I love this bookstore! Cozy, and modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful, full of suggestions whenever I've asked for inspiration of any kind. Mind you I'm not sure what the English books section looks like as I mainly get mine in French.

Such a beautiful addition to Wellington street. My family and I love buying books and looking around in here (Boutique Réunion is such a nice place too, within the bookstore).

A favourite bookstore and in easy walking distance from home. Mainly french language and with a good selection of magazines, and stationery. The shop is combined with Union where you can get really nice kitchenware as well as ceramics made in Verdun by CeramikB.

Worse customer service ever! Find another bookstore! I spent around $300 on books from this store over the last month. Today I bought a pocket dictionary that cost around $8 but within an hour of buying this dictionary it became evident that there were way too many words missing for it to serve it's purpose, so I went back to the store to return it. I considered an exchange initially but they have limited stock and options for dictionaries to begin with. It was at this point that things started going down hill. The store has a No Refund Policy which they only mention on the receipts. Thus, they conceal this information until it's too late to do anything about it. They only inform you on the receipt after you have made a purchase that you can't get your money back. If this isn't sketchy, I don't know what is. I respectfully informed the manager that the Consumer Protection Act required that the store issue a refund irrespective of what the store policy says. At this point we had a long argument about what defective means. A this point the manager finally calls the Owner. The phone was eventually passed to me, but before I could get a word in the Owner hung up on me. MONEY is tight these days and any store that doesn't value their customers isn't worthy of our business. If they can treat a customer this poorly over an $8 book I can only image how many customers came before me and found out the hard way that this store does Not Value Customers. The lack of transparency, unfair policies, poor customer sevice, and lack of respect from the Owner himself speaks for itself. There are many other book stores that provide better service. I'll gladly take my money else wherever. Buyer...Beware!
