    Suspecting the usual chaos of the interweb, I began an online chat on the Leon's website because I definitely needed some help to buy one of the most confusing and intimidating furniture purchases of all times - A QUEEN MATTRESS!!! However, to my very pleasant surprise, I had the most professional, knowledgeable and caring help from Ryan at the Welland location! I don't even live in Welland! Ryan really listened (or read what I wrote), selected good items for me, answered my questions, and if he didn't know something he looked it up. Confirmed everything by phone. And just called back to confirm that it will be delivered on the day I need it to be there! I can't believe I'm getting everything I needed/wanted. HOW EASY WAS THAT? Thanks so much, Ryan! If I need other things from Leon's I'll just call your store and ask for you, no matter what city I'm living in!

    Patrick, the sales associate, was wonderful! He spent over an hour with us, showing us many pieces of furniture, and patiently explaining various policies and buying options that Leon’s offers its customers. His professionalism and knowledge was invaluable in helping us make our purchasing decisions regarding our relocation to a new city. Patrick’s easy going manner made it a pleasure.

    Can't leave 0 stars unfortunately. Purchased a fridge and stove March 5th. Was told 2 weeks. Months of a run around and told maybe the end of August. Went in for a refund and not even an apology. Worst shopping experience ever. Will never step foot in there again and will continue to tell everyone about the disgraceful service.

    We had a fantastic experience yesterday at Leon's. We came in after seeing the Save The Tax commercial looking for a new mattress. We were greeted by Dan who helped us find a model that suited our needs. He was very thorough and knew every mattress in the store and it's features. He's been there for years and the knowledge shows! After we made our purchase, I casually mentioned that our couch from the living room set We bought here last year had two broken legs (design flaw, not Leons' fault on that one), and he was kind enough to take us to customer service where we were helped by two fantastic ladies --- they helped us locate some replacement legs. We had tried everywhere to find furniture legs so this was a big help and super appreciated. I have been a customer of Leon's for years, and yesterday is just another reason why!

    This Leon's Furniture deserves more than 5-stars all thanks to Dan. What started as a bit of an overwhelming experience due to the amount of furniture shopping we needed to accomplish, it quickly turned into a fun and easy process thanks to Dan and his customer service. From helping us envision the right look for our home to providing helpful insight and expertise... if you're in need of new furniture ask for Dan.

    Review for Rowena at Leon's Welland: I recently had the unpleasant experience of dealing with Rowena at Leon's Welland, and I must say her level of professionalism was disappointing, to say the least. From the moment I walked into the store, it was evident that Rowena lacked the basic courtesy and professionalism that one would expect from a sales associate. She showed a complete disregard for customer service by failing to greet me or offer any assistance when I clearly needed it. It almost felt as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. When I finally managed to get her attention and asked a few questions about some of the products, her responses were curt and unhelpful. Not only did Rowena display an unprofessional attitude, but she also lacked the product knowledge necessary to assist customers effectively. She was unable to provide me with accurate information or answer basic questions about the items I was interested in. It was clear that she had not taken the time to familiarize herself with the inventory she was responsible for. Furthermore, Rowena's demeanor was off-putting, as she displayed impatience and a lack of interest in addressing my concerns. Her dismissive attitude made the entire shopping experience feel incredibly unpleasant. It was as if she couldn't wait for me to leave the store without making any effort to make me feel valued as a customer. In addition to the lack of professionalism, Rowena's customer service skills were sorely lacking. She displayed no willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction or to resolve any issues that arose during my visit. It was evident that she simply wasn't interested in providing a positive experience to customers. Overall, my encounter with Rowena at Leon's Welland left a lasting negative impression. Her unprofessional behavior, lack of product knowledge, and dismissive attitude were extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise against seeking her assistance when visiting the store, as it is clear that she is not suited for a customer-facing role.

    I'm so happy, just received my 2nd Jupiter sectional from Leon's. I've had a fantastic experience with the Welland store. Roweena is an excellent saleswoman, very pleasant to deal with. The 2 young guys who delivered the sectional were very "old school" with their work ethics, very polite, courteous, respectful and helpful. I highly recommend the Welland Leon's. I will add that I live in St. Catharines and first went to the Taylor Rd location and dealt with a saleswoman who was rude, sarcastic, bold, and abruptt. I chose not to give her my business, as the reps are based on commission. I was happy with how I was treated at the Welland location by Roweena, and will continue to shop there. 😊

    I wish I could take back the decision that I made 3 months ago to purchase appliances from this Welland branch of Leon's. Then I could have save myself months of hassle to deal with their customer service and their manager George. -----Followup----: After more than 40 days of frustration of no washing machine, finally I got my replacement washing machine on June 10. Now everyday I pray for the washing machine: Dont Breaking My Heart. I Don't Think I Can Take It Anymore.

    This is my second time purchasing from this location because of the wonderful customer service. The staff here went above and beyond to help. Paul was the agent that helped me with my most recent purchase and he really took the time and listened to what I needed and in the end help me make the best decision. He was also very honest about some of the furniture sets that I had my heart set on and offered me better choices after hearing what I was looking for. I'd love to purchase again from this location.

    I went In not completely sure what I wanted but I knew I wanted a couch that could fit me and at least 2 other people comfortably. So I decided to go into the store and get some help from an employee, I was met with Chris and he helped me pick out the most perfect couch, exactly what I was looking for and for a reasonable price too. Not only was Chris very helpful, he was super nice and understood what I wanted even tho it wasn’t the best description. Next time if I need any furniture I will be sure to come back to Leon’s and look for Chris.

    Dan Parsons was the sales rep for my purchase. From start to finish, he was professional, courteous, informative and knowledgeable. He took the time necessary to answer my many questions, and in this case, his patience was a virtue! During the final sale, all transactions were handled smoothly and efficiently. Dan will definitely be my Leon's go-to guy for my future shopping requirements.

    I would just like to start off by saying I do not usually leave reviews but we were treated very well by a wonderful gentleman named Chris while visiting the store today. My husband and I went in to look at some sectionals and baby cribs. Chris greeted us shortly after us entering the store with a lovely smile and great customer service skills. He went above and beyond to show us all of our options for what we were looking for, pricing, time frames etc. Chris is very professional and for this we will definitely be coming back to this location for further house needs! Thanks so much Chris at Leon’s!

    Bought a whirlpool washing machine. Jeff and Brevan were great and courteous. Service was great and delivery was on time. Waiting for the dryer to come in but with the nice weather I am not in a big hurry as I like to hang clothes outside weather permiting

    If you’re buying all the appliances you need for your house, be sure to start with Leon’s website to build your wish list, price everything out and then go in the store to see if they can do better on price, which they probably can. Especially during sale days like Black Friday, they are fully prepared to help you make sure you’re getting everything you need for the best price, just a great company, especially this Welland store :)

    Purchased a couch here tonight and while doing the financing I couldn’t get a signal, even while going outside, which really dragged out the process. I would have gave five stars if you had wifi for your customers, as this was kind of a pain. However, Nick was a wonderful, patient sales associate who kept me entertained and prevented me from losing my cool during the many phone calls back and forth, will definitely be back and asking for him!

    I recently purchased bedroom, living room and kitchen furniture from Leon's Welland for my elderly mom's move into a Retirement Home. I was so impressed by the customer service I received from Sales Rep Ryan. His empathy for the challenging situation our family was going through was much appreciated as was his suggestions on the type of furnishings which would be best suited for my mom. We were also impressed with the "exception" that was granted to us by George regarding a matter I had discussed with the previous Store Manager Marc. Leon's definitely made a big difference in making a difficult family situation much better! Thanks Ryan, Marc and George. You all raised Leon's customer service to a higher level.

    Came in today to meet up with my mother who was looking at purchasing a new couch for herself, I had mentioned that I was looking to at some point purchase a new futon for my own apartment! Thomas was very knowledgable and quick to help both of us find what we were looking for. His customer service skills are great and he connects well with people.     My husband and I visited the Leons store in Welland several weeks ago to purchase a new mattress and were very fortunate to have been helped by Ryan. My husband has a back injury from many years ago and it had only recently started to act up at night while lying down. The pain would keep him up throughout the night. Ryan spent a considerable amount of time with us discussing the pros and cons of the many options available. He was knowledgeable with the products and there were no pressure tactics. He simply wanted us to make the right decision based on our needs and budget. We purchased 2 Twin XL memory foam mattresses with adjustable bases. The adjustable base has provided total relief for my husband's back issues and has really helped me sleep much better as well. As an added bonus, the adjustable options make reading in bed extremely comfortable. Big thanks go out to Ryan who took several hours out of his busy day to assist us, answer a multitude of questions, and help us with our selections. Also a thank you to the delivery guys who set things up for us, removed our old mattress and all the packing material plus provide a few final helpful tips.

    All of our appliances have come from Leon’s, so when our washing machine suddenly stopped working we headed over to find a new one. We were greeted by Joshua K within minutes and he was a huge help. He was knowledgeable in all makes and models and he was honest in his experiences and opinions. Ultimately we ended up purchasing both a new washer and dryer based on his recommendations. They arrived yesterday and we were so excited to use them (cause we’re old lol) and they live up to their recommendations. We absolutely love them!

    Went into the store on May 1 2022 for a new king sized mattress. We saw one online that was priced in our budget and we wanted to try it out before we purchased it. We were greeted by Joshua K. and escorted to the mattresses where he showed us the one we wanted to try. He was friendly, knowledgeable and by no means pushy. We purchased the mattress along with a mattress pad and we are super happy with our purchase. The bed is extremely comfortable! Thank you Josh for making this purchase quick and easy. J. Lanigan
