If I could give ZERO stars I would!! This place is DISGUSTING!!! These rooms are so dirty and have remnants of the previous tenants. They will charge you double pet fees as well as charge you more than posted rates online. There are cigarette burns in the carpet and blanket. No mini fridge available and no coffee makers. This place is gross! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I have pictures of the disgust as well!!!!

Management was cleaning it up . It was looking good... I stay here often. This time I asked for a room near office but the smoke smell is strong over here. Room 209 pounded on walls all night . Slammed doors all night yelled screamed...fighting.. Sounded like a war zone over there.. first time ever there were roaches in our room . I told the office. Roaches in hallway near 209 . This side of motel is worse than the other side.. website says you get a deposit back we have never seen a deposit. We been here 5 to 6 times

The lady in office was very nice. They have a policy as to where people with dogs all go to the second floor but she made an exception for me and let me be on the first floor right by the door because I have a oxygen machine. The rooms were were average I had to do a little cleaning up for to be comfortable but they were quiet not a lot of riff Raff in the parking lot it was nice and quiet and comfortable.

This is one of the worst most nastiest hotel/Inn I ever stayed in. OMG it was brown stains on the shower curtains, crude in between the tiles in the bathroom! I physically got sick to my stomach. Bedding were worn with cigarette holes on spread, nasty stained chair. Something brown stuck to the wall in a big glob! This was just down stairs in the room I was assigned. This place is awful.

The first room we got, it looked like the room had been cleaned, but the bed was unmade. The clerk then look confused, yet gave us another room. Not the cleanest, but it was better than the previous places we stayed in. My husband saw a young man climb into the window. The place was sketchy. The owner joked about my husband driving him around in his truck, as we assume he meant he liked it. However, he just kept repeating it in different ways. Kinda strange. The hallway looks like a daunting tunnel. Weird smells. We won’t go back though.

This in not a HOTEL, it’s a TRAP HOUSE. Absolutely disgusting. When we first called for a price we were told $50. Upon arriving we were told $74 which included a pet fee. They actually charged my card $75. There were people yelling down the hallway all night and long time resident’s hanging out all around the building. I’m actually shocked my car was still there in the morning. The doors do not lock. The rooms were filthy. The bedding had not been changed. Do not stay at this place. There should be a health code violation, and they need to be put out of business. Pics attached.

The rooms cost to much for what you get. They are definitely not clean at all and things in the room mismatched it's gone way down hill since the last time I was there years ago over 25 years ago to be exact but I wouldn't stay here again I would rather sleep in my car

Okay so a lot of people don't like this hotel but I personally am a fan if you book it online through one of them hotel apps it's like 50 bucks you can't beat that. the service was absolutely excellent. the night shift guy is Awesome .the room was clean enough for $50 And I didn't have any problems. And the hotel is ducked off to the side on Poe Avenue away from all the traffic and riffraff from Miller lane , it's discreet and secluded and I like that.

Nice place for a hotel, whatever this place is it shouldn't be labeled hotel, motel, etc. The owners at the window are downright rude, disrespectful, and should never be allowed to interact with customers. Then the rooms are the bare minimum of cleanliness. There's no accommodations, no breakfast of any kind even though it's advertised. Perfect for rent by the hour rooms if u know what I mean. Couldn't even give this place a whole star if I could help it. If your in a pinch try to go anywhere else but here.

Horrible place, the manager saw that I had several bags and was very tired so he gave me a room on the far opposite side of the building upstairs, next to a room that is under construction so i have heard banging since yesterday. Crack heads coming and going all night knocking on doors in this motel. Do not go here!!!! I AM PUTTING A STOP PAY ON MY CREDIT CHARGES FOR THIS STAY!! I want a full refund! This place is disgusting, The bed springs poke through the mattress. Place smells like smoke and urine. GROSS PLACE DO NOT GO!!

We come here all the time but this time around we get charged double the amount and fighting to either get a room to cover the extra money that was taken out or to give our money back. We waited 3 hours for the manager to come to our location so we can figure out why it charged more but, they are calling us liars that the payment didn’t double even though we have proof that it was charged double the amount. I’m sorry but this would probably be the last time we are staying at this location because of this experience. I hope who ever stays here don’t have to go through this because this is not right you want people to come and stay at a hotel but yet you want to play games nah I’m not doing that. Don’t recommend after this experience.

I've been to this hotel several times in my life, and I've got to say that they're doing an amazing job right now. If you've ever had a negative experience I'd definitely recommend staying again, because they've really made this place into a great place to stay! Wonderful customer service, with very nice employees, a clean and welcoming environment, vending machines and the ability to buy cold drinks at the desk as well, reasonable prices, comfortable beds, and they've done a great job of keeping things like drugs and unsavoury behavior out. This is a clean, warm, safe environment; great job on turning this place into a place people want to stay and focusing on customer satisfaction! 😊 ***I'd like to say that they do require a deposit for non-smoking rooms though.($20)

Stay was August 4-8th, 2022 I have only one positive thing to say about this location. I was able to pay for a room for my mom with a credit card online but also because we needed to extend her stay for 2 days they were able to take cash as well. Not too many hotels still take cash as a form of payment. But that is where the positivity ends. The room she was in was on the 1st floor not too far from where the office is located. Right away she saw that there was an issue with the lock on the door that she brought up to the front desk and they claimed that they would go check it out and fix it but they never did. That was unacceptable!! Also she could not use the the mini fridge that was in the room because 1....It smelled and 2.....it didn't keep anything cold. When she brought that up to the front desk they told her that she can get another one in the room but she would be charged $10!! If they knew that mini fridge did not work then they should have replaced it automatically. It seems as if they are money hungry and won't provide the basic necessities. The sink did not have a stopper so she had to let the water run to wash up. And there were no microwaves in the rooms. There was a community microwave out in the lobby area which to me seems very unsanitary. In essence I guess you get what you pay for.

I looked up pricing for many hotels online this one saying it would have costed $54 for a 2 queen bed suite. I hated how it looked but it was the cheapest option so I went with it as we are traveling and don't have the money for much else. When I get there the price was $75 and a $20 dollar deposit fee. None of which are refundable. The bathroom has mildew on the ceiling and yellowed tiles that could use a better cleaning. The beds looked fine, but the hallways reeked of weed and the carpets felt sticky. It is not worth $75 at all and I wish I would've looked around more before just settling.

I live 45 mins away, I spent weekends here because my son is in Dayton, well I always pay online and that’s always a problem, they ALWAYS try charging 10/20 extra for any reason it doesn’t matter. They will make u check out and pay an extra 20$ to check right back in if you use online. This last time I PAID for late checkout and was KICKED out by an older short Indian woman who was screaming names at me saying I was crazy I didn’t understand I had to check out to check back in but I was explaining I paid for late checkout not staying again! She threatened me with cops I said I would call too. She called me several names to other guests and in front of my 7 year old son. Nothing has been done to the “owners” who also live on site and have completely ignored every maintenance objection. The night I stayed last our heater didn’t work and we almost froze ! I’ve contacted corporate and got a response saying they’ll “investigate” also submitted a report with BBB ! The owners should be ASHAMED ! Disgusting customer service ! Rude nasty people ! Every time ! UPDATE Harry called me, apologized, made it right by me & I appreciate HIM, but the people they have working in there are the rudest nastiest people, I truly think a change in who’s in front serving guests would make a huge difference to guests !

Booked off Expedia for the proximity to other places on our weekend activities itinerary and because it looked like it had a hot tub in the room (which it did, and was the only saving grace.). Aside from the hottub, it was a bit like camping. For a king room they provided exactly two of the saddest limp 2 inch flat pillows you've ever seen (hair clip in photo for comparison) and exactly two towels, for two people. When we asked for additional THEY SAID NO. I ended up rolling my coat under the pillow like some cattle rustler on the trail and for the second night we actually stopped at the nearby Walmart and bought our own pillows. We asked for additional towels as there were two people with long hair for two nights and a hot tub in the room and they said we could only have clean towels if we turned in the existing towels to the front desk. We also had to ask for toilet paper. Shouldn't be a surprise, but they don't have things like soap or shampoo, or the promised continental breakfast (which I anticipated.) There's no coffee maker in the room, no vending machines we saw anywhere, so you're very much on your own for gathering all supplies. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillow situation shouldn't be a BYOP. It wasn't that "value priced" to be that bad. It was $256 for two nights on the outskirts of Dayton. Cmon now. The positive thing I can say is that we brought some bottles and enjoyed the hot tub.

If I could leave a zero I would. I stayed there a week my sheets were not changed. I don't even think they have housekeeping. I had to go to the office to get new towels. Shut them down NOW!!

I had no were to go, I used to leave in Vandalia for 2 and half years , schools were great . So I stayed at the knights in the room was disgusting , for nasty , I turned there bed comforts in to them to wash and in few days went to get them , I was giving some brown blankets and I woke up at 3:34 bitten up by bedbugs , ran them blankets down the hall , and went to Walmart , my wallet was stolen but that was my fault for letting another person use my cell phone wich she took as well. Then , they were going to throw me out for calling police , I had too make a police report. I stayed cause I had no choice but only seen 2 bedbugs after , cause I also cleaned the whole 15 days and was out at 11:00 am , but all the staff were very rude except , started to relate with two cleaning people but they only cleaned the other rooms , I noticed ,,,,what they were told to do and paid to do . But management were mainly the rudest people I scrubbed walls and cleaned the floor by had bought my own blankets and I had my own towels and wash clothes and I ask for my deposit and I didn't get a dime .He said cause I was in a smoking room , he didn't said that on the phone nor did he say that in person , when I checked in . I returned to staff the room two keys I had and sat outside for 8 hours cause my wallet being stolen I didn't have any money for transportation . I told him all I did was clean , I even bought my own cleaning supplies , before wallet was taken , and they new the woman that stoled from me cause 5 to 6 hours later she was checked into a room 4 or 5 doors down . And I and another woman heard the same manager , he said name was Sam , say Americans are stupid and crazy , she said a few things to him but I just continued to get my belongings out of the room

Stayed downstairs a couple times and had no bad experience with any bugs or it being dirty. But when I stayed upstairs I had to switch rooms twice and still found roaches and flys and even pincher bugs coming under the door. Not going to be coming here anymore; please do yourself a favor and try and get a room on the 1st floor if you even decide to stay.

there was bugs, blood on the bed and wall, writings on the wall and cuss words written on the wall, sketchy hallway that smells like weed, sketchy downstairs, Mold on the walls, random stains on the walls too. Hated staying there. Never go to this hotel because of this experience! Plus the guy was sketchy as well:) they should actually clean the rooms so people would be satisfied with their stay.

This has become my runaway spot never seen bugs or nastiness. The tubs are amazing. I was disappointed in my last stay the jets in the tub didn't work and that's a big thing for me.

As far as I know and I've looked around pretty darn well it is the best price in North or South Dayton. And very quiet. I have never seen a bug or a mouse. Sometimes the young man behind the counter speaks like a maitre at a five-star hotel in a movie.

  • 1/5 Jackson S. 11 months ago on Google
Do not ever and I repeat EVER go here! Had mice the first few days there, told the staff and switched rooms only to turn on the light in the new room and see more, had bed bugs that I had to take care of myself and the place embarrassingly enough gave me scapies and when I conferred this info to the staff they tried to say that I brought it there, went in without scapies came out with them and they didn't want to take responsibility. Then tried to offer me a $5 discount on my room and then tried to say they never offered that. Here is pics of the mouse trap they gave me personally after seeing the mice for the second time, the rash, the droppings and the squished bed bug I had to kill. I just needed somewhere close to my job while looking for a apartment and this place completely left me feeling disgusted, tricked, and lied to. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Also you can't use the phone on the room even to call 911 just saying

  • 2/5 Cassandra P. 1 year ago on Google
The owner was rude. Called me a liar. Wouldn't refund my deposit. Said I messed up the room. I did not do this. I called the corporate office and was promised a call back with two days. Never received a call. Horrible. I wouldn't take my dogs fleas to this place.

My escape room at the Murder Mystery Motel was easy to leave. The room suggested I was not welcome. The mirror was out of its frame, bathroom door hanging off the hinges - couldn't be closed, the bedspreads were stained, room smelly. Stay somewhere else.

  • 1/5 Sean H. 7 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
This place is a trap . They will change their price for any reason. Their hallways smell all the time . The room I booked smelled like dog piss. They also have roaches and mice. It is a dump. Beds even have a smell not a good place at all . The only good thing about it is leaving.
