My sister and I passed by this place during the day and returned later in the evening having looked at the google reviews. Really glad we did! Great atmosphere which was dictated by the music (reggae) and the very friendly staff. The food was delicious. I had the 'Caribbean squid' which was accompanied by home made fries and a fresh salad. 10/10 would recommend. My sister had the Biryani which has been her favourite meal of our trip so far.

Great atmosphere, good vibes! Fresh and delicious seafood. Good cocktails. The team is so friendly and make you straight away at ease! Always a smile. You can even learn how to play carrom.

Very pleasant and chill place with friedly staffs, which always welcomed me with the smile on their faces. I like the decorations with flowers and rasta colours, but food I liked the most😁. I enjoyed fisches and fresh seafood as well as fresh juices. I tried few restaurant during my stay at Trincomalee area, but the most I liked meals here.👍 Good location close to the beach, at the main road opposite the ATM. You can also rent the scooter here. I can recommend.

Ok, what? Such a cute little place across from an ATM with good music, super nice people and extremely delicious food. Our recommendation: Fish deviled! OMG, soo good! But all the dishes looked great. You Van also play with your friends Carrom! And try the Piña Colada!

My boyfriend and I went off season and Mel made us feel very welcomed. He also got really nice lobsters for us and showed them a life before cooking them. Nice people working there and food is good.

Oh my gosh.... best food we had so far on Sri Lanka, so we went there twice... for dinner and breakfast ( you HAVE TO try the Sri Lankan breakfast) The soja meat is so delicious, I first thought it's meat... but oh my..... so delicious!!! The guys are so handsome and friendly and doing the best to fullfill all your special wishes! Highly recommended!

The atmosphere, music and service were nice, but the Chicken and Prawn Biryanis were not, not salty, and tasted more like just spicy rice. Moreover the chicken was chevy and the prawns were not cleaned. At least the fresh pineapple and lime juices were really refreshing and well made.

My sister and I had a great experience at Island Flavours. The food definitely lived up to the Google reviews that we read. I ate the seafood Biryani and it was the tastiest meal I have had so far in Sri Lanka!! My sister had the caribbean calamari (it was not battered) and she thoroughly enjoyed hers too. We each had an Arrack Attack cocktail and they were delicious. I would strongly recommend eating at Island Flavours if you are looking for tasty, fresh food!
