One of the best airports I've ever seen. Many stores for variety of needs. There are free zip locks on a security check (in some other airports you can buy 1 zip lock for 2 EUR(!) They have free cold & hot water, sockets almost everywhere, many different places to sit and to lay down (for those who have a long layover).

Good Airport! The best thing is it’s open 24 hours so you can sleep at the airport too (if there’s an early morning flight). They didn’t stamp my passport (that was bit strange to me). Overall it’s nice, calm. Didn’t find it crowded.

A lovely Nordic style airport, but with everything closed due to Covid, you must avoid flying via Finland right now. Helsinki airport, specially for passengers flying long international flights will be in for a disappointment. Most shops and restaurants are closed. The few that are open, close by 5 pm. So most passengers are just hanging around near the gates. While one understands this restriction in the country, to have the same silly rule for an international hub is bizarre. Passengers are asked to leave the lounges by 6 pm and then have to wait long hours. No coffee shops or even the Kioski is shut. It's a real shame. Finnair must re look at their schedule so no one is inconvenienced. Avoid Helsinki airport at all costs, as long as strange covid restrictions make it a very unwelcoming hub to transit through.

One of the nicest airports I've ever been to. Pretty, great food options, efficient. Can't ask for much more. Loved all the local shopping options that, while yes they had the useless tourism trinkets, all also had a lot of really very cool things that I'm excited to bring home!

Well structured and everything very clean compared to many German airports. Beautiful finair lounge and relatively short distances and good shopping facilities complete the positive overall picture.

Small airport. Not crowded at all. Good shops and places to eat. Mostly shops close at 17:30 which is strange. Never seen such a early closure.

Helsinki airport is a nice airport. Well lit and spaced out. Great brands and offers at Duty free and local brands too. It is a major hub with connecting flights to other European destinations. It also has connecting flights to USA

The Airport is so big and can handle so many people. Checking in and security checks are faster and you don't need to take electronics or any items out of your bag during security check. It's very neat and spacious. Aesthetically beautiful ❤️

Very efficient airport. Nice design, clean and comfortable. Easy and smooth connection to central Helsinki. The only downside is shops and lounges close early.

One of the best airports I ever been. Other capital airports can only wish to be like this one. Clear information about the gates can be found anywhere. Installations are pristine clean. Security gate is fast to go through, they have state of the art scanners, you don’t need to take any liquids from your luggage. Access to the airport is easy by public transportation (train and bus gets you to Helsinki centre in less than one hour). Toilet is clean.

Good local stores n cafes! Battalion suggestions: make lounges more easily accessible; unable to go to loungekey lounges because on the other side of passport control 🛍🛏☕️

A very good airport with ample USB and cable sockets for you to charge mobile devices. The airport is very clean and modern. I would recommend this airport for transit, or layover and visit Helsinki altogether. Airport to Helsinki city central cost around 4 EUR and 40 minutes, which is very convenient for traveling going in for short stay in Helsinki. Beyond the passport control, only quite a handful’s of duty free shops are open at 10am. If you are traveling on an early flight you might want to get breakfast before passport control or use the lounge facilities. Important note: The WiFi is good 😊

Helsinki Airport is a wonderful place to get connected flights. well built and great architecture so spacious. You will get everything that a person need when traveling like charging ports. You will find so lovely and beautiful people around you. I love the European vibe if I would have time I must visit Finland.

Decent airport if you look from outside. But as a country's main airport the service is not up to the mark. Very few seats for transit passengers and some of these seats are designed in a very bad way(so that people cannot sit for long😅) So far the washrooms are good. The security control is strict and people have to wait for a long time! ( Better take time for your transit flight). They have free wifi Charging station Affluent amount of stores to buy things And other basic infrastructures to run a airport Taking about the airport authority and stuffs Very helpful ☺️ Now about the metro There is a metro station exactly under the airport.
