Excellent foods and services very friendly staffs ( Arun , Kabin , sathees , seelan , Mithiya) Very clean and hygiene place to stay.

I had a disappointing experience at Nelly Star Hotel in Vavuniya. The service was terrible as they failed to provide a basic necessity like a towel, despite me asking for it multiple times. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to their lack of responsiveness and poor service.

The pool is not clean. You will see frogs swimming in it. Water is green colour yuck 🤮

One of the main hotels in vavuniya. Room condition is somewhat ok for the price. Don't use the swiming pool unless you want to fall ill(it's not regulary cleaned) 2 wedding halls are there. I went to the smaller one. Fitted for a crowd arround 100.

Such a worsted experience. Staffs are not friendly and bad manner, rude behavior staffs. Specifically that receptionist boy(spectacle boy) and room service boy(dark color and little bit beard boy) was waste behaviour and harsh talking with customers.rooms are not clean, room service too bad, they didn't maintain their room. After 10p.m we can't get at least hot water form the hotel. Totally worst room service and worst staff 🤮🤮🤮🤮.

Very bad reception behaviour.. worst reception service in this hotel.. I am really disappointed 😞. But rooms are very clean and peaceful ✌. Please check the receptionist. No neatness and very hard speak. No response for customers... no customer care.

Pool out of order. Roomes are ok but i think the wallawatte one os better and cleaner. Bathrooms not washed properly. No exhaust fan in toilets.

Its the only hotel with decent accommodation in vavuniya. The rooms are reasonably good with ac and hot water. The environment is terrible though, no natural surroundings. We expected traditional tamil cuisine but instead it was the usual southern fast food. Its not very family friendly. However this is the only accomodation in vavuniya so can’t complain much

We had a workshop at the Nelly Star Hotel and stayed there for 4 nights. The service of the staff was great and the food was okay as well. We stayed at A/C rooms these rooms had ample space and were clean. They also let us keep one room after checkout until our workshop ended that they.

This hotel is comparatively ok. Rooms are quite lager than rooms of other hotels in the town. We got a tribal room which was bit smelly in the bathroom. Then hotel staff changed the room to better one which was excellent. It has two lager double beds and one single bed. Restaurant is available in the ground floor. There is a small swimming pool too. Bathroom has hot water.

One of the well known hotel in vavuniya. Recently got renovated and have some improvements. Added Indian cuisine also. Foods are in delicious. Only the complaint is about the service. Staffs are not in the slab as they hold the star hotel entitle.

Reasonable price and good food. Customer service is good. Has a gym, pool and spacious rooms. But lacks slightly in cleanliness.

No indian food as described. Food was meh. Chicken was uncooked too. Only good thing was the AC'd dining room

Absolutely unprofessional place. Doesn’t deserve the name hotel. Poorly trained staff, Zero Maintenance, High Health and Safety Risks. This Place required a-lot of improvement in hygienic factor. Moreover, strictly they have to reorganise the management to improve customer satisfaction which is currently below the worst level. Room charges are funny at the same time disappointing. Finally, my experience with this place to avoid and stay somewhere in decent hotel/ organise any functions in any other places. I hope the authorities look in to this and take strict action.

Nelly Star Hotel is the most rewarded hotel in Vavuniya. They food is very delicious and service is upto standard. As I'm working for a corporate company we conduct our business meeting at Nelly. Very calm place and best place to have business meetings

Average room. No hot water. Intercom doesn't work, so, no bed coffee. Very noisy guests.. And no lift.. After all these, I didn't bother to check out the meals.. Cut short my stay to just one night.
