Beautiful beach strip for a walk or for just sitting and looking at the water and the sea. The sunsets are also nice. It's a rocky beach in part and can get dangerous.

Beautiful beach with backwaters on the other side of the road. The best time to visit is early in the morning by 6.30am-7.00am when there's no one. You can relax, listen to the waves crashing and sit down on the bench fixed on both the sides of the beach.

View from the cliff is breathtaking!! Though the beach area itself is quite small. A narrow way of 100-200mtr leads to the beach. There is a cafe right on the seaside - Bait and Hook - felt the pricing on a higher side. since it’s the only cafe there. The water is clean and the area is not crowded at all. There are 3 resorts that I could see on the seaside - B’Canti, Ashokam, Sukriti home stay. All of them appeared nice from outside.

I visited a lot more Southern side of the beach which felt far more better than any other beach .this side of the beach consists of a cliff like seaside, witha panoramic view of the sea,the coconut feild and the beach.

The best highlight is sunset A life time experience. It looks so simple until you start climbing the steps. Last part is a vertical ladder. Also there is a elevator inside the light house. The visuals from the top of the light house is priceless and very attractive. The best time to go is in the evening. Good for friends and couples. If you go along with kids, even though it's good you have to be very careful. You can see overall view of Fort also. Very good nature

One of the most beautiful beach of kerala. The best part is that it is not overly crowded because most of the people go to varkala cliff. Also it is best place for surfing as the waves are much higher as compared to other beaches. Love the sunset view from here.

This beach is secluded and does not attract many visitors. You should head here if you want some private time. I would recommend going here on a two wheeler and not a car. A major portion of the beach is covered by rocks so getting into the water is not ideal.

At late night I went naked into that beach and nobody knows. I felt the waves calling me into the giant sea, inviting me so pleasantly and then crushing and throwing me off so far away. You are right I don't deserve you lovely clean sea as I sit here at dirty Juhu beach admiring only what I have- the memory

Set along the shoreline of the Arabian Sea, Edava Beach is a well-known travel attraction in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This beach is located in the coastal town of the same name. Calling it nature’s bounty won’t be wrong as it is blest with the beauty of nature in profusion. The virgin sands of this beach are hemmed in the towering palm trees and its ambiance is simply spellbinding. One should pay a visit to this beach during their expedition to Kerala. It Is Known For:- 1.  The historical warehouse that was built in British India in the 17th century 2.  The nearby lakes where one can succumb to nature and reinvigorate their senses 3.  Occasional beach parties during New Year's Eve Best Time To Visit:- Due to its geography, the beach and the area nearby doesn't get humid. This results in the pleasant weather that makes it comfortable for the holidaymakers to spend more time at the beach. However, the scorching heat during June plays a baddie and makes it the month to be booed. Strolling on the beach during the sunrise is an experience in itself. Do not miss it.

This beach is like a well-kept secret – so beautiful, yet wonderfully peaceful. You can enjoy its pristine shores in the morning and relish the golden sunsets in the evening. Keep in mind that food and water choices are limited, so it's a good idea to pack your snacks and drinks for an unforgettable day by the sea.

The virgin beach stretches ringing a turquoise lagoon where the sea and backwaters run parallel separated by a more than one km of straight road, unspoiled by tourist activities

  • 5/5 Saiprabhu B. 1 year ago on Google
It's a 3 Km walk from the start of the Varkala Helipad. Highly recommended to walk on the trail on the Cliff along the coastline to reach here. You will pass numerous Cafes/restaurants on the main cliff up until the black sand beach (first 1 KM). After crossing the black sand beach, the crowd slowly disappears and you will have the beach all to yourselves. Swimming is not advisable, but there are few spots where you can get down the cliffs/sea walls to dip your feet in water and chill. The views from the top of the cliffs are stunning!
