Horrible and awful. Went through my mother's bags didn't say why. Ordered me around. Customers asking me for help. Taping my debit card for orders I didn't ask for. Tells me to calm down. Excuse me I Pau and you give someone else my bill. I'm 43 years old. Thats not normal behavior.

Such bad management here the manager here she accused my 76 year old father of stealing which he did not steal they checked his walker and there was nothing there stolen never going to this location again I advice ppl to go up the street to the dollarama on cedarcroft at least till they get rid of that lady so unprofessional district managers do something about this

I think this Dollarama has an unprofessional, discriminatory, prejudiced environment. I wouldn't be saying this without enough facts. One of the ways you can tell about a store's environment is by looking at how it treats its employees and prospective employees. I lived close to this Dollarama, and I really wanted to apply for a part-time job here. I had relevant experience in inventory, merchandising, and customer service. I had very good references. I wanted to walk in and introduce myself to the hiring manager. I went there a couple times, but the hiring manager was unwell and hadn't showed up to work. I called the store before showing up a fourth time. The assistant manager answered the phone. He said he had heard about me and he also did the hiring. He wanted to see me in person, and he was finishing his shift in 20 minutes. So I ran out of my place and literally jogged to the store to meet the assistant manager before he left work. He wasn't happy to see me. As I began to introduce myself and tell him about my work experience, he told me he wasn't hiring at the moment. He didn't even look at my resume. Then he told me to drop off my resume with the cashier at the front counter. I didn't bother giving the cashier a copy of my resume. I don't want to work in a place where people are treated in this way. I have been hired at some places only to be mistreated while other employees were treated more favorably. I had no choice but to quit as I was bullied by management, coworkers, and even newer employees whom I had trained. Something is definitely off about this store's management. They don't seem to like the way I look. I don't have any tattoos or piercings. I'm just a woman who doesn't pluck her eyebrows or wear makeup. I have short hair, and I look gender neutral even though I'm female and identify as a woman. Women often criticize me for not looking feminine. I think if I was gay, I would have been treated better. This isn't the first time I've faced this kind of discrimination. This is disappointing, considering that I'm Canadian and I grew up here. I see new immigrants and international students getting jobs far more easily than I can.

I visited the dollarama today, Friday September 23, 2022 at 9:20am. The gentleman working there made me feel quite unwelcome. I don't appreciate being watched like a hawk store, as I shop. Then when I went to the self checkout with my basket of items, he called for security. Talk about profiling. I understand that theft is a huge problem in retail, but don't target people, and don't make it obvious. Somebody please get this guy some more training and people skills. Perhaps he had a bad experience with someone who looks like me, who knows. Hey Dollarama Chek the camera footage and correct this employee of yours. 🤨

Garbage service. First they say I have to do self check out because it's their policy then they cash out the guy behind me. Then tell me I have to wait. Then when you do the self check out they are up your but to make sure you arent stealing. If you are that concerned hire more cash members. And the worst part is whoever their lead hand or manager was, once called she prioritized her break over an override at the register. I just left.

I live nearby and go to this almost in weekly basis, Medium size beach, it lacks a lot of things such as fridge for juice and drinks. As well as cleaning stuff, there is no much choices. But at the end it is a nice to have Dollar store in the neighborhood; access to cheap stuff.

Items are getting pricey...but still ok compare t other retail store

Was a convenient place to shop until recently. I used to love how I can walk in and just grab an energy drink and a couple household items, self-checkout quick and leave. They shut down self-checkouts which would be fine if they had enough staff to keep the line going smoothly but they dont. However the biggest issue here is that local highschool students caused a lot of problems and now security and staff dont let you shop comfortably. Today was the last straw for me and I will no longer be shopping here. You hire over-confident international students as security and they follow you around and stare at you to the point where its borderline harassment. Im a nearly 30 year old man with a full beard, im not going to steal from Dollarama. You have security cameras no? Use them. Most stores collect footage of thiefs over time so they have a tangible charge against them. I have 60 pounds on your security guard. If I was a thief there is absolutely nothing he could do to stop me so I dont see the point. They arent even legally allowed to physically aprehend a customer they are just there for show. Amazon just gained another customer!

Possibly the worst Dollarama I've been too, the staff is extremely rude, instead of being at the cash and checking people out they stand around and watch you as if you're stealing what you're paying for. Extremely unprofessional and disgustingly disrespectful employees. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely disgraceful.

attempted theft by employee. hey folks. look out for the female cashier (identified by medium height, glasses, indian, bigger gal, and some acne). my change was 45 dollars and she attempted to return only 25. her excuse was that she had only just woken up. it was about half past 8pm

Good place to get some basic household things at a cheap price. It is just the equivalent of UK pound shop. Some things are over a dollar though while some are under. There are some basics that you will be surprised to find there, so always check before going to other places. I will post the picture of some small cups that I bought for I think about 3Cad or so somewhere else but got them for I think about a dollar or little over a dollar there. See picture below. The cup can be use for shots or to take espresso. For me I bought it for the office for espresso coffee. They also have ample parking space and some other shops there and a post office.

Bog standard Dollarama, but for some reason they've disabled all their new self-checkouts for well over a month now, so checkout times are longer, I'm guessing to deter theft from high schoolers across the street? But then why not turn them back on afterwards? Or perhaps we're finally beginning to win the war against the machines.

Because of the plaza it is in you will find some shady characters around and in the store. A lot of The Times the store is understaffed the employees don't really seem to care which I don't blame them for what they have to put up with there

Not sure why it's still called Dollarama despite 90 percent of all items exceeding a dollar! Most items are of very low quality as well. Guess you get what you pay for.

Best place to get non grocery home needs. Most of the products from outside Canada.

on two occasions I have had to request the help of the manager and both times she has been very rude she does not even look at you and she speaks in a rude way and she always says she is very busy and does not have time and you have to wait for her until she finishes doing his thing, when she could kindly answer a question, very bad attention from the manager.

What are the nice parts of Dollarama is that they have a lot of locations that are easily accessible from TTC. I happened to visit this one on the way to my computer repairman and picked up a few things of course at great prices. Some of the staple items like bread and popper are well below Supermarket prices. My weakness according to chocolate bars and they always have a lot of them at very reasonable prices. I recommend Dollarama at whatever location you visit

This location is always in stock, clean, and has a lot more items you won't find at other locations!!

Waited pretty long in line just for them to let the adults in and leave the students outside waiting longer. The guy said it’s not them and it’s the company while other Dollarama’s do not do this. Corporate needs to take a look into this.
