It’s a normal place to stay. Pretty expensive. Price not suitable for rooms. No clean. Food tasty. Pleasant staffs. Mosquito in the morning time. No maintenance. For an emergency stay, can choose thampa. Otherwise not recommendable.

Room service is ok. But taking time to get the foods we ordered. But the taste and quality of food is awesome. Very friendly service and supportive employees there.

Never punctual with coffee and food. Simply disregard guest requests. Water supply got interrupted three times in the night, had to keep 1 litre water bottles full and ready. Staff were zombies. Don't recommend the place at all!

Accommodation is good. You don't have much choices of meals. But you can get organic food. Swimming pool is there. Alcohol is available in habana. Service is good.

We were travelling to Colombo from Jaffna on 22 August 2016 and stopped at Thampa House Restaurant in Vavuniya for Lunch. We were told that they could only serve Rice & Curry and would have to cook it for us and that it would take 45 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised when the delivered the meal of rice & 4 tasty curries in 40 minutes. The service at the restaurant was excellent and the staff were very friendly and courtious.
