Explorer House is a peaceful paradise. The rooms are beautiful with a fireplace, private balcony and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast is a feast of delicious homemade food. The gardens are magical and so very peaceful with a hot tub, gazebo, fire pit and many beautiful flowers and trees. Deanna and Alec go over and above to provide a welcoming atmosphere. We love visiting Explorer House!

The location is fantastic, the proprietors are lovely and accommodating, the rooms are clean, bright and spacious. My dietary requirements were of no consequence and easily met, and on our second stay they remembered my list from 8 months previous (wow!). Explorer House has amazing amenities - garden, fire pit, social areas, hot tub - and the decor is stunning with the owner’s photos decorating the beautiful suites and common areas. We will be back!

First time staying at a B&B. Fantastic suite that was large and comfortable. Very private. Hot tub was a great way to relax. Nearby restaurant (Ruffinos) was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Both myself and my new girlfriend wanted to enjoy a weekend away tasting wines and enjoying Niagra-on-the-lake. Explorer House was a little bit of heaven. The home, rooms, service and breakfast were top notch. I plan on being back every three months to relax and take advantage of the hot tub and outdoor fire pit...thanks for a great weekend!!!

Fabulous stay from accommodating dietary requirements in delicious ways, to fabulous squeaky clean rooms, common areas and outdoor grounds. Friendly, knowledgable, and helpful hosts. The place cannot be more highly recommended.

The location was optimal. Right between the old town historic district and numerous wineries, distillers, and breweries. Walkable for each within 10-15 minutes. The hosts were gracious, helpful, but also invisible. The room was clean, well appointed, and the decorations very thoughtful and interesting. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds were really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the soaking, jetted tub.

This place is top notch! It is so very very clean and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. The owner is friendly and willing to answer any question you have about this b&b and the surrounding area. It is a nice 20 minute-ish walk to the main town that is so rich in history! The backyard is impeccable and beautiful, complete with a hot tub for your use and a fireplace to sit around at night. There's all kinds of cozy sittings for two about the gardens or there's more room for a group around the fireplace. The breakfast is so well done, in a large picnic basket. You get to choose from their menu the night before. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!!
