We were privileged to be the 1st tourists to the Holiday Inn after covid closures. There were 12 of us ranging in age from 73 to 1. Sophia and her team had made a huge effort to have as much as possible up and running....everyone was happy and smiling! Yes, it is a little tired, but we had a fabulous time. The grandchildren are already planning the next visit!! Thankyou Tamas !!!

This place is great for a family vacation. We wrestle there just after Christmas and my kids love it! The pool is really nice they have a kids activity room to keep kids busy while parents do other thing in the resort. The food in the restaurant is nice but they need more variety. Its a buffet so you can eat as much as you like. Kids eat for free so this is a plus! I will definitely recommend it.

Do not get the garden view rooms if you have a family of 4. It's incredibly cramped with a paint smell. Due to this issue we were upgraded to a lagoon view room which was a bit more spacious than the other room and also had no paint smell. Staff can be a bit forgetful and the wifi barely worked.

I stayed 7 nights with my daughter and loved it. The service was Impressive staff were genuine and very friendly but that's how it is in Vanuatu. My kettle leaked all over the floor no drama l had a brand new one in 15 minutes, was a little chilly no problem a spare blanket delivered to the room asap. Only two things l can nit pick about the drinks are very very expensive, and the live music is not every night and when it is it finishes at 9pm in my opinion that's a little early. Apart from that l recommend staying here whilst visiting this beautiful country

We had just the best stay with our adult children. The facilities and location are just fantastic, and don't get me started on the meals and cocktails! But above all else this place is amazing because of the heart and soul of the management and staff, including front, back and everything in between. Nothing was a problem including turning up unannounced when our flight was cancelled and each enquiry was met with a warm easy smile. I feel like I have had a holiday with a brand new family who have wrapped me with their warmth and generosity of spirit. High fives everyone, thank you...we will be back!❤

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the holiday inn. Very family friendly hotel with all the facilities you would expect of a resort of this quality. We particularly enjoyed the pool, pool bar, restaurant and beach volleyball. What really sets this place apart though is the service and the friendly staff. They really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable- special thanks to Mayank at reception and Merelyn at the tour desk for all your help. Would definitely come back.

Came with 2 young kids. They loved the kids club and was there all the time despite not wanting to go to kids club at first! The kids menu was also great… they enjoyed the food very much. Staff were wonderful. Always had a smile and bradley, always entertained the princesses as he calls them…

Great resort for the off season, staff were super friendly, food was delicious and service fantastic. No request was off limits. Kids loved the themed rooms and pool facilities, free use of catamarans and kayaks + local sightseeing all fantastic. Highly recommended as a family vacation with kids. Blue lagoon, ziplining were highlights. Local restaurants not too far into town, resort breakfast buffet was great. Staff happy to book taxis and tours on demand. ATM onsite. Big thanks to the staff who helped my kids crack some coconuts 🥥

Disappointing Stay at Holiday Inn Vanuatu I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Vanuatu, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I encountered a room with a persistent unpleasant smell, coupled with a door that wouldn't lock properly, which significantly impacted my sense of security. The hotel promptly accommodated my request to change rooms, but the overall quality remained subpar. The rooms appeared dated and lacked the modern amenities one would expect for the price paid. The decor felt tired, and the ambiance lacked character, making it a forgettable stay. The dining experience mirrored my disappointment with the accommodation. The food was bland, lacking creativity and flavor. The menu options were limited, and the meals seemed overpriced given their mediocre quality. This further diminished my overall impression of the hotel. That said, the breakfast buffet was quite nice and we enjoyed the custom egg station. We found it better value to eat out. Despite these shortcomings, the saving grace of my stay was the friendly and accommodating staff. They were attentive and eager to assist, providing a glimmer of positivity amidst an otherwise lackluster experience. In summary, my stay at Holiday Inn Vanuatu was marred by issues ranging from room quality to dining options. The hotel's dated rooms, overpriced services, and lack of character make it a less than ideal choice for travelers seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. While the staff was friendly, it was unfortunately not enough to salvage the overall impression of my visit.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Vanuatu, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the experience: Accommodation: The accommodation at the Holiday Inn Vanuatu was somewhat run down. While the rooms were clean, some areas of the property appeared to be in need of maintenance. Most of the room doors did not close properly, which was evident as you walked down the hallway and saw how many doors weren’t latched properly. However, I found my room comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. Food: The food at the hotel was average. While there were a variety of options available, I felt that the quality of the dishes could be improved. It was decent but didn't stand out as a culinary highlight of my stay. The buffet for the Melanesian night was somewhat disappointing for the cost (approx $57AUD pp). We had booked for the curry buffet a few nights later but cancelled after the disappointment from the first buffet night. Breakfast was great, however. Thoroughly enjoyed the options each morning. Staff: One of the standout aspects of my stay was the staff. The employees at the Holiday Inn were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and assist with any questions or requests I had. Their warm and accommodating attitude significantly enhanced my overall experience. In summary, the Holiday Inn Vanuatu provided a decent stay with comfortable accommodation, although some areas of the property needed maintenance. The food was average, but the standout feature was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who made my visit memorable.

Our family of 10 people were disappointed with The Holiday Inn. The rooms are off a long corridor and the doors slammed throughout the day/night. The lagoon couldn’t be used for swimming and the rooms we had booked were unavailable because of the cyclone damage. We were given a refund for difference in price for the rooms. Because one of our party was celebrating his 80th, we asked for ground floor accommodation so he didn’t have to struggle with stairs - we were put on the third floor! which meant struggling with many steps to get to the pool area. No bottled water was provided. The Holiday Inn lacked character. Two pros though - they had a very good entertainer during the evenings and the breakfast selection was really good.

My husband and I , and our 3 children had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, from ensuring we were happy with our rooms , to catering for a very special anniversary dinner and even being thoughtful and leaving a small breakfast for our 5am departure! The food was high quality, the pool was beautiful and every night there was an opportunity to dance or simply relax. And what a stunning view and otherwise staff. A great place for a family holiday. Thank you team at the Holiday Inn Vanuatu

Had a fantastic week at Holiday Inn. Stay in Overwater Villa which was amazing. It is nice and quiet and peaceful on little island. You can easily walk over to main resort, lovely way to start the day, or you can get the van. Restaurant has a beautiful view, as mentioned Breakfast selection was a bit limited but was still plenty of choice. My husband had fun on kayaks and catamaran and I can thoroughly recommend cabanas beside the lagoon.

Absolutely stunning service and excellent opportunities to relax home away from home. If yo want peace of mind, good food, great outdoors, and happy people who care genuinely....then look no far. Also the Island opened up a few months ago, and great to see how busy it is already.

As lovely as the resort is, and the staff are, it is plagued by issues the staff say still relate to covid, however it seems to be a convenient excuse. They are out of most all mixers for drinks, out of so many food options (and many of these mixers or food options are produced locally!!!). They still don’t have enough staff, and there are not enough activities open yet so how you spend your time here is really limited. That being said, if you want to be able to relax by a pool and beach, and help the locals to recover post covid, it is recommended. Unfortunately most of the activities around the Port Vila area are similarly still shut down or limited. It just seems like the island opened up before it was ready to properly support tourism.

Great service. Very helpful and rooms are immaculate. Excellent once a week themed dinner with fire show and local cuisine buffet. However, I suggest checking out other restaurants for food as the hotel menu is limited.

We have visited this place for dinner. We got Indian curry here. Taste is excellent. A number of varieties in the menu, starting from pasta and piza. We enjoyed the meal very much. Dining place and conference room are beside a lagoon. Quiet enjoyable view.

Loved the Overwater bungalows. The pools were wonderful. So nice to relax and sit around the pool or on the beach. Lots of activities. Breakfast was a little disappointing but overall a really nice place to stay thank you.

Such a lovely place to stay! Perfect for us and our twin toddlers for our honeymoon. We stayed in the over water bungalows and it was actual heaven! The food is a bit average but all in all it was fantastic!!!! The pool is fabulous for kids and the beach bungalows are perfect!
