This hotel is located near the north cliff. So that the cliff view is amazing in front of the hotel entrance. The rooms are good enough for families. But we got rooms on the ground floor, so the view was not good. The sea was not fully visible from the balcony, instead, we could see the cafe and people eating there in the front yard of the hotel. They charged 4000/- for the rooms which we found a bit costly as we got a room with no sea view. Things might be different from the first floor, where there is a good view of the seaside.

Situated on the beautiful cliff by the Varkala beach this hotel is a great place to spend a day or two for beach lovers. The wonderful picturesque in front and the vibrant lively evenings make this place very special. Good ambience. Food is little expensive but it is worth each penny. Location is superb. Rooms are big and well kept. Service is good too.

We stayed here with family for 3 nights. This gem cannot be found in any online sites. Price was reasonable considering the location, cleanliness and above all THE SEA VIEW. Vineet, the manager is a courteous manager. Rooms are average sized but gives a good feel and maintained well. Balcony view gives a paradise feel. Note that the number in Google is old. They said they have initiated the change.

Only few stay get 5 star from me, this is one of them. Total value of money, you can only book the hotel offline. I stayed in the last week of Oct, little off season, considering it was still raining.. I was charged, 1.5k only for accommodation, awesome view from all of the rooms. Neat & clean toilet with all toiletries. Location is awesome, great ambience in the nearby restaurant during night. It also has a great restaurant, courteous staff, moderate price, great food. I have shared few photos & videos along with my review.

What a great place! Rooms are spacious, bedding very comfortable, and the team is so nice, always with a smile and ready to help with requests.

Located in the midst of the varkala cliff..the view from the room balcony is the sea.. Pleasant view.. The rooms are decent.. Food is good too.. Best one is their coffee ☕ They have a restaurant in the front of the hotel which has a scenic sea view.. Must try is the Nepali choco ball from their restaurant..had a great stay at hotel green palace Will visit again❤️

A good and popular hotel in varkala. Rooms are good and well located . The Abba restaurant serves good food . The Manager Mr Vineet is very GOOD and helpful . The WAITERS are high headed and very RUDE and ARROGANT spoils the reasons for the visit to such a good place. Request please correct the nepali waiters ,they have issues with the guest generally, I observed .

Good hotel to stay with ur family, near the beach, the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious 😋, the only drawback is if ur going in a car there taking the car to hotel is difficult n GPS will take u in a wrong route.

The best aspect of this hotel is it's prime location on the Varkala Cliff and that it can be accessed by car. The rooms are spread across three levels with the lowest below the main level. The upstairs rooms have a good view of the sea.

Clean and spacious rooms. Had a good view of the sea. Though the bathroom is clean, the bathroom seemed like it needed some maintenance. It's close to the helipad and is at a walkable distance.AABA restaurant is in front and the food there is amazing but on the pricier side

Stay was good and nice service.. however they would have added free breakfast or atleast kettle and T bags in the room for morning. Their restaurant opens only at 8am and it might be difficult specially when u go with kids

Superb location, very quiet, lots of space in front of the hotel. Some 25 rooms, ac, non ac. Usually takes only Gpay, cash or PayPal, but in a pinch will arrange for credit card. No online booking. Call hotel. Lowers price for long stat or off season. Manager Vineet very helpful. Prefers couples, discourages loud or rude behavior (bachelors not readily encouraged). Superb restaurant (coffee available in room only at 8 am, but a coffee shop two doors away opens at 6 am). Abba run by friendly Tibetan men. Tasty food, prices lower than other restaurants. Same day laundry service available (depending on weather). Walk100 yards from helipad as autos not allowed on cliff.

Good place to stay at Varkala cliff. Great view from the second floor rooms. Staff is very friendly and the attached restaurant has tasty food options. Walkable from all the attractions at Varkala cliff and beach.

Quality and quantity of food was not compromised. One of must try restaurant in cliff. A pleased and satisfied location to enjoy the view in day and to feel the complexion of dark ocean. Though sometimes crowded but it is a worth to wait by hanging somewhere near purchasing few souvenirs.

A typical hotel room for staying after a busy day at the cliff or the beach. It's neither a resort nor situated on a private beach. Food could be delivered to your room from the ABBA restaurant out there in front of the hotel. Clean and cosy rooms with a view of the cliff in front, and keep in mind that it's not a great or broad view of the beach from the balcony. Good choice for staying during a family outing to the beach.

Location is right on the cliff. So that’s amazing. Staffs are friendly. Wifi was ok. Rooms were clean and neat. AC was having some noise and needs servicing. Cost of room was on higher end. Airtel mobile network works well here. Lot of restaurants nearby.

The Rooms were good and comfortable. The only thing they need to work is on the Room Service and WIFI. Overall a good stay.

The place is neat and clean and facilities are also descent with a direct sea view from the balcony. One thing which I was not happy with was, even during off season they won’t come down with their rates and secondly the rooms are a bit over- priced.. the only best thing about the place is the restaurant ABBA with it and it’s food.. if it was not for the restaurant I would have looked for some other place to stay..

The hotel is at the cliff and location was simply awesome..the hospitality was great, very helpful and warm, absolutely clean room , sheets , bathroom, food was amazing and it's close to so may other eataries ...u can go for long walks even late in the evening , along the cliff and enjoy , there are lots of shops too... But the hotel is simply awesome and worth the price ..

Excellent & affordable rooms. you can't find any best option around other than Hotel Green palace. Mr. Vineeth Rajan is very helpful, he will help you in anything. You can call him anytime and he will respond immediately. We had a safe stay in green palace and best food in Abba restaurant. Abba restaurant is just at the entrance of green palace.

Clean and spacious rooms with a scenic view of the beach. Driving through to the hotel can be difficult in a car because of the extremely narrow pathway. It would be better to park at the helipad and walk the rest of the way. Service could have been a little better. There are books available to read in the lobby during your stay. The restaurant beside it, ABBA has a really great cuisine selection and the food was appetizing. The whole experience however was marred by the beach being blocked during the monsoon and we were not allowed to step into the sea. Do yourself a favour and visit this place only during summers or winters and never between May - September

Beautiful seafront hotel situated close to the cliff. Provide all amenities including ac, fridge, tv, wifi…. Rooms are attached to the balcony with amazing sea view. Restaurant is also available from which we can order food to the rooms. Friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Neat and spacious rooms. Overall a good experience. Even though parking is available, approach road is congested. It is better to park your car at the helipad.

Best place to stay even on season times.Quiet costly when compared to other stays but worth the pay. Choose first floor rooms for better view of varkala beach from north cliff. Good hospitality. Providing all types of food which actually tastes good.

A beautiful beachfront hotel in the north cliff. They provide all the basic amenities from AC to fridge to geyser in the rooms. The rooms are attached to balconies with absolutely amazing sea view. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained. They also have a restaurant that caters to the guests in the peak season of Nov-April. They also have a yoga hall.

Stayed there for a night.. 1800 rupees after a slight bargain. Spacious double bedroom with a/c and balcony.. Clean room. Clean silent ambiance. Restaurant with good food Good staff
