I loved the museum. It has exhibits both inside and outside and stands true to the nature of the town. It was real cozy and reminded me of why I love museums. Museums transcend you beyond time and this place was just that. It was beautifully structured and the receptionist was so kind. A must visit, to really get to know Port Colborne 💓

Lovely little place with lots to see and do! The exhibits change regularly and the volunteers are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. My family and I love to stop in at the Arabaella's tea room (open seasonally), located on the same property.

Very nice set up! I noticed kid friendly areas so it would be good for families. The grounds are shaded. The exhibits are nicely displayed.

A quaint reminisce of life in 1915. Simple tea of two tea biscuits with butter and jam and choice of teas, ice tea or lemonade. Only 7.00 per person and proceeds go back into the museum and program fund. Waiters were dressed in 1915 attire and the tea room looks as it would have in 1915. The tea room is run by volunteers.A delightful way to spend an hour on a summer day.

Maintained and operated with love and respect. One of my favourite stops with visitors. Tea and biscuits at Arabella's Tea Room is lovely.

This is a hidden gem of the town. They also have a great virtual tour of the Welland canal which is impressive. It was a great experience for our family together with locks and ships observation at Port Colborne!

Was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately they appeared to be closed 12/18, even though the hours state they are open from 12-5pm sundays.

We rented the archives building on the museum property to have a party for my dad. The price was affordable, and even though our guest list was small, it could accommodate many more. It had all the amenities you could need to host a gathering, I will admit I didn't go in the back, so I'm not sure if it has a full kitchen. Since I grew up in this town and have been to the museum from time to time over the years I have nothing but nostalgic feelings whenever I visit, especially at Christmas!
