Calm the earlier in the day you have time to go. Good (~clean) facilities and a big plus is the cold pool, which turned out spectacular. Lots of saunas. Basic alcohol and cocktails, as well as food. Adequate customer service. Sorry for the bad pictures. Expensive but good spa.

Hotel Ok,, the changing rooms in the spa are clean and good. Lots of slides and ok pools. No neck massages etc. points in pools. The big shortcoming is the expensive price compared to the fact that there is only one sauna, for example for men. For an additional fee, you can go to the k-18 department, which probably has more saunas, but maybe the younger ones would also like to enjoy different saunas. For example, there are various saunas in Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta and Vuokatti. Flamingo could improve a bit in this regard

Due to renovations the visitation is only about the adult spa. Have your own towel and swimwear as they are obligatory. Otherwise, you can rent/purchase some from reception. Also you can buy different services like massage etc. which have their own spaces available. Caution: the wet floors may be slippery! Special groups have different prices than regular visitors. Pensioners, students and unemployed (show statement and id) are some. At the time of visit (16.8.2023) the regular price is 34€/4hrs. Special is 17€/person/4hrs. This is very good ethically to care for people in sometimes challenging life situations. Look up the website for more information. The locker rooms are open, spacy and well lit. The lock works with the RFID bracelet. There are toilets (near the pools too). There is table for changing diapers for babies. The aisles are lit with dimmed lights which have a great effect on the whole atmosphere and feeling. All the spaces: saunas, pools, showers and service counter areas are lit the same way. Of course there is some variation between all but the style/theme is coherent. It's well designed and true to the theme all around. There's a mineral water pool, +34C. That has jacuzzi style point on one end. On the other end you can join a virtual excercise Hydrohex. Music is played both above and below surface, they were different from each other. The center pool is a warmwater pool, +37C. Interesting bit is the 'Avanto' cold pool, a mere +8C water to refresh and repair your body. There is a large shower at the side and a Sauna 'Pyry' +70C, a gentle and relaxing one after the cold dip. Large steam sauna, +50C, 'UTU' was closed due to repairs. 'USVA', +50C, a refreshing and brighter lit steam sauna is near the warmpool. 'SUMU' a misty steam sauna is opposite to the 'USVA', dimmer lit, +50C and a more relaxing one. 'SYLI' is a cleansing salt sauna at +70C. A little reminiscent of a salt cave atmosphere wise. 'TERVA' is a recovering tradition sauna. You can smell the tar which for me is a very nice scent. It is at +80C. 'LUMOUS' is a yoga sauna at +45C. I could easily recommend starting from here with light stretching as it is pretty cool compared to other saunas. 'SISU' is a traditional sauna and operated at +80C. Here you can put your tolerance of heat to the test by throwing a bit more water to the stones. Snacks, drinks, mocktails and other beverages are pretty expensive. But a smoothie at 7.90€ is pretty closely prices to Jungle Juice Bar prices. Aura Beer 8.90€, is quite expensive. You can open a tap by buying drinks etc. with the bracelet and pay when you leave. Toilets and showers were tidy and well kept. Maybe because the time of visitation was Wednesday between 13.31-17.02 there were less people, it was not so dirty and messy? I could easily expect a different situation with more people, as unfortunately, many people don't care about others. All in all, it was a very relaxing visit with attending the nearly half an hour Hydrohex excercise (included in entrance price). I can easily imagine visiting this place again when the water park is open.

Flamingospa, although it is still a spa with great surroundings and clean facilities, is still starting to suffer a little from time and is slowly starting to require renovation, modernization and a facelift. Still a nice place, although quite expensive.

It's okay, too many people for my taste in the days between Christmas. On the water park side, a lot of screaming ipanos, as it should be. A bit diluted for adult taste, I expected more. On the adult side, too many people and couples in small huts spawning, some strange jumper. The milieu is much rockier than the muxu side 😅 Nice saunas, 2 pools. I would come again, but not during the holiday season. Yrttiballero massages are really cool, I missed the use of more force, I guess that wasn't the idea in that treatment. 😁 I recommend the k-18 side 👍

It's a place where a lot of people go every day. It means that more of one and the other has been added to the water than usual. This means that if you have sensitive skin, it is not good to stay in the pool water for a long time. Then you can be active - you get to go down the slide. With or without a tube. There are four options. Feel the joy and enjoy, but beware of children who try one thing and another. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The air is comfortably warmer in the pool area. One sauna next to the showers, if you don't buy 18+ tickets now, where there are more of them. There is food in the pool area and up the stairs you will find Hesen. Free tap water available in the back corner of the cafe. I wouldn't go every week now, but a few times a year I could have fun.

Wasn’t expecting such good facilities. Very child friendly and plenty to do inside. Had great fun with my 4 year old. Apparently there is adult only section too, perhaps will visit again without the little ones :)

Amazing place to relax, swim, message and restaurants all in one place. The water is warm. They have adult side for couples and the other side for family with kids. We had such a fabulous time on slide and so on. Not forget to mention they have hesburger inside too.

The review concerns the spa for adults: There were a lot of people on Tuesday afternoon/evening, you had to queue for the pools, saunas and showers. Should we perhaps limit entry and serving alcohol per nose? Couples frolicking and spawning in pools. The water is quite dirty. The bottoms of the pools were yellowed and calcified, which was an unpleasant sight. However, the saunas were wonderful. The surfaces of the pools and heated chairs are chipped and the whole place needs renovation. Garbage and plastic glasses all around. The pool bar was too expensive and it lacked proper coffee machines, only capsule coffee. The pool bar's menu was screaming for renewal. They use disposable plastic cups with a water point, which is probably not very ecological. After all, almost all customers had their own flip flops on their feet, maybe it should be made mandatory. Nice offers at the treatment point. Friendly service.

We were in the adult spa. A perfect place to relax. A lot of different saunas to try out and I loved the saltwater pool where you could float and listen to underwater music.

I recently visited Flamingo Spa with my family and had an absolute blast! It was a fantastic experience filled with laughter and excitement. The highlight of our visit was definitely the slides – we couldn't get enough of them! The spa provided an excellent environment for everyone, from the little ones to the grown-ups. The slides were thrilling and safe, guaranteeing endless fun for all ages. Seeing the smiles on my family's faces as we zoomed down the slides was priceless. We truly had a memorable time bonding and creating lasting memories together. Moreover, the staff at Flamingo Spa were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They made us feel welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed for a fantastic day. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, which further added to the overall positive

Nice place. There could be more pools for the adult area, as it's getting very crowded during rush hour. Love the mineral water pool with music inside.

A very comfortable and modern spa experience! There is something for children to do for many hours, and the adult spa department is perfect for relaxing with a partner, for example. I don't know a similar place, where you can enjoy a drink by the pool, and you can go to the special saunas to warm up. For one star, I am withdrawing from the service: I bought tickets from one offer, but we did not get to use these tickets in the planned period. The customer service did not agree to give any kind of refund (even a small discount) for the following tickets, so I had to buy the tickets twice.

We visited the Adult area of the Flamingo spa. It has two very nice warm pools and a cold water pool. Eight different saunas and two bars. And of course the day spa facilities. I liked the big sitting pool a lot. It was comfortably warm and the athmosphere was most relaxed. The only minus is that the place is definitely not cheap. The tickets on Saturday are 44e for 4 hours. Also the day spa services are quite expensive though the quality is good.

The water park has been experienced in half an hour. The sauna is out of order, and there is an extra charge for adults. Food supply really weak. The city's swimming hall gives a better experience.

  • 3/5 Niina S. 5 months ago on Google • 69 reviews
Unfortunately, the level of the Flamingo spa has decreased. Sure, there are a lot of people there, but the washrooms are quite crowded and untidy. Only one sauna is quite a bit for a spa and the men's side didn't even have both heaters on when we visited. The music playing in the pool area is drowned out by the general noise and it creates an unpleasant cacophony. However, children like the spa activities and the water is pleasantly warm. In my opinion, it still needs enhancement as a whole, like Serena level these days.

The adult spa needs whirlpool tubs and a comprehensive renovation, also in terms of interior design and lighting. The mineral pool needs a power wash because the drains have a brown stain on the tiles. Spa Cafe's menu needs to be reformed and the drink offers maybe also a more customer service-oriented approach. Respa always has a friendly reception 👍🏻

The spa in general is relaxing and good thing that they separate the water park and adult spa. For the price its too pricey and they also limit the stay for 4hrs. Plus, the rental of bathrobes/towels, you need to pay separately. Overall, you have to pay 45€+/person. The saunas needs updating and renovations.

The experience was ok. A couple of notes, the swimming supervisors of the water park did not intervene when the young men were swimming in boxers. I was still chatting with the men when I pointed out that you can't take small children to the water slide (under 10 years old) so I wondered how he didn't say anything about this. You know what bacteria gets into the pools when you go swimming in dirty boxers. Props to the second lifeguard (about 35 years old short haired man) the child had lost his parents and he helped the child very considerately and was very kind! It was great to see that the staff can handle these situations professionally! The spa side is full of empty mugs here and there, so the cleaning could be improved a bit. The saunas were great. At the restaurant in the water park, we waited about 35 minutes for €6 french fries, which is a bit long for only French people. The employee at the spa bar was a bit cranky, otherwise the service was great.

Family side is much nicer than, the adult spa. Adult spa in need of renovations. In one sauna had no ceiling paneling in place and all the steam rooms where not warm enough. Not worth your money...

My partner and I went to the spa and amusement park on Saturday. I had bought us a "time for love" package that included a herbal ball massage, it was wonderfully relaxing, I always wish for massages to be a little harder so that the places would open up. After that, the package included clay masks and magic in the room with glasses of champagne, it was wonderful to be there just the two of us. My favorite sauna was the cold one across from the pool, the others were a bit unspeakable except for the tar sauna and the fire was too strong even with the smaller pools. We ate burgers and parmesan fries on the spa side, really good! Customer service 5/5 is not bad to say. All in all, a good experience, if we hadn't received bathrobes with the spa package, it would have been cold when moving from the pool to the pool/saunas. The pina colada was 6/5, although the prices could be a little more affordable. The floors are quite slippery with slippers. Everything went smoothly and quickly. It is not a high-quality spa, but quite relaxing/entertaining this time:) I would come again

It was an amazing experience! The kids didn't want to leave. You'll love it especially if you like swimming but font like cold water. We visited on a weekend and it was not as crowded as I had expected.

I visited for my birthday on January 4th. Very nice place especially the sauna ritual and very good service from the sauna master I think his name was Olli I was the only one in the big group who didn't know enough Finnish and he translated only for me in English , Thanks a lot. I’ll be back

Great relaxing experience! Long wait for cocktails but I wouldn't expect it any other way over the weekend. I do not recommend the food though. You don't go to spa for a culinary experience for sure...

Well, if only it wasn't crowded! The spa is supposed to be a place to relax, get intimateaybe with a partner. Instead, we spend our time trying not to bump with people whenever we go!

  • 4/5 Tuure P. 2 years ago on Google
I like this SPA a lot. However, I think some places there could have little bit of upkeep. At least last time one of the saunas didn't work and it was bit dirty. Also I feel it would be nice if they had for example a proper selection of tea. It would be sad if this turned out just to be a bar little by little.

  • 4/5 Filip R. 1 year ago on Google
Visited the adults section. Really nice selection of saunas and pools. Relaxing atmosphere. The food is to be avoided. It was horrid tasting and cold thus losing a star on this rating.

  • 5/5 Minna N. 1 year ago on Google
Maximum 4 hours for swimming and enjoying saunas. I recommend the Adults SPA for couples and small groups of friends. The selection of saunas is excellent.

  • 3/5 Hilda H. 1 year ago on Google
A lovely spa for adults and children, but the so called "huoltoviikko" for the spa, would be a little bit better when it's not a holiday season :)

  • 2/5 Sami H. 1 year ago on Google
A good place to get warm but too small and crowded to be a relaxing spa trip. Needs more individual pools and bigger saunas. Would give 3 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

  • 2/5 Yijie X. 1 year ago on Google
If you're expecting a luxurious, intimate experience - this isn't it. Packed full of folks, dirty water (probably give you a rash), and several pools and saunas were lukewarm. The hottest sauna can be found in the changing room. It's also situated far from the city, and is hard to reach. The one saving grace is that one of the steam saunas was quite warm. If you're looking for a better time, check out backby manor.

  • 1/5 Andreas M. 1 year ago on Google
Full of people you need to queue even to go to Sauna. Let's don't even talk about how many kids and family is in the "vesi puisto" it was a ocean of bodies... I do not recommend to go there when there is holidays season

  • 4/5 Heidi S. 1 year ago on Google
If you go on a week day before 16 it's not crouded at all. On a good day you may be able to enjoy the saunas without anyone else. Even tho theres only few pools I find it enough. The only minus side is that you can't pay only for the spa side and I find the waterpark unnecessary. But if you are a student etc u get a nice discount and it's not that expensive.

Loppujen lopuksi kuitenkin sai nauttia koko rahan edestä.

Nice spa, but often crowded! Has water slides and pools. There is a cafe in the spa where you pay with the same band what you use to lock your locker in the dressing room.

Spacious, clean. We were on weekdays. there were no queues. There were plenty of free toys for the kids. Inside there is a cafe, payment when leaving the establishment. But it's cheaper (and more choice) to eat after, in the mall.

Loved it here. Middle relax pool was super cool. You can bring your beer to it too. Lovely range of saunas and steam rooms. The pool upstairs was my favorite. It was huge. Listen out for the under water music. Super cool feature. Relaxed atmosphere 4hrs is more than enough time. Quality. Bar area was OK. Prices were a bit silly compared to quantity of drink. But drink was good quality. Would return for sure. Think it was €34 pp for 4hrs. Nit too badly priced.

  • 4/5 Margarita R. 11 months ago on Google
The adult area was incredible and relaxing. The kid area was super fun, although there should be more lifeguards as there are places where accidents could happen and they would not be able to see (for example the whirlpool).

  • 2/5 Errol T. 10 months ago on Google
The water was cold. The jacuzzi produces some bubbles, then all of a sudden stops... and then, you just have to wait, and wait and wait. Out of the two jacuzzis only one has really warm water. Needless to say, the warm jacuzzi gets crowded. Waste of time and money. We were in and out in about an hour.

The Adult side is cozy, nice baths. Nothing too fancy, but should get one relaxed after a hard day. Common side is mostly the childrens waterpark.

  • 4/5 Michael A. 1 year ago on Google
Nice water park and spa. There is quite large water park where is small child section and ofcourse teen's and adult's have few water slides and even pool for water balloon game's etc. Adults have own spa section which is very quiet where customer's can relax. There's few different pools and also different kind saunas. You can also get few different massage which are pretty relaxing.

Overpriced for the supply. One of the worst spas I've been to if you compare the price-quality ratio. For a family of four, €120 for 4 hours of swimming meant two visits for us - the first and the last! Never again please.

An okay water park, but small. Especially during the winter holidays, the cabins were full. The four-hour time limit is probably intended to limit the number of people, but is wrong in relation to the price of the ticket. The same amount (or less) is paid in most water parks for unlimited use all day. There is nothing else to complain about, on the contrary. The staff was knowledgeable and really helpful. In addition, the food in the spa cafe was reasonably priced and good, it's really not worth going up to the Hesburger upstairs.
