👍 Really great place to visit, and has a nice vibe too. definitely take a boat tour to the other side of the bank and watch the evening aarti from the boat itself. The place is amazing...just there are too many people. Loved this place lifetime memories has been attached with this. People often mention ghat,

The Sankata Ghat was once part of the Ganga Mahal Ghat until a split occurred which saw an important palace changing hands to the Ganga Mahal Ghat. Named after the intimidating Goddess Sankata which literally translates into 'Goddess of Dangers', the Sankata temple is not located right on the waterfront but further up in the alleys behind. Worshipers flock here to seek protection from their ten-handed 'Fierce Mother' who is believed to protect her devotees from harm.

It is very Beautiful place to have a view of Ganga ji. The atmosphere here is very calm and positive energy will flow through your veins. This place is less crowded from other Ghats. You will feal the peace and spirituality in the environment. Good place to come with your close one's. You can also hire a boat from here to explore the surrounding.
