Combining exceptional cuisine, a warm friendly atmosphere, and a classy indoor and outdoor settings, you have the makings of the best restaurant in the West Island. That's why I am highly recommending you try La Verita with your friends and family. From the moment you walk in, the warm, knowledgeable, and professional staff make you feel welcoming . They have a very diverse and reasonably priced menu that can satisfy the discerning palates of both carnivores and pasta lovers. Every day, you can ask for the additional choices not listed on the menu. Along with many other amazing appetizers, I highly recommend the grilled marinated octopus or the crab cakes as one of your entrées. You'll be amazed at how tasty they are. As for the main dishes, they are always of high quality, delicious, and beautifully presented. Whether you choose the lobster ravioli, the short rib, the lamb chops , the filet mignon or the fresh fish, you will understand why so many people give it a 5 star rating. As for desert, I recommend the tiramisu. Your senses will thank you and you can thank chef Nick for giving us such a great dining experience. I find their markup on all the wines, beers and liquor are much better priced than other restaurants of similar quality. Their wine menu is extensive concentrating mostly on Italian and Californian vintages. So if you have a special occasion, why not celebrate with a vintage Super Tuscan? You will also be impressive with a fantastic selection of single malts and grappa. Credit has to go to Derek for his extensive experience and humble character that makes him a great host in making patrons feel special.

What phenomenal service and meals we had at La Verità! Adam, Jimmy and Patrick were exceptional servers. Thank you , too, for all the behind the scenes staff who made our dinner exceptional! From appetizers to wine decanting, to main courses and the desserts, if you are looking for a new gustatory experience, then this is the place! Overall had an amazing experience, the waitresse was awesome, the lamb was cooked to perfection, and definitly the best burrata ive ever had. Tho i was a bit dissapointed by my main dish the ravioli con porcini, i had trouble finishing it, the truffle sauce was too strong in my opinion. But once again the overall experience was a 10/10.

What can I say, this is literally my favorite restaurant in Montreal! Food is absolutely amazing and the service is second to none. Decor is cozy and they have a great selection of Scotch at the bar. Deserts are also off the charts! I highly recommend the maple cheesecake and the crème brûle! Getting the Burrata as an appetizer is also a must, best I’ve ever had! Prices are also very reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the dishes, you’d easily pay double downtown for food half as good. I also recommend sitting at the bar and getting a drink with Joe the bartender, super friendly and really helpful in suggesting what to eat and drink. This is a must visit if you’re ever in the West Island area! Keep up the great work guys!

I liked this best but definitely not the best. The waiter was really nice and even suggested us some different wines to pick from. Also we loved that they offered half bottles of wine on the menu. For starters they bring you complimentary focaccia bread with olives and sun-dried tomatoes which was really good. We got the burrata to share, the burrata was really fresh which I loved but I didn't like the bread. We also got the risotto and the lamb for mains...the lamb was good but the pasta it came with wasn't good at all, I liked the risotto but just to let you know that it's with gorgonzola so you might not like it. I was so happy that they have the pistachio tartufo, my all time fave. We also got the ricotta cheesecake and it was light and good. They also make good ESPRESSO MARTINIs, definitely a must try after your meal. Overall it was good but definitely not worth more then 3 stars

Great food, amazing service. Prices are on the higher end but still competitive. Excellent quality. One of the best Italian Restaurants in Montreal and definitely the best in the West Island.

We planned a 60th party on the terrace of La Verità and it was a memorable evening enjoyed by all. Firstly thank you to Derek for the planning of the meal. Secondly thank you Stéphanie for leading the service of the evening. Your professionalism and attention to detail was on point! The food was fresh and delicious and contributed to the night’s success. A much enjoyed experience at a West Island gem.

Quite good Menu du jour, I really loved the burrata ! Waiters very nice, bilingual and polite. Big parking lot. The pasta was ok, but the meats and fish are a success. Nice for a special occasion.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary of knowing each other while coincidentally dining out at la Verita for the first time. Patrick was the epitome of professionalism and the food was to die for. Definitely recommended.

The food was delicious. I need to give kudos to the staff though. They were top notch. The service really was excellent. The appetizers are a bit expensive for what you get, but everything else reasonably priced. The lobster ravioli is SO good! Calamari cooked perfectly and not chewy at all.

Excellent restaurant with excellent service and top notch food. I had one of the specials of the day which was bison. It was cooked to perfection and had a balsamic berry reduction which paired with it perfectly. They serve fresh focaccia while you wait for your meal to be prepared which was delicious as well.

My first time here, had a wonderful experience for my cousin's first communion lunch. Food was good & service was excellent 👌🏽 I will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Much praise to the staff and management of La Verita for a very successful wedding reception last night. As a large group we were seated outdoors in the beautiful marquee where service was professional and on point. Wine, water and other drinks were regularly replenished with a smile without having to ask. Selections were hot and delightful served and plated as promised which made for a memorable experience. The ambiance was warm, intimate and elegant. We shall return.

Derek, thank you and your team for coming through for us! Despite arriving with more than a dozen more people at our Celebration of Life event, your team was so respectful and empathetic. Besides the great service, you guys came through with great food for the entire group which made the event even more rewarding (and therapeutic to a grieving family). Thank you once again.

Starting with a burrata imported from Italy, it was undoubtedly one of the finest I've tasted. The complimentary bread, served with perfect butter, was a treat in itself. The Gnocchi di Ricotta al Pomodoro con Burrata was a pleasant surprise for a non-gnocchi eater like me. The lamb dish we shared was flawlessly cooked, offering a remarkable taste. The crème brûlée, while not the highlight, was still enjoyable. The ambiance enhanced the dining experience, making this a top-notch Italian restaurant. Excellent service from Stéphanie for my boyfriend's 41st Birthday on Friday September 15th. We had cocktails, wine, appetizers, the main course was hard to choose and you know how it is.... You always wish you had picked the first choice... (which was the Ossobucco ) Even the second choice which was the Risotto with fungi and cream and unicorn whispers====they will never admit it but they use it as a secret ingredient So I had the Ricotta Gnocchi topped with Burrata. Still good bug I'm never really hungry by the time we get to our main courses.... Not after 3 appetizers and sometimes bread It was awesome. Stéfan was very pleaded. Stephanie gets mentioned in a lot of reviews because she is a pro and also quick, efficient and the right amount of talking back . Mascarpone cheesecake for dessert
