service on the Lower Mainland. Give them a try, both used and new.

I was very satisfied with our first photo ID back in 2019. so I returned to the store last weekend, the photographer had a flashlight issue when he was taking my photo, and he changed the battery and retook it at least 5 times, my final photo still looked darker than my husband's. overall, Photo ID services are more affordable than most pharmacy stores.

I was helped by Mark the manager and Tanyo the sales associate and am pleased to annouce how friendly, helpful and kind they were! They answered all my questions with ease and helped me set up the camera I purchased. For any and all beginner photographers there isn't a store I could reccomend more for the following reasons. 1. The staff were very knowledgeable about the cameras in stock and which ones would be best for your level. 2. The kits included Body, lenses, battery + charger and lens caps. 3. The workers offered to take an hour to teach and go over the camera and how to use/edit the photos. They also offered to answer/help with any future photography shoots with their experience. 4. The student discount is amazing! They offer quite a few items at a lower price for new and young photographers. My one complaint is that I wish they offered a list of recommend purchases. I already have an SD card reader at home, but a new photographer may not know/have something so vital.

Amazing knowledgeable staff, went in for a passport and left with a charger and battery pack for my D90 Camera. This store gives Amazon a run for its money. Passport photo was done correctly and perfect.

I went there to take passport photos. After that, I wanted to print a different passport photo that I had used for my online visa application. I thought it might come in handy if they asked for it during my visa interview. But guess what? Things went totally crazy after that. I handed over my flash drive containing the passport photo that I wanted to print out. The guy who took the passport photo for me accidentally opened the wrong photo and was like, "Oh, man! This is BAD!" The shadow in the background wouldn't pass the quality check. I was like, "Yeah, but that's not the photo I want to print. Can you please go to the subfolder and find the right one?" Then I showed him the right photo, but for some weird reason, he couldn't open it with the app he was using. And get this, he kept staring at the wrong photo and saying, "This is so bad! It won't pass!" I'm like, "Dude, that's not the one I want to print!" So, this guy and I had the same conversation like a million times. I finally asked him if I could just use the computer to open the right thing. But he said: "Yes, I do mind." Then I asked him to reopen the application, but he didn't do it and kept saying the photo was bad. I tried to tell him he wasn't opening the right one, but he was like, "Okay, let me do it myself." Then he started searching through my folder for the photo. He found my resume and was like, "Oh, is this your resume?" I was rolling my eyes in my mind - it's none of your business! In the end, he just couldn't open the right photo and kept saying the wrong photo he opened was BAD, and asked what’s wrong with the passport photo he just took. I explained again, the photo I was trying to print out was on my online application, and I wanted to print it out just in case. I left without printing out my photo because I didn’t want to waste my entire afternoon telling him that he opened the wrong photo, and I felt like he was giving me a hard time on purpose. To be fair, the passport photo service is ok, two hard copies with timestamp on the back for $15 before tax. But if you want to print out your own passport photo, GOOD LUCK.

Just visited here to take ID photos. The photographer was very polite and helpful. He's really taking care of my photo requirements and giving very helpful suggestions. Best place for ID photo I've ever visit. Five star no doubt.
