Absolutely loved our stay at Ratnakar Bhawan. It is a home stay with rooms that are at par with a 3 star hotel. Clean bathrooms and daily cleaning services. The host Rahul and his family is absolutely caring and takes care of everything. They serve awesome home cooked food and are ready to prepare anything you wish for. The place is located in the narrow lanes of old Varanasi city, right on the bank of Shivala ghat. This place is ideal if one wants to experience the old city and needs immediate access to the ghats. Please note, if you are looking for a typical 3-5 star hotel experience in the city center then this is not the place for you. This place is truly for those people who want to experience the authentic old Varanasi city and the personal touch with the owners.

Had a wonderful experience during our stay at Varanasi. The fact that owners of the said place are so nice and humble, also enhances the ambience of the said establishment. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to spend a vacation in Varanasi with family.

Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious. The location is great- very near Train Station. I would recommend it to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Varanasi.

Hi , stayed at Ratnakar Home Stay , very warmth welcome received from the Owner Mr Rahul . Very much impressed with the love affection we received from his family , specially from the Mother and the GrandMother both . Enjoyed the home made food during the stay . Walking distance from Ghat and easily reachable to Kashi Vishwanath Mandir . All staff very cooperative .Will highly recommend this place . My family and I planned a 5-day trip to Varanasi, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the street food, the impeccably clean and beautiful ghats, and instead of opting for a hotel, we decided to go for a heritage home stay. We booked this accommodation for 6 days, and it felt like staying with relatives. The hospitality was outstanding, and we were treated to delicious home-cooked meals. The entire experience of staying at the old heritage villa was fabulous. Highly recommended for those who want a unique and homely experience in Varanasi. In terms of network connectivity, we found it to be excellent. The location is within walking distance from Shivala Ghat, and the city has great rickshaw connectivity. We went for the heritage walk, and I highly recommend it because it offers a unique perspective to see the city through a different lens. For food and drink enthusiasts, Varanasi is the perfect destination. We thoroughly enjoyed the hing ki kachori, the blue lassi, and tea served in soil matka.

The family is a great host. Locations is very mesmerizing as it is near to the Shivala ghat and gives you an essence of proper banarasi vibes. You’ll be able to get proper banarsi food at this place and the rooms are quiet comfy. Had a great stay. Would for sure visit again.
