EDIT: I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star. I'm deducting 1 star for the explosion that happened in the toilet after this food. That's the only food I consumed all day, so I know for a fact that my stomach is all messed up because of this food. Worst disappointment than I thought. I don't recommend this food AT ALL. -------------------------------------------------------- I placed my order online, so can't comment on the staff or this location. I was very disappointed with this order the moment I saw it. I'm giving them 2 stars. 1 star for fast delivery, and 1 star for the seasoned chicken & bun itself. Everything else was just a straight up disappointment. I'm deducting 1 star for the bland fries. McDonald's is better and that's saying something. I'm deducting 1 star for the Coleslaw and Half-cut random pickle slice. Coleslaw had an aftertaste which made me want to throw up. I'm deducting 1 star for the Apple Pie. You can buy a bigger, better tasting pie at a grocery store for the same price. Again, that's saying something about how bad this pie was. Luckily, I'll be reimbursed for this lunch (Thank God for company paid lunches). Otherwise, I would HATE to spend that much money on this food. It was my first and last time. Never again, UberEats. Never again will I fall for your reviews again. Last photo is of what went straight in the garbage from this order. What a waste of food. If only it tasted better.

Last weekend, we came for the breakfast special (ends at 11am). I got 2 over-easy eggs with sausage and my girl got 2 over-medium eggs with crispy bacon. The breakfast special comes with hashbrowns, toast, orange slice and bottomless coffee. The portions were generous and the food was prepared exactly as ordered. The staff were very nice and attentive as the coffee and water never reach the bottom of the glass. Strongly recommend coming here if your looking for a straightforward breakfast to start your day.

Homely Diner with food that reminds one of home. The ambience is down-to-earth, unpretentious, and warm. Service is very polite and attentive. Food is simple but tastes great! We had the Burger and Eggs Benedict as mains. Plus, the Fish and Chips and an Apple Pie to share. The portions worked out fine. My hubby loved the simplicity of the burger which was delicious. The Eggs Benny were very good too. Nothing was fancy. But we very much enjoyed our meal.

Friendly staff! I placed an order for pick up and forgot my mask when I went their. They had staff serving the patio and kindly served me from outside. The prices are really reasonable for midtown. I got their bacon grilled cheese and a hot coffee and it only came out to $12. Paid cash so looks like they accept cash.

Good old fashion restaurant ideal for breakfast. We went there early on a Sunday and we were happy with the service and the food. The prices were good, the portions were generous and the quality was impressive. The lady who served us was very nice, she did just the right amount of chat, she was very attentive to the coffee and water refills. I loved the egg’s Benedict. Excellent choice. Also we order extra crispy bacon and they delivered. We will be back.

Their food was not very impressive. We ordered the big breakfast and corn beef sandwiches. The big breakfast was okay, pretty standard. I do like their home fries, which were very crispy outside. However, the corn beef sandwiches were sad because they had nothing but corn beef. At least we expected to see lettuce or tomato in the sandwich, but it only had corn beef. Even we needed to add the sauce to the sandwich by ourselves, and the bread was not buttered, so it was super dry while eating. The servers seemed very friendly, but they all were very flustered and busy while we were eating. The meal price was a little pricey as their portion of the big breakfast was not big, and I didn't feel satisfied.

This place is a solid 4 stars. Starting with the coffee, it is actually really good! Nothing special but well made good coffee. They are quick to refill so that's also nice. I tried the eggs Benedict and that wasn't great to be honest. The Hollandaise sauce was not good and it significantly impacted the overall outcome of the dish. I've tried better Hollandaise at other restaurants in the area. They use a ready sauce and it doesn't seem to be working well for them. The home fries are good, nothing special but done well. It felt like I enjoyed the hoke fries more than the main dish which isn't a great sign. The staff are welcoming and generally pleasant, so that's a great plus. I didn't feel pushed to be quick or to order. It was overall a pleasant experience but I'd stay away from the Benedict dishes

This is the place if you want to experience the old fashioned diner vibe. Other than that, food’s mediocre and there are other better brunch options around the area.

A great place to grab a bite since 1969. Old-style diner with booths and a counter overlooking the guys cooking. Quality food, especially breakfast, cooked well. Multiple refills of coffee. The only minus is that it's quite hot in there. They need to turn down the thermostat. We mentioned it and the server said it's hard to find the right temperature. Not a biggie. Will definitely return.

We need more local restaurants like this in Toronto! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, and it feels homemade. We always go there in a group, and they are so accommodating. Highly recommend their Eggs Benedict. Their pancakes are huge!

Wow. I was starstruck. I would have been better off cooking real French toast and pancakes at home than spending $30 on food I unfortunately am going to have to throw out. Honestly really surprised that this place is able to stay alive serving food like this. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and don't come here. So many better food options for the price point. Undoubtedly one of the worst restaurants in the city. I feel so disrespected.

It was the last time going to Good Bite, not first or second, but after six time of going there, I’d say that despite making good food, they’d make you wait to get your order and food while being seated. They are very kids-unfriendly, and yesterday one of their staff came to us and told our son-toddler standing to leave that you have to sit in your chair and eat in my restaurant, very unethical and unprofessional. I’d have given them zero for poor services, but stars only go for the food quality. If you have a kid and are looking for a pleasant weekend brunch, never choose Good Bite.

We came here for early breakfast and we absolutely loved the experience. Eggs Benedict were just perfect! Greek omelette was delicious as well (a perfect option if you are looking for a light, healthier breakfast). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Prices are great too! Highly recommended this place for breakfast/brunch!

First Iwould like to say the service is amazing super quick to get your drinks to the table wether its coffee, water or juice. The staff are all super friendly and simply amazing. Took my family for thier first visit and they loved it, the boy got pancakes which he loved and I tried them of course, they were delicious. I got the eggs Benny with corn beef I will definitely be getting it again. And the wife got a spinach and feta omelet which she also said was delicious. Even good coffee with plenty of refils. If you are in the area give them a try. Thanks for the good bite. See you again soon

Great old school breakfast place (probably the best breakfast place I’ve been in Toronto in 6 years) price, service, food, everything deserves 5 stars. I will for sure come back an recommend it to my friends. We ordered 2 big breakfasts, one pancake and 2 coffees. AMAZING

Have seen this restaurant for many years but only recently tried it. Was hooked after my first breakfast. Everything is cooked to order and they are more than happy to accommodate special requests. The food is fresh, well cooked and plentiful. To top that prices are low and everyone behind the counter are friendly and smiling. Don't expect fancy decor. Goid Bite is an old fashioned diner and it gets very busy on weekends so come early.

My wife, kids and I love breakfast at Good Bite and visit regularly. Good Bite offers a great breakfast at a fair price. The portions are generous, the staff are super friendly and breakfast is served quickly. It’s great to be able to support a local restaurant that’s been around for over 50 years (with good reason).

Great service! The place is cozy and everyone's so nice. Reasonably priced too!!

I'm shocked at so many positive reviews. I can't believe this place is still in business. A $10 ham and cheese sandwich consists of two pieces of Wonder Bread, a single slice of Kraft singles, and a single slice of packaged processed ham. Terrible value terrible nutrition terrible presentation. It's an absolute rip-off and the people who run this place have no love for what they do or the people they serve.

This is my husband's account but it was actually my daughter and I who ate there. All of our food was so delicious.. no complaints at all and I'm Very fussy. The waiter, George, is very approachable, very helpful and down to earth.. great experience for breakfast! 💖

Best greasy spoon in Yonge-Eglinton area. I've been going here for years and it feels like entering your grandma's home. It's always so cozy and the staff is always so welcoming and nice. The price is amazing for what you get in this expensive area. I recommend their eggs Florentine and onions rings! So good.

Love this place use to go here over 20 years ago and now that I'm back in the area I have gone for the last 2 weekends. Brought my family today who has never been and they also loved it. Nothing like an old school diner with amazing friendly staff and delicious food. If you are in the area it's a must try. Thanks for the good eats. See you next week.
